I recently embarked on an extended stay in Uzbekistan and had the pleasure of exploring various hostels along the way. However, my experience at Manija surpassed all expectations, making it an unforgettable part of my journey. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, which set the tone for an incredible stay.
One of the first aspects that impressed me was the impeccable cleanliness of the hostel. The rooms, common areas, and facilities were spotless, creating an inviting and hygienic environment. The attention to detail in maintaining a high level of cleanliness was truly commendable.
The hostel's location proved to be a strategic choice, as it offered easy access to numerous markets and local bazaars and very nearby Samarkand train station. Exploring the vibrant neighborhood became a delightful daily ritual. The bustling atmosphere and the array of diverse shops and stalls added to the charm of the area, allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture.
What truly stood out during my stay was the range of amenities available at the hostel. The provision of cooking facilities, including stoves and fridges, meant that I could prepare my meals whenever I pleased. Additionally, the availability of hot water for drinks added a comforting touch, especially during colder days. These thoughtful amenities made me feel right at home and allowed me to save both time and money.
it was the exceptional staff at Manija hostel who truly made my experience unforgettable. Led by the amazing Firuza, the hotel manager, the team went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Their friendly and helpful nature created a welcoming atmosphere, and they were always ready to assist me with any queries or recommendations.
We came from Tashkent for work and spontaneously stayed at this hotel without reservation, there were rooms available. In general, it is very clean and cozy, beautiful lobby, comfortable rooms with air conditioning. I would like to highlight incredibly soft beds, thanks to which we had a lot of sleep.
The staff is friendly.
The location of the hotel is very convenient
Pros: Excellent new furniture, clean linen, large common areas with tables, kitchen, refrigerator. Polite staff.
Of the minuses:
1. Expensive - for the price of accommodating 4 people in one room, you can rent a 3-room apartment in excellent condition
2. On the 3rd floor, the kitchen practically does not work - the microwave, refrigerator does not work, there are no spoons and forks - for this you need to go down to the 2nd floor. The stove doesn't work at all.
3. There is no elevator - it is inconvenient to bring heavy suitcases to the 4th floor. But the administrator volunteered to help bring it in.
A great place to relax. In the morning you will be offered breakfast which is included in the payment of the hostel. The rooms are large and cozy. Everything smells clean and fresh. The mattresses are perfect.Everything is within walking distance. You can walk from the railway station. There is a market next to it. There are many exchangers. We highly recommend it.
This hostel is among the best. There is a very cozy atmosphere, large common areas with sofas and tables for vacationers. Quite a delicious breakfast, beautiful interior and convenient location
One of the many hostels in Samarkand. Friends booked, upon arrival we were greeted, settled in a double room, the rooms are large, a canditer, a TV, one wardrobe and two bedside tables, everything is clean and fresh. In the morning, breakfast with fried eggs and sausages. The toilet and bathroom are shared, for everyone. It's clean but there's not much space, it's hard to turn around. Overall, the feeling is positive, this is the best place to spend the night.
The best HOSTEL , like a two-star Hotel, is straight. Cleanliness, comfort for this money, is nowhere to be found. In the center of the city of Samarkand.

It is very nice clean and cozy in the city center, everything you need is located nearby and the price is reasonable
A great hostel. We were going to the forum in Samarkand. We were there for almost 3 days. Excellent conditions and friendly staff. All the amenities. The price/quality ratio is 9/10.
I was there in June, a great option for a company, there are also family rooms.Clean, soft, friendly staff. Not far from the train station. Very nice hostel!
A beautiful new place. There is an Internet connection. It's quiet and cozy. Friendly staff, there is breakfast. The only thing is a very small shower and toilet.
Only when there was nowhere else to go, the price was called higher than at the booking and they said that there was no breakfast. Of the appliances in the kitchen, only the thermopot works, nothing can be cooked. Just eat the food brought from outside. Otherwise, it's fine. The price is too high for such a level of arrival.
The best hostel I have visited, everything is done according to European standards and very high quality, it is better than many hotels in Uzbekistan. A sincere, almost homely atmosphere of Uzbek hospitality has been created. A lot of common ground. Such places should be kept secret if you often travel to Samarkand)))
The place is good. Just don't wait for suhoor in Ramadan. And breakfast is also not on time. If you are not in a hurry to go anywhere, then the perfect place for you. If you come for work, then you may be late for work waiting for breakfast.
We stayed at the hostel on November 14-15, 2019. I really liked it! Bathroom, toilet on the floor, but very clean. The room has four beds, a wardrobe. Cozy, freshly renovated. On the floor there is a recreation area, a large TV, sofas. Close to the railway station. $15 per day per person, breakfast included. I recommend it!
