There are no disadvantages! Some advantages!
We took a Kia Rio 2019 for 7 days for 35 euros per day. The car is fresh and well maintained. We went to the Troodos mountains, to Paphos and just to the beaches. They were taken at 8 a.m., returned 7 days later also at 8 a.m. We could have left the car at the hotel and the keys at the reception, but we handed them over ourselves. The location of Macao is convenient in the center of Ayia Napa. We had a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The owner told everything in detail about the management, about the subtleties of automatic refueling on the speakers and much more. The hosts are available via WhatsApp, everyone speaks Russian. The franchise is only 300 euros, no collateral is needed. Gasoline - as much as was in the tank, so much needs to be returned. If less, you can pay extra. We had just over half a tank. My wife and I were very pleased with the trips and the car itself!
I treat rental cars like my own, which I highly recommend to everyone! The rule is simple - do not do with a rental car what you would not do with your own and do not drive it wherever you would not go with your own. And there won't be any problems!

I didn't think for long. While walking, I went to various car rental agencies. This campaign was the closest to our hotel and was opened early in the morning. Having received the general information, he continued his journey. To my surprise, there were three more agencies along the route and all were on the stick, which was not surprising, but we were not proud and had to wait. The conditions in these companies were the same, except for the franchise, each had its own 300,400 and 500 euros. I was surprised that clarity came earlier than I expected, maybe because I was under the sun and burned out, although it was morning, but decided to return to where I started my journey. Car rental terms are 40 euros per day, (I took for 5 days) a franchise of 300 euros (I think the conditions vary from season to season) we return the tank with the same volume or leave the money in the car for 10 euros for each quarter, there were no mileage restrictions, when registering you need a license, passport number, hotel name, room number and money. They don't take anything as collateral. In the morning, I filled out the documents, paid for the rent for 5 days. The owner of the car offered to inspect and take a photo for the presence of chips and scratches, told about his impressions of the cars and how to operate (maybe not much in an emotional form) with the desire to return the car in the same form. Now about the car. The brand new car was very pleased both in operation and in control with 4 passengers including the driver and the air conditioner coped with 5+. In comparison, we met a car in the Trodes mountains, so I was surprised how it got there. The smell of burnt oil was concentrated. The first days of long-distance trips were not made, I got used to the right hand drive and the local nature of driving. At the end of the rental, I left the keys at the reception at the hotel, in the morning the car was already picked up (according to the conditions). I recommend this agency. P.S. Refuel the car during the day, as you will have to serve yourself in the evening

On the recommendation of friends, we contacted Macao Rentals and booked a car (hyundai i20) 10 days before departure to Cyprus. We traveled as a family of 4 people - 2 adults and 2 children (7 years and 5 months). After discussing the terms, we were immediately offered a booster and a child seat for free. The car was rented for 8 days, it never failed. I recommend this rental center, the conditions and prices are pleasing! The return was without problems and complaints, since the hotel was located next to the rental center (4 blocks), the car was taken directly from the hotel parking lot!

I thought for a long time whether to take a car or just a few excursions (I was confused by left-side traffic, expensive gasoline and responsibility). I went to them just to ask about the conditions, but after a short conversation I left to travel around Cyprus on a pretty Picanto Cue ;)
The rental price was even lower than expected, payment by card/ cash, no deposit needed. There is a standard insurance, if desired, they can apply for an extended hard hat for 10 €. The staff is polite, Russian-speaking, everything was explained according to the peculiarities of local traffic, they gave a memo on the main attractions. The car was in good condition with a small mileage. An undoubted plus: you could leave the keys to return the car at the reception of our hotel (River Rock). In general, if it were not for renting a car, the trip to Cyprus would not be complete and not so interesting.

Only such an assessment, in my opinion and my wife's opinion, deserves this office. I'll explain why.The owners are Russian. We wanted to rent a car there.A boorish-looking man with glasses, who looks like Basilio the cat and with the same attitude, meets at the entrance. No hello, no goodbye. It feels like it's not us who came to get the service, but him to us))) I did not see the prices as loyal and adequate as people write in previous reviews. There is an office nearby with a more loyal price tag. It took us 3 minutes to leave quickly.With this attitude, you scare people away. Since you live and own a business on this Island, match the people living there, who are more sincere than you can find. I sincerely advise you to develop, take note. Good luck to you👋

We took a car for 3 days. We booked from Russia, discussed everything on WA, then chose a car on the website. At the agreed time, we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the office.
We rolled the whole of Cyprus along, a little across. A good car for 2, economical, never failed! Excellent service from the owners - for adequate money. Everything was explained and told. In general, we are 100% satisfied. We recommend it! Prosperity to the guys, expansion of the park and services:)

We took a Pikachu (Picanto) on April 25-26, 2021, we liked everything. They told about the features of the movement, the car is fresh (15,000 mileage), the staff is Russian-English-Greek speaking. Everything was loyal in terms of price. There were no questions or misunderstandings when returning the car! We are as satisfied as possible.

Great place, the owners are Russian. We took the i20 and picanto for a few days, we were satisfied. An adequate price tag, no deposit is required, you can get full insurance (+10€ / day), payment by card / cash. All kia are fresh, hyundai is older, but cheaper and in good condition.state
