excellent hotel, super breakfasts, pools of incredible beauty. the non-reception staff is not particularly executive, they promise to bring it to the room and no one does anything

I had a vacation there about 20 years ago. Thank God, not at my own expense. I was there for work twice as a Spanish translator.
Plus: the temperature is +21-26 all year round. People with heart disease and allergies to permanent residence often go there-they feel good there!
The hotel, rooms, service, grounds, pools, food-everything was GREAT!!! Champagne was served in the morning. Themed dinners, for example, shrimp. There were so many of them that I couldn't taste all the dishes.
I don't know how it is now, but geographically, this is the most beautiful, southern part of Gran Canaria, where the sun always shines, sandy beaches and the famous lighthouse, the hotel is located right next to the lighthouse.
There are many pools on the territory, it is convenient to swim in the evening and at night, all are warm. I often cut kilometers at night-I like to swim when no one is in the pool.
The atmosphere is more for the elderly: calm, measured, in the evening there is only an 80's disco from the animation, the audience is mostly retired Germans. But it is very comfortable, beautiful, expensive (at least it was). I liked everything very much, I still remember with great pleasure my two visits to this hotel!
