An old monument in a beautiful old square. The monument to Count Vorontsov was erected with people's money in 1863 in front of the cathedral, where he is buried. The sculpture itself and the bas-reliefs were cast in Munich, and the pedestal was made of stone brought from the Crimea. Surprisingly, in Soviet times the monument was not demolished, only the bas-reliefs were removed. Now it is in its original form.
