I must say that I really liked the hotel. Even though they gave me a room without a balcony, which I wanted, the room and its location were still cool. We were accommodated in a new building overlooking the bridge over the pool. After reading a bunch of bad reviews, it was scary, so I'll go through them: 1. They scold the location of the hotel. In my opinion, it is ideal for those who want to stay as far away from the hustle and bustle and parties as possible. The beach is my favorite in Phangan. If you want to be in the hangouts and crowds of people, go to the south of the island, or better yet to Phuket. 2. Breakfasts – I sympathize with those who scolded them. The choice of dishes is decent. You can have lunch at breakfast right away) Fruits and desserts are always delicious and varied. To put it mildly, you definitely won't stay hungry)) 3. Both pools are different and cool. There are a lot of flowering trees around the smaller one, so leaves and flowers fall into the water. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that. 4. An unpleasant nuance that somewhat spoiled the impression: a few days before departure, I was interested in the transfer, but on the day of the checkout it turned out that I had to book everything in advance (although when I asked in advance, no one offered it). I asked how to act in this case, but the male administrator said that there was nothing to help. After a very unpleasant moment of urgent search, I guessed to contact the receptionist. And she fully organized our transfer by ferry and taxi to the airport. It is unclear why the man refused to do this? Riddle... 5. In general, the staff is cool. The room cleaning was excellent. But for some reason, when the soap ran out, they didn't give it anymore. It would seem that this is a cheap consumable, but we had to buy it ourselves... For any questions, everything was solved perfectly quickly and clearly. If not for the last incident, I would have written only sighs of admiration about my stay. 6. The gym was somewhat disappointing. The heaviest dumbbells are 10kg, the lightest are 4kg... For some it is a lot, and for others it is very little. The most interesting simulator was broken for a month (for arms and legs). There is only one treadmill. There are also a couple of ellipsoids and a couple of exercise bikes. Not much, but what is there) 7. One of the advantages of the hotel is a stunning garden with various trees, flowers, shrubs and birds. Short summary: I will be happy to come back again if I want a quiet, relaxed holiday.
