Both my children and I liked it very much. Initially, when I went to Klaipeda, we did not plan to visit the museum, we went there spontaneously, on the way to the beach on the spit. And they did not regret this decision at all

I really liked the museum! Inside there is an aquarium with fauna of the Baltic and Baltic lakes. Penguins and giant sturgeons impressed the children especially. An educational walk around the defensive fort. It closes at 18:00, the cafe has not been open for an hour. It is important to provide.

Compared to its former splendor, the museum is now a dull sight. The exposition of live fish shows poverty and squalor. After the first reconstruction in the 2000s, there were still quite a lot of exotic representatives of the inhabitants of the south seas and oceans. Today, only river okushki and carp are widely represented. If earlier the museum was the pride of the city, today it is the shame of Klaipeda.
