Restorant is good, but we waited for 45 minutes minimum, food was decent, but some dishes are more salty(chicken curry), I would recommend phahito with chicken, it was delicious.
For long waiting time I'll give 3 stars...

I was in this institution on 27.09. I was very captivated by the drinks from the bartender Eugene, everything was at the highest level, delicious, fast and most importantly with a soul. The bartender was very polite and sociable, did everything at the highest level. The kitchen has a separate respect. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

A restaurant can be called a stretch. This is not a place for respectable people. The range of dishes is 4 with a minus, alcohol is 3. The dishes are delicious, but the portions are very modest. There is no comfort. They cook for a very long time: salads take about 50 minutes, and dishes take longer than an hour. The most unpleasant thing is the sticky table, as in catering canteens. In general, you can have a beer with shrimp with your friends, but you don't need to go with a decent lady.

When our orders were prepared, I really couldn't say where, since we took 3 caftas (I wrote it correctly), 2 of which were with chicken, and one with beef. I had to take out a knife to cut it and see where it belonged.
The dish itself is not tasty.
A lot of pita bread, a couple of slices of tomato, quite a bit of lettuce and a tasteless chicken cutlet. The percentage of lavash was 60%!
I definitely don't recommend it to anyone

2 weeks ago we went and ordered all sorts of things for 144 rubles. It doesn't seem to be the cheapest place, but the food is just terrible. The salad with Parma seemed to be drizzled with syrup, tartare, beef stroganoff looked terrible (worse than mashed potatoes with meat from the dining room), it tasted like nothing, the meat was tough. Surf n turf - it's not clear what at all. The shrimps are tough, tougher than steak, barely managed to pierce with a fork, and generally do not smell like shrimps. Apparently, they carried the food for so long (about an hour and a half) because the shrimp were digested, no other way. It wasn't worth the money at all. The only adequate dish is an eggplant salad. The lemonades were not bad, but the first time they managed to mix up and brought the wrong one. The only plus is the decor and furnishings. Beautiful, unusual, yes. But the music is disgusting. It's unclear who decided that putting on some strange repetitive rhythms was a good idea. Because of this, we moved to the terrace - it turned out to be not so stuffy, and some guy was yelling into the microphone outside, distracting us from this nightmare, so we endured, but there was a great temptation to just climb over this terrace while we were being carried hot and run away. Maybe two stars is not enough, but it seems to me that three stars are too generous for such money. We won't go there anymore and we don't recommend it to anyone.

I visited this place with a friend on Friday. Unfortunately, there were no seats in the hall and we were offered to sit down at the bar, of course we were upset at first, but the bartenders changed our mood for the better from the first seconds. We have never met such friendly people in public catering, they helped us with the choice of cocktails and salads. It was obvious that the bartenders had a lot of work, but it was so interesting to watch what was happening at the bar. Many THANKS to the bartenders Alexandra and Eugene for this evening. Cons: the service is sooooo long, we even counted on it for a very long time, the dishes taste below average, we found someone else's hair in one, the prices are higher than many good places where you can eat delicious and much cheaper, that is, it's not worth it.
Results: I would not advise anyone for anything. The atmosphere was so tense because of the long wait for everything, they wanted to leave, but they couldn't, because EVERYTHING was very long. Firstly, when no one comes in, it is unclear where to put the outerwear.
We went into the hall, some kind of girl, it is unclear, but who, perhaps the administrator, offered to take off her outerwear and hang it in the wardrobe, when I undressed I had a scarf, mittens, hat, bag, there is absolutely no pedestal or stand to place things and take off my jacket at this moment, the girl was just watching a picture of how things fall on the floor. (when we left and talked on the phone at all, there was zero attention at all)
I ordered a salad with crispy eggplant, eggplant in a salad in the peel is just tin, is it really difficult to peel eggplants. The plate was brought with greasy fingerprints, all stained, well, it was just super unpleasant to eat it, I had to wipe it with napkins. (photo attached) The appliances are also not rubbed, I ordered a glass of wine - the glass is also not rubbed. In my opinion, in such establishments where the average price tag for a dish is 25+, there should be some kind of service and elementary standards of the norm.
The next dish I ordered was surf and turf: they brought raw meat, fried for half a minute on each side. I called the waitress - to which she replied that the meat was as it should be. Seriously???? The meat is stupidly raw, is it tar tar?? How do you imagine I have to eat a piece of raw beef, it's not even finely chopped, how long do I have to chew it, 10-20 minutes??? (unfortunately I didn't take a picture, I was very angry) The meat was finally fried for me, thank you.
The institution should somehow work to ensure that guests return there, I have no desire to return there and I do not recommend it to anyone. In Gomel, even fast food establishments are better

The place is interesting and cozy. The staff is wonderful and polite, I don't understand just the non-Slavic guys who were grimacing and defiantly behaved, spoiled a good impression and the rating of this restaurant in my eyes fell to a diner. Salads are not bad enough, the meat did not go from the word at all (at a price of about 24 rubles per 100g. - you could have tried to cook better).

As a result, they changed it to a steak salad. About the fact that the waitress told us that there are pickled honey mushrooms in the salad, but in fact they are not there, this is without comment at all. While we were waiting for the hot stuff, which turned out to be missing, we finished a glass of wine and caesar with CHICKEN and pointed it out on the menu. We went out for a smoke, came back and there was a caesar with SHRIMP on the table. I went to deal with the waitress why they brought me the wrong salad, to which she replied that she had repeated the order and I agreed with him. Not a damn thing like that. First of all, chicken and shrimp are quite different words, so I stupidly couldn't mix them up so much. Secondly, the waitress did not repeat to us what we had finished. And already in a rather rude tone, she stated that she always repeats orders.My salad was taken away for replacement, 10,20,25 minutes have passed, there is still no salad. We went to smoke again, I go up to the guy who was standing near the bar to ask how long it would take me to redo the salad. He goes to find out and I saw my salad stupidly standing in their distribution. The guy brought the salad with me, and the chicken is already half cold. I didn't tell them anything about it anymore, because I really wanted to eat. Oh, yes, after the first order was made, they asked us to transfer to the summer terrace if any table was available. Of course, tables were vacated there and new people who had just arrived were seated. This is the first time such negligent service has been provided in this institution. The establishment was very upset. We booked a table in advance for the event. But the institution was very disappointed in the end. The food was prepared as slowly as possible, provided that simple dishes were ordered. It took at least an hour from the moment of ordering to the first course being served. At the same time, the chicken turned out to be raw, the rest of this dish was cold. They promised to redo it within 10 minutes, but they redid it much slower. The rest of the dishes were also prepared and served slowly. It's like they forgot about us. I constantly had to ask and remind when everything would be delivered. However, they did not get any of the dishes (croutons) for about 2 and a half hours.
In a word, the normal conduct of the solemn event was ruined!
The only thing worth noting is an apology from the administrator and a small treat as compensation. But this won't fix the holiday...

My visit to the Mama Juan restaurant was a mixed experience. On the one hand, the interior of the establishment is striking in its beauty, creating an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The staff was polite and professional, which is good news.
However, despite the first impression, the visit was overshadowed by significant shortcomings. The waiting time for the order was unacceptably long – almost an hour and a half of waiting for salads seems unnecessary even for a high-end restaurant. Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes did not meet expectations. Salads, which were supposed to be an exquisite start to the meal, turned out to be not expressive in taste.
Pricing at Mama Juan also raises questions. For the offered quality and service, the prices seem to be too high, which makes visiting the restaurant a dubious pleasure.
In conclusion, although Mama Juan has potential due to its interior and staff, improvements in service and cooking are needed. I hope that the restaurant management will listen to the reviews and make adjustments so that every guest leaves completely satisfied.
