It closes very late two days a week - I recommend checking the opening hours and going to the museum around 17.00 on "long" days. There are practically no queues. And, of course, study the site beforehand. This is a museum city, not a museum. I was at the end of October 2018.
Long queues. There are few exhibits, mostly paintings. It's not interesting after our Hermitage. There is a lot of hype, but little sense. It's really cool in the Vatican Museum.
The Louvre is first of all/Mona
Lisa, Gioconda/The Feminine Ideal
The Beauty, The Mystery Is Unsurpassed.
And Leonardo's paintings are still there.
And the Movie/The Da Vinci Code/ too
Here.Great, Beautiful...
Before getting to one of the most famous museums in the world, I had to stand in a huge queue for an hour and a half. By the way, to see all the masterpieces that are in the Louvre, one day is not enough...
That's great!!!!! Thanks! I liked everything very much. Here's another audio guide in Russian.....

We visited the Louvre in September of this year. There are many halls under renovation. The Mona Lisa was moved to the third floor and a separate queue was set up, which begins already in the cash register. It's not very convenient.
A wild number of people, it's better to leave before closing, before 18 o'clock. Because then they literally start to drive everyone to the exit with sticks and you won't get on any type of transport for about an hour :)
There is no electronic guide in Russian, which is at least
strange. Prepare yourself before going to the Louvre, otherwise the trip there will be reduced to a selfie with Mona Lisa.
