The prices are very good: in a hotel or, for example, in the neighborhood - in the shopping center "Nile Pharaoh" they are 2-3 times higher. All goods with price tags, prices are indicated in dollars, you can pay in any way, even in rubles - in cash or online - however, the ruble exchange rate is not very interesting. The question of whether it is more profitable to pay in dollars or local pounds remains open to me.
Most of the sellers speak Russian well.
And yes, if you buy for 5.5 bucks, they can take 6. It's better to get to the whole dollar, or finish off the fractional part with pounds.
