A regular park around Luxemburg Palace, not far from the Latin Quarter. They did not enter the palace itself, they walked through the garden repeatedly. Alleys, statues, fountains. In some places there are parrots in the trees, turtledoves defile on the lawns. There is a place to sit and relax after hiking around the city. There is at least one food booth. There was no toilet, but we didn't look for it in those parts
Very beautiful! This garden and the palace attached to it were created by order of Catherine de' Medici. There are more beautiful-looking sculptures of royals, heroes and deities; the famous fountain. There are shaded areas. Portable chairs. There are quite a few people, usually, but quietly. Can
sit quietly, meditate....
The gardens are well cared for, they have plenty of chairs and benches for those who want to relax. Beautiful fountains, cool in summer. Children can ride small boats in the largest fountain.
