Lukoil is the only company for the use of whose services I am willing to overpay (for gasoline and everything else) in order to receive comfort and pleasant service. But this point, unfortunately, makes me doubt the correctness of my choice.
One of the reasons why we prefer Lukoil to competing companies is the well-established operation of toilets. At large gas stations there are both women's and men's booths, or even several of them, always clean, there is always paper, paper towels and so on.
Often seeing a gas station on our way, and having more than half a tank, not having the need for refueling, but having the need to relieve ourselves, we stop and, like honest people, refuel the car, for the sake of decency, so as not to use the gas station only as a toilet, but if we have a full tank, then we definitely buy something in a store or cafe, even if we don't need it, as if "paying" for visiting the restroom. Although (hand on heart) I understand that the cost of gasoline and the margins for everything else already include the use of free services such as WC.
We often travel by car, drive tens of thousands of kilometers across Russia and beyond, and the amount of gasoline we bought at Lukoil more than pays for rare toilet visits, even for years to come.
So, lately I've noticed that Lukoil has started to deteriorate. This is already the point where, for various reasons, the toilet does not work. Okay, this is a normal practice for Gazpromneft, and that's why we often drive past their gas stations. But I did not expect this from Lukoil.
To begin with, we did not plan to visit this particular point if we did not need it, because gasoline prices in the territory of the Republic of Belarus are much more expensive than in Russia. Here I'm not even worried about my bummer, when I went to the gas station, I heard a young man ask very much to let him go at least "in a small way", but was refused, I also saw a pregnant girl leave the gas station with a doomed face. Yeah, that's great. What else can I say?
Of course, no one canceled force majeure, as well as "technical reasons", whatever that means. And I understand perfectly well that there is a franchise, and the company is "not to blame" for the dishonesty of entrepreneurs operating on its behalf ... BUT! As a customer and consumer, I don't have to know such subtleties, get into the situation and make allowances for it.
If a representative of the company reads my review, you should not take offense at him or make fun of him as frivolous. If the customer is dissatisfied, then this is at least a reason to think about whether everything is in order with the service. But many people are ashamed to write about the toilet, but it will not hurt them to silently draw conclusions.
Well, at the end of the review, I will say the following. It used to be like this: if I see a red and white "LUK" on the road, then for me it is a priori a sign of excellent fuel quality, impeccable service, comfort and well-coordinated work of all the components of one large "organism" called Lukoil, and I will definitely stop here without hesitation. But lately I've been getting more and more disappointed, and it makes me sad.
And even the fact that there was no queue at the gas station, and there was a self-payment terminal (which, by the way, is convenient to use), and there were no annoying gas station attendants, will not change my assessment. After all, the main evaluation criterion is that I did not receive the desired service, and even overpaid for gasoline, which could have been bought already on the territory of Russia, having passed the border. After another such case, one question remains: why then is there a pointer "WC" on the signboard, which in fact cannot be used (it looks like misleading visitors).
I stopped by the gas station today - my mood lifted)) very nice staff - they gave me a bonus card, the man at the checkout explained everything clearly. Only positive emotions
