A large hotel in its own bay, surrounded by two military bases. The territory is very well maintained, there are many flowers, butterflies, small squirrels.
You can swim here! Upon check-in, we signed papers that we take responsibility for ourselves. And every day, as they climbed into the sea, they ran up to us and forced us to re-sign. No one else was swimming, so we were the only ones on the beach)) There is wonderful snorkeling on the far beach, lots of live corals, so take your masks from home)
Breakfasts are for three. There is a poor choice and there is absolutely no seafood, fruits are also 4-5 types and they are some kind of unripe. They pass from 7 to 11 and when you come after 9 you have to stand and wait in line on the street. Dinners cost 799 yuan and in fact are not worth even a third of the stated price. We took a taxi for 11 yuan and drove to Dudenhai in 5 minutes, where we had dinner for 200 for two with beer, and for lunch we took fruits, dined on sun beds by the sea.
The rooms and service are excellent! Excellent cosmetics Atelier Cologne, cleaning twice a day, refillable minibar, Evian water, for tea - a heavy Chinese teapot!
We took a deposit of $500 for 8 nights!

For the Chinese
The hotel is impressive, but with its own nuances. We stayed for a couple of days, choosing between Mandarin and Hyatt. The price tag is not small, the expectations were better. The check-in was quick, you can move around the territory on golf carts, however, you need to call them in advance or wait if you're lucky. Walking is not very convenient, since the buildings are located on different levels.
The design of the hotel is impressive, stylish, but it is clear that time is taking its toll: repairs are needed. Our room with a terrace turned out to be cozy, but with minor flaws — the front door did not close, and the drain in the shower needed repair because it did not drain the water. They couldn't move us because there were no available rooms.
An unexpected surprise was the burnt adidas slippers — for such a network it is, to put it mildly, strange!
The beach is a coral reef, so don't expect soft sand here, but dinner is right by the sea
The kitchen is designed mainly for Chinese, but if you ask, the chef will cook whatever your heart desires. Only the receptionist speaks English from the staff..
Impressions are mixed: the hotel is good, but not for $ 350 per day (usually 290), there is a lot more to work on

A magnificent hotel. The quality of service is at a high level. Cleaning twice a day, clean and fragrant linen and towels, high-quality cosmetics. The area is very beautiful. A varied breakfast (dumplings with seafood are a separate love).
The place is very pretentious. Bentleys, Ferraris and all the rest of the list are constantly coming. Someone comes just to take a picture on the way to the hotel. She is very beautiful.
Pathos = expensive. We must be prepared that food in restaurants on the territory costs 3-4 times more expensive than in the city. But the noodles we ate at the on-site restaurant are the most delicious thing I've eaten on vacation, it's a fact + huge portions, like everywhere else.
Of the cons: the large swimming pool was closed and tourists leaving their towels on the sun beds (infuriating to the point of screeching), but the staff put additional sun beds. And we must be prepared that the hotel is located at a distance, in a closed area, next to a naval military unit. It is a 20-minute walk to the city and the first shopping center (the popular Pineapple). The road is of course very beautiful, but you don't really walk with children, you need to take a taxi.

Hello everyone, I was at the hotel from 5.01-10.01.25. I'm writing everything after the fact.
Cons: The hotel is tired, yes, but even such a hotel can be maintained at a decent level.
About breakfast:
In the morning, the breakfast plates are greasy, dirty tongs.

The breakfast itself is meager. Two types of cheese, the sausage is not neatly folded. She asked me to slice the avocado fresh, so the cook didn't bother to take a clean knife, and started cutting with a dirty knife. And I have it all with me.
Cappuccino is always cold.
Breakfast is more for the Chinese than for the Europeans.
About the territory and the endless stream of Chinese people not staying at the hotel:
For some reason, the hotel allows you to let anyone who wants to have a photo shoot.
That's why Chinese girls with their photographers don't jump everywhere and even on top of you. It gets to the point where you're lying on a lounger, they lie down between you and a selfie stick starts passing over you. There is no comfort and no personal boundaries.
I won't write about how dirty they are, "where I ate and took a shit," sorry for the expression. And the hotel does not clean up after them in a timely manner.
About the beach:
Every day they make you sign a paper stating that you are responsible if you drown, or get bitten, or cut yourself. The beach area is rocky, coral, it hurts to enter, why don't they bring it into proper shape? It's not clear. But ours were swimming.
About rooms and cleaning:
Cleaning is normal 2 times a day, water is not enough, 2 bottles of 800ml each, the rooms are cold and not cozy- empty.
Restaurants:
The prices are high, it was delicious at Sunset, the order is a la carte European or Chinese cuisine (food as room service)
There was a delicious barbecue on the beach. (The price per person is 12 thousand rubles)
There is a Chinese restaurant and a noodle shop on the beach.
There is also the so-called Pineapple shopping center, where our people go to eat, I have little idea how to eat there, but okay 😁
The mall feels like you're in the 90s, all that's left is to put cardboard under your feet and measure your clothes.
But there is a supermarket where you can buy Russian products, alcohol, etc.

It's like a jungle!
There is a Dyson hairdryer in the room.
Will I return to Sanya? No! Because they are far from a normal service. And for the Chinese, the ceiling is straight, they orient themselves to them. That's why I don't know if something will change sometime

A very pleasant and relaxing hotel , the atmosphere is like in Bali , a tropical beach with palm trees and birds , delicious breakfasts, dinners are also chic but painfully expensive , if you walk to the restaurant it turns out much cheaper .
The rooms are always clean, mattresses and bed linen of the highest quality , air conditioners work well when it's +35 outside , you can create +18 in the room, take gorgeous views with a sea view, it's very nice to wake up!

It was 10 years ago. Since I really liked it, we decided to repeat the experience. What to say: the podustavshiy hotel. This applies to cleaning (stains from other people's fingers on the glass doors of the shower and toilets I wiped myself), and furniture (a table with indelible streaks and stains from something round). It's somehow indecent for the "five". Moreover, we had a two-room suite... It is felt that the management has changed, and this has affected all services. However, I do not take off the stars, because there is a warm pool (water is 33-34 degrees!), and it is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.! The sun, the sea, the palm trees are the best for the mood!

This hotel was three times, in 2009, 2019, and 2023.
Before the pandemic, the hotel was very good, I always recommended it to friends and acquaintances, there were disadvantages, like poor English skills by the staff, but then the situation was not so critical.
In 2023, after 3 years of working only on the domestic market, a lot of negative sides came out:
1. Yes, 10 people speak English for the entire hotel, but rather less
2. Regularly in all restaurants, except Yi Yang, additional dishes or drinks that you did not order are added to the receipt, so always check the receipt, the first 2 times I thought it was a mistake, but then it became clear that this is a system
3. My wife and I decided to go to the SPA, but we could not order the service, since no one speaks English, and the staff do not know their programs from the word at all. At the same time, when we arrived, there were a lot of free masters.
4. The beach area is quite dirty, cigarette butts and garbage are lying around
Of the advantages, I can mention:
1. Excellent, very beautiful and comfortable rooms
2. Amazing territory
3. There are guys who are really trying, Nikki, Greg, etc.
4. Very nice large pools
In the dry balance, it doesn't pull 5 stars, it's not worth your money anymore

Wonderful hotel! Everything is at the highest level! But there is a spoonful of decanter in a barrel of honey. Just before leaving the hotel, we went to do a check-out. At the reception they say, "you have to pay another 600 yuan. The hotel and the tour operator have some kind of misunderstanding about us. We're already in a hurry to catch a plane. A calculation was made for this. We explain to them that we are not interested in our relationship with the tour operator. In general, we argued and said that we would not pay. And only after that we left. As we later learned from friends, this is not the first time this has happened! They know how to spoil a wonderful impression of hotels.

A large territory, many different plantings – palm trees, shrubs and flower beds, a practical solid tent protects from the Sun. You can move around the territory (very large) in an electric car with a driver, you can call from the room.
A great private beach, if you are alone in the hotel from Russia, then the beach is your personal one, the Chinese do not like to sunbathe and swim. The beach is sandy-shell with the presence of small corals, it is better if you take closed rubber shoes if your size is 43 or more, for some reason they do not have large sizes.
Good rooms, availability of bathrobes, slippers, towels of three types, shampoos, gels, creams, toothpaste and brushes, and all this changes daily. The presence of an electric kettle, elegant tea utensils and good Chinese tea
Polite staff, if you don't need it, then it's not there, but if you need it, then here it is, like in a fairy tale, like he left the room and they did the cleaning here, replaced the bed linen, towels, bathrobes, used shampoo and other accessories.
Very diverse, high-quality breakfast products, just a huge assortment, in my opinion everyone will find to their liking.
Freshly squeezed juices, various cheeses, meat and fish delicacies (namely delicacies).
In general, products of both European and national Chinese orientation.
Expensive lunches and dinners, at least $100 per person. There is only a trip to the city of Sanya, a taxi of 20 yuan (200 rubles), will be called by the hotel staff.
