This is not a restaurant, but a culinary journey into the depths of Belarusian culture. The Litvins greet you like a dear guest: they smile here as if you had come for a family gathering, not for dinner.
Draniki are like gold coins with a crisp edge, machanka is thicker than village gossip.
I expected an antique price tag, but I received an invoice that would not force me to sell the cow.
Book a table at least a day in advance — otherwise you risk waiting, admiring the lucky ones through the window.
Litviny is a place where you pay for food and get a piece of history. It is ideal for those who want to feel like a part of a big feast where everyone is related.
If all restaurants honored traditions so much, fast food would be extinct.

I liked the interior of the restaurant — it was cozy and modern. The prices are pleasing — below the average in the city. However, the kitchen failed: the potato dumplings with meat were tasteless, the potatoes were bland. Plus, there is a long wait for an order. My impressions were mixed.

The prices are quite reasonable, I left more in the Lido, although it is ridiculous to compare such establishments. I didn't try much, I can't say that the kitchen was amazing, maybe there are even 4 balls, but maybe I didn't get to the main dishes, so we won't reduce it

I visited Litvinas at lunchtime and was very pleased! I ordered the soup of the day and the hot dishes from the lunch menu — everything was delicious, it felt like the food was fresh, and the dishes were prepared with soul. I was especially pleased that with this quality, the food remains affordable — the prices on the lunch menu are quite pleasant. The cozy atmosphere and courteous staff made my lunch even more enjoyable.

Why did you take off the star:
1. Artificial hype with reservations. We were a big company in Minsk and tried to book a table several times, but we were refused (by phone). They explained that there were no large dining rooms, no judges, no seats, etc. As a result, we managed to book a table for 6 people when part of the company left. It was Friday evening, and as a result there were a lot of empty tables in the hall, and 8 could easily have been placed at our table for 6 (there were 8 of us initially, but this table was not given for 8).
2. There is a children's menu on the website, and unlike some other dishes, there is no indication that there is no children's menu in the restaurant on Sverdlov. Our child (like, I'm sure, most children) does not eat everything, and we look at what we can take...and we feed them at home if there's nothing. Then they chose dumplings, and all the way my daughter walked and talked about these dumplings, but there were none...And in principle, there is absolutely nothing that a 3-year-old child can eat. When booking, I told you that we have a child with us.
But the place is generally great, I recommend not to get arrogant in general))

Each of our visits to Minsk is not complete without a visit to Litvina. We usually visited Prytytsky Street, but this time we learned that a new restaurant had opened on Sverdlov Street. And I also saw a review of the apples in the snow dessert, so there's no way to miss this place.))) It turned out that the "apples" were only on New Year's holidays, and we came on January 11, but we were not disappointed in anything.
If you want not only bread, but also circuses, go to the "Litviny". First of all, it's the menu. A literally fabulous book with amazing illustrations. Secondly, the serving of dishes. This is a separate show and entertainment. It's very beautiful, unusual in places, and very, very tasty! Forshmak is prepared in front of your eyes, cocktails can be conjured by yourself from magical ingredients, and thanks to the sorceress Ekaterina, we were offered dessert no worse than apples. Or maybe it's better. The pear pastry is very delicate and exquisite.

Upon arrival in the city, the first place I wanted to visit was Litvina's restaurant. I liked the atmosphere, the staff was courteous and with a subtle sense of humor. Serving dishes for 5+. The chef's reading of the national cuisine has gone very far. Baked potatoes with herring and mustard sauce were especially popular. The bacon was delicious. And I recommend to try the father-in-law's witches.

It is quite difficult with restaurants in Minsk, there are catastrophically few of them. Litviny was recommended to us by our guide. This restaurant is located in the very center, on Independence Square. The interior is gloomy, like the Middle Ages. The devices are brought in large stones with slits, it looks like stone bread) They brought us special aprons for the soup - they are very cute, you can take them as a souvenir. Very tasty soup flakes. I don't really like draniki, they were delicious, but it's not my favorite dish. The service could have been faster, but Belarusians are not in a hurry, as I noticed. In general, it is a good place to explore Belarusian cuisine.

A great place with great surroundings and style. Belarusian cuisine in a variety. The impressions are extremely positive. I am from Brest myself, but visiting Minsk I managed to visit here: friendly staff, varied menu, and salivating when choosing dishes. The interior has its own style. What is the design of the menu itself worth: it's like flipping through a glossy magazine, feeling the natural leather cover in your hands. There are a lot of different details in the design that harmoniously complement each other. I recommend trying borscht: they bring it in a pot and with a bun, it's sooo delicious. And be sure to check out the desserts. Pear is definitely an unusual, delicious and balanced dessert, and the serving is my homage. The place is mandatory to visit.

There were a lot of people in the hall, but the food was served quickly (they brought us everything at once, maybe we should warn about the serving time) - no more than 15 minutes. This is due to the small menu. The dishes are hearty and delicious. The combination of flavors is unusual sometimes, but generally at the highest level.

We were there on Friday evening. I came with a friend, there was a queue at the entrance, the waiter said that there would be a place for us and for 2 people in front of us. Then we were offered to hang our outerwear in the lockers. The man and the woman in front of us were helped to hang up their clothes, we were not, okay, it was quite crowded because of the crowd. The waiter took us away to look for a place for 2 people in front of us, and the hostess began to look at a magazine. After an assessment of the hostess's (absurd) solvency and a long pause, we were told that there was only a place at the bar, there was nothing else for US. Why they offered to undress and why there were places for the rest before and after us in the presence of empty sofas and tables is an interesting question. When we were leaving, the waiter with the mustache returned and asked in surprise why we were leaving. We said that, in fact, there are no places, so we have to leave. If you want to be looked at appraisingly and humiliatingly in an ordinary place, you are here. One of the advantages is the convenient location and beautiful interior.

The kitchen was a delight: each ordered dish gave a new taste sensation. The perfect balance of taste was observed, I did not want to change anything, just enjoy it) It would seem that familiar dishes began to play with new colors.
I recommend potato dumplings and pork chopsticks - these dishes have amazing sauces. The perfect end to the dinner was rye ice cream - sweet, salty, spicy, tastier than I've ever eaten in my life.

We visited Sverdlov Street on April 24! I am absolutely delighted with the interior and service of this restaurant, from the meeting to the service!
The food is above all praise! We've tried tartars and your signature tinctures. Tartarus is simply bombastic. They really wanted to put it on the table for testing, but your newfangled white plates do not allow such maneuvers.

We visited the Litviny restaurant in August, before leaving Minsk, and were completely delighted. The cuisine here is really pleasing with the variety and quality of the dishes — each of them was delicious, and it was difficult to single out something specific, as everything turned out to be on top. We also tried several cocktails, which were not only pleasant to the taste, but also refreshing. One of the cocktails was even offered to be mixed independently, which added an element of interactivity, although there was not enough dry alcohol for an ideal serving.
The interior of the restaurant impresses with its style and comfort. I especially liked the music playing in the chillout style, which created a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
Despite minor flaws, such as the lack of dry alcohol for the cocktail, the impression of the "Litvinov" remained very positive. We will definitely come back here again on our next visit to Minsk. If you are looking for a place with excellent cuisine, original cocktails and a cozy atmosphere, Litviny is the perfect choice.

An unreal place. Highly recommend it. We went with a friend and never regretted it. Duck salad is just a dump of everything. We ordered more buns with mashed vegetables. I have never tasted such tender meat anywhere. It doesn't just melt in your mouth, it falls apart from being touched on a plate. Like stew, but even more tender.
The tinctures were also delicious, not diluted. I felt wonderful after drinking alcohol.👍🏻
The staff is competent and courteous. Despite the absolutely full landing and the queue, the dishes arrived very quickly. Waiters ask their customers if they like everything. It's completely unobtrusive, so I really want to mention this attentiveness.
In general, the restaurant is on top!
For two of us, it came out in the region of 2800 rubles per person. It's not cheap, but it's quite justified for such a restaurant. If I go to Minsk with friends or relatives again, I will definitely come back here to try other dishes!!!

However, this time the impression was spoiled. We came with my wife to have dinner on the veranda. They served quickly, the dishes were delicious and beautiful. But at 21:45 on 09/24/2024, an employee closed the roller blinds, generating obscenely loud and disgusting squeaks, blocking us a beautiful view of autumn Minsk, and hinting that it was time for us to wind down (the institution is open until 23:00). It may be a small thing, of course, but it was very, very unpleasant.

Of course, we are not money purses, but still the attitude was strange. The impression was made by a very friendly waiter, who served us quickly and beautifully, and told us about all the dishes. The dishes are 8 out of 10, the administrator's ratio is 5 out of 10, the waiter is 100,000 out of 10. Anyway, I recommend that you go and try it at least for the sake of food.
