The establishment itself is located in a good location, it's quite cozy inside. For a very long service, you have to wait half an hour for the drinks to arrive (prices indicate quality, but the portions are very small and it turns out that the sides of the large plate are spread with sauce and a spoonful of lettuce in the center. This is very upsetting because when you come to such an institution, you want quality and service. Alas, but here it is at the level of a pancake or shawarma (
This is not a restaurant, but a culinary journey into the depths of Belarusian culture. The Litvins greet you like a dear guest: they smile here as if you had come for a family gathering, not for dinner.
Draniki are like gold coins with a crisp edge, machanka is thicker than village gossip.
I expected an antique price tag, but I received an invoice that would not force me to sell the cow.
Book a table at least a day in advance — otherwise you risk waiting, admiring the lucky ones through the window.
Litviny is a place where you pay for food and get a piece of history. It is ideal for those who want to feel like a part of a big feast where everyone is related.
If all restaurants honored traditions so much, fast food would be extinct.
After dinner, I want to ask: "Is your machanka recipe a state secret?"
I liked the interior of the restaurant — it was cozy and modern. The prices are pleasing — below the average in the city. However, the kitchen failed: the potato dumplings with meat were tasteless, the potatoes were bland. Plus, there is a long wait for an order. My impressions were mixed.
An interesting restaurant of modern Belarusian cuisine, with an original presentation and a cool interior. The prices are quite reasonable, I left more in the Lido, although it is ridiculous to compare such establishments. I didn't try much, I can't say that the kitchen was amazing, maybe there are even 4 balls, but maybe I didn't get to the main dishes, so we won't reduce it
As a result, the restaurant fully meets my highly inflated expectations of a Muscovite, from the design of the menu to the availability of rollers for clothes in the toilet. If you are in Minsk, be sure to come in and confirm or deny my review
I heard that there are tasting evenings with the chef of the restaurant, a great format for dating
I visited Litvinas at lunchtime and was very pleased! I ordered the soup of the day and the hot dishes from the lunch menu — everything was delicious, it felt like the food was fresh, and the dishes were prepared with soul. I was especially pleased that with this quality, the food remains affordable — the prices on the lunch menu are quite pleasant. The cozy atmosphere and courteous staff made my lunch even more enjoyable.
I liked the kitchen, the interior, the music.
Why did you take off the star:
1. Artificial hype with reservations. We were a big company in Minsk and tried to book a table several times, but we were refused (by phone). They explained that there were no large dining rooms, no judges, no seats, etc. As a result, we managed to book a table for 6 people when part of the company left. It was Friday evening, and as a result there were a lot of empty tables in the hall, and 8 could easily have been placed at our table for 6 (there were 8 of us initially, but this table was not given for 8).
2. There is a children's menu on the website, and unlike some other dishes, there is no indication that there is no children's menu in the restaurant on Sverdlov. Our child (like, I'm sure, most children) does not eat everything, and we look at what we can take...and we feed them at home if there's nothing. Then they chose dumplings, and all the way my daughter walked and talked about these dumplings, but there were none...And in principle, there is absolutely nothing that a 3-year-old child can eat. When booking, I told you that we have a child with us.
But the place is generally great, I recommend not to get arrogant in general))
It's a wonderful place. Delicious dishes, good portions, reasonable price.
The staff is friendly.
I liked the modern interior.
I was very comfortable being in this place.😌
Each of our visits to Minsk is not complete without a visit to Litvina. We usually visited Prytytsky Street, but this time we learned that a new restaurant had opened on Sverdlov Street. And I also saw a review of the apples in the snow dessert, so there's no way to miss this place.))) It turned out that the "apples" were only on New Year's holidays, and we came on January 11, but we were not disappointed in anything.
If you want not only bread, but also circuses, go to the "Litviny". First of all, it's the menu. A literally fabulous book with amazing illustrations. Secondly, the serving of dishes. This is a separate show and entertainment. It's very beautiful, unusual in places, and very, very tasty! Forshmak is prepared in front of your eyes, cocktails can be conjured by yourself from magical ingredients, and thanks to the sorceress Ekaterina, we were offered dessert no worse than apples. Or maybe it's better. The pear pastry is very delicate and exquisite.
We are now waiting for the next meeting with the beautiful.)))
Mega tasty, mega beautiful, great location of the restaurant.
It's very cool that the menu and the dishes themselves aim to preserve the culture, some beliefs (I have the names of mythical spirits and creatures) of Belarus.
A great place with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Modern interior and reasonable prices! I recommend ☺️
If you make it to lunch time (which is before 16:00), it turns out to be very profitable :)
The most excellent restaurant! Very tasty cuisine! Beautiful serving of dishes! We tried a lot of dishes from the menu with the whole family, we liked absolutely everything! Especially minced meat and borscht ! I advise everyone to visit
Upon arrival in the city, the first place I wanted to visit was Litvina's restaurant. I liked the atmosphere, the staff was courteous and with a subtle sense of humor. Serving dishes for 5+. The chef's reading of the national cuisine has gone very far. Baked potatoes with herring and mustard sauce were especially popular. The bacon was delicious. And I recommend to try the father-in-law's witches.
It is quite difficult with restaurants in Minsk, there are catastrophically few of them. Litviny was recommended to us by our guide. This restaurant is located in the very center, on Independence Square. The interior is gloomy, like the Middle Ages. The devices are brought in large stones with slits, it looks like stone bread) They brought us special aprons for the soup - they are very cute, you can take them as a souvenir. Very tasty soup flakes. I don't really like draniki, they were delicious, but it's not my favorite dish. The service could have been faster, but Belarusians are not in a hurry, as I noticed. In general, it is a good place to explore Belarusian cuisine.
A great place with great surroundings and style. Belarusian cuisine in a variety. The impressions are extremely positive. I am from Brest myself, but visiting Minsk I managed to visit here: friendly staff, varied menu, and salivating when choosing dishes. The interior has its own style. What is the design of the menu itself worth: it's like flipping through a glossy magazine, feeling the natural leather cover in your hands. There are a lot of different details in the design that harmoniously complement each other. I recommend trying borscht: they bring it in a pot and with a bun, it's sooo delicious. And be sure to check out the desserts. Pear is definitely an unusual, delicious and balanced dessert, and the serving is my homage. The place is mandatory to visit.
We stopped for lunch. We took borscht and it was very tasty. A ruddy pie with potatoes and an apron are served with borscht, so as not to stain clothes. The portion was large, it was very satisfying. For dessert, we took pancakes with caramelized pears, ice cream and sauce, which is set on fire in front of us. It's also very tasty. An atmospheric place. The price tag is acceptable. The portions are large, the waiters are nice. I liked everything.
Excellent restaurant of Belarusian (Lithuanian) cuisine. Everything is very tasty. I would especially like to mention the forshmak serving - it is prepared "from under the knife" right in front of you. The service was excellent, our waiter knew the menu well, was familiar with the mushroom and was able to recommend the dish according to the request
Wonderful restaurant: we were with the Chinese delegation - we liked everything very much: both the service and the cuisine. Borscht, cabbage soup, lard on coals, fish are beyond praise. I can safely recommend it to the guests of Minsk: you will not regret it. Thanks to the chefs and waiters!)
We came in the evening, after the tour. Delicious, fast service, an average check of 3,000 Russian rubles. Interesting instrument feed, in the cobblestone. And a delicious pie - a bucket of potatoes. Respect to the cook. There is a disadvantage when you take off / put on outerwear, there is nowhere to put it, you put on a scarf and hat somehow, there is no place for a wardrobe. I hope this issue will be resolved. Otherwise, I recommend
Delicious! Beautiful presentation, beautiful interior. Great waiters, hello to Vladislav :)
It was the first evening and a wonderful introduction to the Belarusian cuisine in a modern interpretation.
The table must be booked in advance, it is convenient to do this through the website.
There were a lot of people in the hall, but the food was served quickly (they brought us everything at once, maybe we should warn about the serving time) - no more than 15 minutes. This is due to the small menu. The dishes are hearty and delicious. The combination of flavors is unusual sometimes, but generally at the highest level.
I want to come back and try all the menus.
Delicious, the food is great, the tinctures too! I liked everything, the impression is Mega positive! The staff is at the highest level, prosperity and development, we will be in Minsk, we will definitely come again!
We were there on Friday evening. I came with a friend, there was a queue at the entrance, the waiter said that there would be a place for us and for 2 people in front of us. Then we were offered to hang our outerwear in the lockers. The man and the woman in front of us were helped to hang up their clothes, we were not, okay, it was quite crowded because of the crowd. The waiter took us away to look for a place for 2 people in front of us, and the hostess began to look at a magazine. After an assessment of the hostess's (absurd) solvency and a long pause, we were told that there was only a place at the bar, there was nothing else for US. Why they offered to undress and why there were places for the rest before and after us in the presence of empty sofas and tables is an interesting question. When we were leaving, the waiter with the mustache returned and asked in surprise why we were leaving. We said that, in fact, there are no places, so we have to leave. If you want to be looked at appraisingly and humiliatingly in an ordinary place, you are here. One of the advantages is the convenient location and beautiful interior.
Pleasant atmosphere, polite, unobtrusive service, a real, good family restaurant. The only comment: it feels like the national cuisine has been rethought too much, I would like something more traditional or something.
Sooooo delicious, beautiful and at a reasonable price. The locals recommended this place and we have never regretted that we went to Lithuania. A great place to try modern Belarusian cuisine. And the dessert, potatoes, delighted me. I recommend 🙃
It's a great restaurant. Very tasty food, excellent tinctures and serving of dishes. The staff is professional, you feel as comfortable as possible in the restaurant, thank you for a great evening
It's a very charming restaurant with interesting cuisine, though partly for the amateur. Old Belarusian / Lithuanian cuisine: borscht, but with cranberries (a little sour, maybe not for everyone), but at the same time it's really tasty, rich, saturated! Mashed meat from the oven, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes. The prices are not the lowest, but also not so high - dinner for three without frills 120 BYN, acceptable. If there is no rejection of old European cuisines, then I recommend it!
The interior is modern, it is interesting to look at the details of the decor and decoration, very comfortable sofas and armchairs.
The kitchen was a delight: each ordered dish gave a new taste sensation. The perfect balance of taste was observed, I did not want to change anything, just enjoy it) It would seem that familiar dishes began to play with new colors.
I recommend potato dumplings and pork chopsticks - these dishes have amazing sauces. The perfect end to the dinner was rye ice cream - sweet, salty, spicy, tastier than I've ever eaten in my life.
Personal thanks for a wonderful evening to the waitress Ekaterina - pleasant communication, everything is on time and unobtrusively, knows the menu and all the nuances perfectly, really listens to reviews about dishes, and not, as often happens, for the sake of fulfilling job descriptions. Thanks again 💜
To understand the culture of the Belarusian people, you can visit this restaurant. Delicious cooking, interesting serving. The only disadvantage is that it is too far from the city center.
I recommend. I think this is a restaurant of high national Belarusian cuisine. This is evidenced by the presentation, the taste of the dishes and the atmosphere created. The only thing would be to tighten up the staff, but just a little bit! As a whole, I highly recommend you to visit. Yes, the prices are quite low. I think it will be one of the favorite gastro places in Minsk.
A very popular place in the city center. There are practically no empty seats. It is possible to book a place on the website with a subsequent call from the restaurant for confirmation. It will not be possible to sit longer than necessary, they may ask not to delay the table in view of its occupation by the next guest.
The cuisine is beyond praise ... everything was delicious: amazing borscht and draniki, and what desserts they have ... it's definitely worth trying chocolate rye ice cream with buckwheat popcorn!Attractive serving of dishes with a national flavor.
I definitely recommend it!
We visited Sverdlov Street on April 24! I am absolutely delighted with the interior and service of this restaurant, from the meeting to the service!
The food is above all praise! We've tried tartars and your signature tinctures. Tartarus is simply bombastic. They really wanted to put it on the table for testing, but your newfangled white plates do not allow such maneuvers.
Desserts are great! Thank you, we will definitely visit you in Minsk.
We visited the Litviny restaurant in August, before leaving Minsk, and were completely delighted. The cuisine here is really pleasing with the variety and quality of the dishes — each of them was delicious, and it was difficult to single out something specific, as everything turned out to be on top. We also tried several cocktails, which were not only pleasant to the taste, but also refreshing. One of the cocktails was even offered to be mixed independently, which added an element of interactivity, although there was not enough dry alcohol for an ideal serving.
The interior of the restaurant impresses with its style and comfort. I especially liked the music playing in the chillout style, which created a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
Despite minor flaws, such as the lack of dry alcohol for the cocktail, the impression of the "Litvinov" remained very positive. We will definitely come back here again on our next visit to Minsk. If you are looking for a place with excellent cuisine, original cocktails and a cozy atmosphere, Litviny is the perfect choice.
The food is very tasty, the prices are adequate, the atmosphere is gorgeous in the establishment, the food was served. The waiters are polite, attentive, warned that they recommend filming dishes with effective serving, there are memories thanks to the waitress)) Service and food for 10/10, I advise everyone)
A great place to spend evenings (and not only evenings) with a company (and not only a company). The kitchen, menu, service, serving, interior, service, waiting time, a large selection of dishes - no one will remain indifferent to this establishment. There is a feeling that the restaurant positions itself as a place with Belarusian cuisine - it's very nice!
A great place with incredibly delicious food and amazing service. Probably one of the most striking establishments in Minsk. I strongly advise everyone who will be in Minsk to visit this institution.
An unreal place. Highly recommend it. We went with a friend and never regretted it. Duck salad is just a dump of everything. We ordered more buns with mashed vegetables. I have never tasted such tender meat anywhere. It doesn't just melt in your mouth, it falls apart from being touched on a plate. Like stew, but even more tender.
The tinctures were also delicious, not diluted. I felt wonderful after drinking alcohol.👍🏻
The staff is competent and courteous. Despite the absolutely full landing and the queue, the dishes arrived very quickly. Waiters ask their customers if they like everything. It's completely unobtrusive, so I really want to mention this attentiveness.
In general, the restaurant is on top!
For two of us, it came out in the region of 2800 rubles per person. It's not cheap, but it's quite justified for such a restaurant. If I go to Minsk with friends or relatives again, I will definitely come back here to try other dishes!!!
It's a great place. I was choosing where to have dinner before leaving, looking for a place near the train station. The place is wonderful, charming at first sight. Delicious cuisine, as I like it - simple and refined.
We celebrated a birthday here. I really liked everything: starting from the meeting (special thanks to Angelina), ending with a surprise for the birthday boy from Stanislav! I would especially like to mention the serving of desserts! It's a wonderful place!
The best restaurant in Minsk. The service is super, the service is at the highest level. The food is just great. Great respect to the chef for the exquisite dishes of the national cuisine.
Great location, excellent cuisine, pleasant staff, top-level service. Definitely 5 out of 5!
The view from the summer veranda to the red church additionally brightens up the evening.
Very pleasant and polite hostesses and waiters, delicious food and drinks. Morse is great! Warm wine with herbs in a teapot) I recommend 👍. It's a very interesting presentation, from the appliances to the dishes themselves.
A great place with excellent national cuisine! Everything is very tasty and aesthetically pleasing! The place is so popular that I recommend booking a table in advance.
A great place in the center of Minsk. Cozy and beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, original presentation. I really liked everything, I celebrated my birthday here.
The kitchen, the views, the interior - beyond praise! It is always very tasty and beautiful. We visit regularly with our family.
However, this time the impression was spoiled. We came with my wife to have dinner on the veranda. They served quickly, the dishes were delicious and beautiful. But at 21:45 on 09/24/2024, an employee closed the roller blinds, generating obscenely loud and disgusting squeaks, blocking us a beautiful view of autumn Minsk, and hinting that it was time for us to wind down (the institution is open until 23:00). It may be a small thing, of course, but it was very, very unpleasant.
We visited a few months ago. The place is very crowded and popular. We went without reservation, had a meal for two hours, and found a place for us without any problems. However, the receptionist looked like that, and she threw the lunch menu on the table right away, without asking (although they wanted to order the main one) and walked past. Of course, we are not money purses, but still the attitude was strange. The impression was made by a very friendly waiter, who served us quickly and beautifully, and told us about all the dishes. The dishes are 8 out of 10, the administrator's ratio is 5 out of 10, the waiter is 100,000 out of 10. Anyway, I recommend that you go and try it at least for the sake of food.
Expensive, rich, delicious. Relatively meaningless. Queues, recording in advance, they don't pick up the phone, in fact I came, signed up for a certain time and went for a walk before recording. The portions are large and delicious, and the serving in some positions is interesting. The price tag is too high compared to other establishments, but not by a multiple, by one and a half times, by some positions by two. But not in 3-4 as one might expect. I think it's too much to overeat and crowd together for 200 rubles, but it's still worth it. The staff doesn't comment, the kitchen is open. Plus, the establishment is that if the waiting time is around an hour and a half, you can safely sit at the bar and be served there, not only with an appetizer, but you can have a full snack if you are few.
It's cozy, beautiful, the food is delicious, some dishes are original, the menu is interestingly decorated, the staff is polite, everything is clean and the service is good.
The best place to explore Belarusian cuisine, the waiters are polite and competent, the service is fast and beautiful, the cuisine is excellent. Lida beer is now my favorite.
We stopped by for lunch. Calm, delicious, and beautiful, I recommend you to visit. My choice is always difficult due to allergies, it was nice that the chefs got into the situation, replaced the sauces and provided delicious food.
