I took off 1 star for:
- The beach mafia. There were two unpleasant situations. First, at the entrance to the beach, every morning, we were told that the first and second lines were allegedly occupied and there were always towels (Anapa style), but often people were not lying.
- And secondly, they tried to deceive us before entering the pool, allegedly it was necessary to reserve a place, we asked "is it possible to reserve for tomorrow", which we were told not to do. It turns out that the seats were reserved by the hotel staff for some large company with towels even before the start of issuing these very towels.
- Well, there was another situation that we asked for a transfer, and the girl from the reception said everything was captured and forgot about us, then forgot where we were going and ordered a taxi to the wrong place. Fortunately, we told the taxi driver where we needed to go.
Of the advantages:
- We got a very nice cleaning employee (an Asian girl with glasses), just a darling. She lifted her spirits with her smile every day. Plus, she cleaned up great.
- Upon check-in, there were incredibly friendly staff at the reception. In particular, Vladimir, who contacted us before the trip so that the way from the airport to the hotel would not cause us discomfort and made sure of it. Plus he helped us with various issues.
- The hotel is in excellent condition.
- Nice rooms with a nice bed. Everything from shampoo to razor was in the room.
- Luxury spa and massage. With clean pools (did not smell of bleach) both inside and outside.
- It's not a bad gym.
- Towels were provided wherever necessary.
- Gorgeous view from the window.
- Excellent breakfasts with a good variety.
- Good security system - there are cards everywhere to enter certain areas
- Elevator next to all stairs
- Transfer by luxury electric car (albeit for a fee)
I have been coming to Montenegro every year since 2009. In 2023, the choice was made in favor of Maestral, the price and quality are justified! I was very pleased that the hotels have a tennis court, very tasty restaurants, I have not been to the casino, but I think it will be an advantage for someone😁
A pretentious and expensive hotel with a casino, I must say right away: I lived there at the expense of my employer))
The interiors of the hotel are new, everything is clean, shiny / shining. My room was beautiful, but small, with a full set of small things + a mini bar. Own large sandy beach with sun beds, where outsiders are allowed for € 80, i.e. they are not there! There is a bar between the beach and the pool with freshly squeezed juices and cocktails.
An outdoor swimming pool with sea views and another (+2 mini) in a small fitness+spa complex. The restaurant with shared breakfasts and lunches worked very slowly due to Covid: each guest was accompanied to the Swedish line by a separate waiter who filled the food on a plate, which caused queues. Ukrainians rested at the hotel, as well as in general in Montenegro this year: 6 direct flights a day did their job!
There were many families with children, everyone went from the beach / to the beach in swimsuits, which did not correspond to the general pathos. But on the beach itself, women with ISL and LV bags + Moët champagne in ice buckets emphasized the elitism of the place))
I didn't get into the casino, well, at least the money survived 😂
The staff is friendly, everyone tries to work at a high level, but there are often time failures, there were several jambs at work. In general, if finances allow, a decent choice for a vacation!
