Mixed feelings from staying at Lykia World Hotel 5*
We stayed at this hotel in October 2021. We took standard rooms. Since we went with two families (4 adults, 2 children), we decided to ask for a room for a large family at the reception, the administrator Anna went to meet us and offered three options, we stayed at the villa, for which we paid a certain amount.
I will say in advance, we were delighted with our stay at the villa. We were provided with a two-storey building with its own territory and three swimming pools (a small one inside and two outside, one 40 cm deep, the other 140 cm).
The building has three bedrooms, each with a wardrobe and a bathroom. There are 4 toilets and three showers in total. One room has a bathroom and two sinks. A separate spacious hall. There is also a sauna, balconies (two wide and one small) with views of the villa. The windows are panoramic. Near the pool there is a large table with chairs and a sofa, there are 4 sun beds and an umbrella.
Of the appliances in the villa there are three TVs (one in the common room with a USB input and one in each of the two bedrooms), a large refrigerator (replenished daily with pepsi, Mirinda and plain water), a microwave, two hair dryers, a Wi-Fi router (works perfectly), general air conditioning, adjustable in each room.
Shower accessories included gels, shampoos, washcloths, shaving foam, cotton swabs, lotions. There were bathrobes and slippers.
For 14 nights of stay, only one day was not cleaned, towels and bed linen were changed almost every day. Sometimes they forgot to report toilet paper.
Nutrition is a separate story. My wife and I liked everything very much, there were several types of meat (chicken, turkey, veal or lamb), fish (different types), all in different variations, stewed, lean, fried. Two types of soup were offered every day, often spicy. There were also a lot of vegetables and fruits (probably from neighboring greenhouses), there were bananas, pears, apples, grapes, oranges, tangerines, etc. There was a separate corner with food for children. Our relatives didn't like the food very much, they said it was getting boring quickly.
They also gave ice cream made from goat's milk (4 flavors) at lunchtime in the buffet and for dinner in the main dining room, very tasty.
There was an open dining room closer to the sea, where they gave shawarma, burritos, burgers, triangles with cheese, French fries, vegetables, fruits, ayran, pies. There was also a bar where you could get various drinks (juices, water, tea, coffee, Tuborg beer, various cocktails). There are 4 main bars in the hotel, one 24-hour near the lobby. There are hookahs ($20-25). Delicious pizza/tortillas were made near the beach. There are also a la carte restaurants, but we didn't go.
The hotel has various activities (discos, games, fitness training, cool water park). The animation is active.
There is a cool fitness room, a large selection of exercise equipment and free weights.
The territory of the hotel is extensive, I ran twice, it turns out to be 4 km in diameter.
We also learned that from 2015 to 2018, the hotel was rented, after which it acquired a shabby condition in places, but not critically. It is clear that the new owner is trying to renovate the territory, I assume the pandemic has slowed down the renovation of the hotel, next year I think everything will be at the highest level.
On the downside, in October, this hotel often hosts all kinds of conferences, corporate events, etc. Due to this, there are sometimes queues in canteens and near the bar. When everyone leaves, it is clear that there are very few vacationers themselves.
The sea is contrasting due to the river nearby, sometimes cold, sometimes warm. It's a little cloudy. The beach is sand / small pebbles, the approach is quite gentle. It is worth moving 2 km from the central beach to the left and the water is warm and transparent.
This hotel is located separately from the others, the nearest bus stop is 9 km away. We took a taxi to Manavgat from the hotel (~30min). The cost is $ 75, the taxi driver takes you, gives you five hours to stay and takes you to the hotel.

In general, a decent family hotel, for a holiday with children is the best!
On the plus side:
- large territory, lots of greenery, several children's pools + a children's water park
- children's menu in the dining room, and porridges and the first, yoghurts, biscuits, ice cream, etc., well vegetables / fruits.
- large sandy beach (pebbles only on the surf line) , plenty of space, plenty of sun beds too.
- Russian-speaking staff
- there are many different children's programs and contests.
Of the cons:
- the fattest one is room cleaning. It was relevant for us with an 8-month-old baby who crawls on the floor and puts all sorts of shit in his mouth. By and large, it's hard to call cleaning, it all comes down to replacing towels and taking out trash cans. They don't wash the floors, but throw garbage under the furniture. From here, there is another disadvantage - a bunch of ants in the rooms.
- the hotel is in a remote area, you can't walk outside the territory, there are fields all around.
- interruptions with hot water, and problems with sewerage (there is not a big smell)
We had a duplex, on the first floor there was a living room with a balcony and access to the pool, on the second floor there were 3 bedrooms, each with a toilet, washbasin and shower + 1 bath + TV + telephone. It has already been said that the rooms are well, to put it mildly, not new, so it is.
Everything would be great, there were never even drunken brawls and fights, although 90% of them are Russian, probably family)))
But there is no cleaning in the rooms, even after contacting gvest relay, they are not in a hurry.
The hotel can be safely recommended for a family holiday, everything is really great with programs, food, and the sea. But only if your child is already walking, otherwise you will carry him around the room in your arms.

We had a family vacation with five in October 2020. Everything was comfortable for us. We had a great time! The room is nice, the kids' club is wonderful, the cuisine is varied (even sushi was given). The hotel is suitable for family holidays.
There is only one caveat, if you want to go shopping in the shopping center, then there are no buses, and a taxi is at least $ 45 one way.

Management and staff are top-notch, especially in working with clients. The intourist's guide also thinks only how to cut money from you. But in 20 years of traveling to Turkey, I have not enjoyed the place and the hotel for a long time.

Yes, the hotel is quite ancient, the rooms are dilapidated and, as I understand it, strongly depend on the building. Upon arrival, we were settled in the 4th building, which is very far from the benefits of civilization (bar, restaurant). There were problems with lighting in the room, after contacting the reception (as I understood it, this is the only way it works in Turkey) we were converted into 1 building. The differences are quite large - a fresh number is sick, everything is working, everything is close.
The territory of the hotel is huge, 20% have not been bypassed in 2 days. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the sea. Probably due to this, it is a little more expensive than analogues.
The cuisine is quite diverse, I really haven't seen any fish.
For those who want to go on various excursions and generally visit somewhere outside the hotel, I would not recommend this place. The hotel is located far from large settlements, for example, the cost of a taxi to Antalya round trip with an included waiting time of 5 hours is $ 70

The hotel is sooooo old! We rested at the hotel at the end of September 2021. On the beach, as for non-smokers, there were great inconveniences for us- smoking people constantly lay down next to us, as soon as we moved to another place, smokers came again-it's not so difficult to share even a little bit!
They also took it because of the large territory to walk, but in the evening it will not work because it is almost dark everywhere and there are damp, dirty paths from watering. And the hotel was isolated and I didn't want to take any chances.
Of the advantages, there were always free sun beds both at sea and by the pool, no one ran to borrow from 6 a.m. and in general the general atmosphere of autumn is relaxed and calm. And by the way, unlike the rest, the toilets were clean enough.
Some people write that if you find fault, you can see the wrong thing.When I was choosing a hotel, I saw the comments (and succumbed to it)- that a pig will always find dirt, etc., but in fact the fact is the fact and to turn a blind eye to it is strange, especially when you were in clean and new hotels for less money earlier.

I do not know who writes a great review about this hotel, apparently if you compare it with Russian resorts, then yes. and if with the Turkish holidays of the past years, then absolutely NOT .
Check-in date is from August 1st to August 10th, 2021.
I'll start right away with the cons :
- the hotel is very ancient , at least from the time of Brezhnev , the age betrays the general dilapidation .
The room was in building 5 , number two ! indoor .
- the lock did not work in room 1 (they entered through room 2 all the time) and the issue of fixing the lock was not resolved in any way.
- the phone did not work ( to call the technician only after walking to the reception )
- creaky bed, worn sheets, broken furniture handles.
- in each of the rooms, the air conditioners were slightly "alive", that is, it is always hot and stuffy in the room (the most important thing is to come to a lunch nap with a child)
- the shared balcony was never cleaned , washed only in the rains ( you can 't go out barefoot )
There are only two restaurants in the hotel, one for 250 people, the second near the open-air beach..
The big one was immediately surprised by the queues for food ( everything is fenced off , there is someone between the food and the tourist who puts food that needs to be shown . The air conditioning is turned off in the restaurant ( that is, it is always hot and stuffy )
Food on solid 3 - we saved as much as we could ( fruits are usually still green and oak )

The hotel is considered not the cheapest , according to many tour operators - slightly above average .
So for a little above average, you expect more or less service. The sea is there and that 's good .

Although it takes at least 10 minutes to walk to the beach (there are simply no options faster ), the beach itself is very large , and there are always free sun beds ( 30-40% free ) , which means that you do not need to get up at sunrise and occupy sun beds .

Wide coastline (fine sand, pleasant), gentle and comfortable entrance to the sea. rescuers. changing rooms, shower, toilet are all there. There are enough towels and sun beds for everyone. Drinking water is always freely available on site. Cafes take turns working, you will not stay hungry. The food is delicious, varied, in large quantities and for everyone! taste. For adults and children. Ice cream, pizzas, and other fries are all available. Everything is of high quality. fruits, vegetables, greens - everyone ate. fish - meat - poultry - tried everything. the cuisine is varied. They always came to the meal half an hour later than the start. All dishes are replenished, people are reduced. Room cleaning, replenishment of the minibar, change of towels, cosmetics in the bathroom, slippers, hair dryer - no complaints. the bath and shower are all there - which is very convenient. safe in the room. There are Russian channels! news, federal and entertainment. The staff is friendly. The guest relations department - contacted a couple of times in the restaurant and on small things in the room - everything was solved instantly. I chose the hotel for a long time, meticulously, there is something to compare it with. everything stated is true. The territory is green, spacious, you will not run into anyone with your foreheads. The only drawback was the not very well-functioning air conditioner in the room, even with a request to the reception desk to correct the situation, they said that the air conditioner was working properly, but in fact it was very stuffy in the room, and with the offer of hoteliers to open balconies at night, we considered this offer not so humane, since there are a very large number of mosquitoes. 2 adults + 2 children (4.5g and almost 2 years old) had a family vacation from 08/11/2020 to 08/19/2020. The ticket cost 147 rubles (for three, the youngest child is free). In principle, there should be a solid five for such an amount, but the Lykia World hotel is 3* ... Upon check-in, we arrived at the hotel at about 9-10.00 in the morning, sent for breakfast, then a long wait at the reception. Of course, I understand everything. Check-in at 14.00. But we arrived at the beginning of the opening season… The hotel is empty... they were ready to check in right away for the money. But in the end, we were settled with small children last of all in the distant building No. 7. Very humanly and hospitably, isn't it?))) Well, anyway, after 3 days we got used to walking along their long unwashed and stuffy corridors. What are the disadvantages or advantages for someone?: 1. For some reason, I constantly had to come and complain about the lack of cleaning. During our entire stay at the hotel, they cleaned 3 times... The lock did not work, it was repaired, then every day the keys were demagnetized, and the same key sometimes worked or not (it was annoying to be honest) 2. Queues are constant in the restaurant. (Turkey's new buffet system, due to the pandemic, the waiter is serving food) Of course, if there are few waiters, it is regularly necessary to stand, then one after another, etc ... It is elementary to pour water, you need to ask the waiter who cleans the tables to take out a bottle and pour water or wine. This does not always happen quickly, sometimes I had to ask 2-3 times. There is no milk or baby juice for children, only concentrated jupi ... The choice of food is small, it can be seen that it half works, but in general there have always been side dishes, chicken, some meat and fish. We didn't go hungry, we cooked quite tasty. 3. The territory of the hotel is large, but somehow abandoned and not well maintained everywhere.. For example, we wanted to take a walk in the evening after dinner, it's dark, the lanterns don't work anywhere (they are only included along the hotel). The playground is open only on the beach and that is a relic of the past... We found another one opposite the 4th building, it is not stretched with an awning and is covered with thorns. The hotel itself has just begun to repair and wash the windows somewhere... 4. The beach. It's big, but in recent days a lot of vacationers have arrived and already at 10 a.m., there were no empty sunbeds. Of course, there are many fans who like to take a seat before breakfast… As a result, people either lay down on a towel or left the beach altogether. Entering the sea in strips of pebbles, then sand. Just the place where the sand is about chest-high, it was very nice to flop there. And the trick from the hotel, reception and delivery of towels (1st point) lunch from 12-13,00. Just lunch at the main restaurant at 12.30 and everyone is in a hurry there, so that they don't rent in the middle of the day, but use it all day))))) If they really went out for lunch, otherwise there are 5 people at this booth, just to say lunch and not to throw towels into their cart.
My husband and I are generally positive people and we know how to find advantages in many ways. That's why we tried to enjoy an unexpected vacation.
But on the last day I still had to be very nervous. A few days before departure, I went to the reception and asked if it was possible to extend the room, because the evening flight, they said to come up on the day of departure and they would definitely extend it. On the day of departure, we were refused, my requests that we need a small child to sleep after lunch somehow went unheeded. In general, I burst out, I swore for a long time. We just got home. The hotel is wonderful. We had a rest with the children, so we are very happy with this hotel. For children, there are several small pools, playgrounds, one on site and one on the beach. Children's animation struck with its diversity, and there were clowns, and a magician and different contests. There was even an aladdin performance. There are 4 water slides. A mini club equipped with lots of toys is open during the day, and a mini disco takes place every evening. There are also many interesting things for adults. There are such free activities as water polo, darts, archery and pneumatics, table tennis. Various shows are also coming. Once every 2 weeks, dinner takes place right on the beach by the sea. In general, we were not bored. And in the evening, a disco takes place until two o'clock. The food is delicious, all in the Turkish style. The beach is sandy, of course, but there are a lot of sticks and stones. We didn't find the best room, and it was cramped and stained in some places, but cleaning was carried out every day, and we only slept in the room, so we didn't notice these flaws. In general, the hotel continues to be renovated, defects are being removed. For example, they put a door with a latch on the balcony so that a small child could not go down from the room to the pool. My husband certainly raised his voice a little, why is there no door on the balcony, so we did everything within an hour. I liked the staff too. As for the diseases, we were fine, we swam in the pool and in the sea. We were lucky with the weather too, it's hot) In general, I recommend this hotel to those who are not going to go on excursions and to many shops, since the hotel is located far away. Have a good rest, everyone.

The hotel is beautiful, the territory is what we came to this hotel for and were not disappointed. Beautiful, tasty, clean. It was disappointing that the cleaners were stealing money... we saw a warning that all valuables should be put in a safe, but we did not do this. We thought that it would be enough to hide the money in a secret pocket of the bag and put the bag in a drawer so as not to attract attention. But unfortunately, after cleaning, 20 dollars were missing.. a nice cleaning lady apparently estimated the cost of her work in our room at such an amount for the first time we encountered such a thing, apparently the pandemic did not pass without a trace for this hotel. I understand that it was our fault that we decided not to put it in the safe, but it's still unpleasant. Otherwise, everything is fine. I recommend the hotel, but be attentive to valuable things and BE SURE to put them in the safe😁
