We had a rest on July 23rd, and on October 24th... everything is fine, if we hadn't liked it, we wouldn't have gone a second time!
My husband and I are over 55+ and this hotel is just for us: quiet, cozy, peaceful!The sea is close,I walked with sore joints in 10 minutes, the market,shops,canteens are all close in 15 minutes.we even walked to the center, it's very beautiful there, the Ferris wheel, children's attractions and much more, well, back by taxi 250r.(it was city day), so 200r.
This year, the room already had a mosquito net on the balcony door, cleaning every other day, the staff is responsive, solves all problems, friendly, all wishes are taken into account.There are few people on the beach, there are sun beds (300 rubles for the whole day)umbrellas, upholstered chairs are also available for a fee, a changing booth, and cafes.
The beach is clean, if there is a small storm, then the garbage is removed immediately (sticks, branches, etc.)
In general, this is a vacation for us who like silence, not parties ... although parties are in the center!
This year we will go in early September!
In October, the weather was gorgeous, the sea was calm, clear, there was no rain, and there was no intense heat!

We found it from the Internet, read reviews from others.
We called, talked, made an advance payment and arrived a few days later.
We came to Abkhazia for the first time, we were very worried...
As a result, we are very pleased that we got to this hotel. After all, we could have found another hotel, BUT we found IT!
Everything turned out to be very high quality and decent! The hotel staff surrounded us with care and attention, especially the hostess Svetlana Viktorovna! Thank her so much for everything!
It was these people who made our vacation in Abkhazia fabulous and at the same time simple. They can answer absolutely any question and offer solutions and help.

Of meat dishes, only beef dishes, and most likely not very young , very heavy dishes . For breakfast, when choosing pasta, they were served with a rum reheating in the oven, that is, yesterday's campaign. When ordering the casserole, it was served half-cooked. The phrase tea and coffee is generally something. Tea bags, coffee "makkoffe 3 in 1". How can you drink such dregs? The expediency of the balcony in the room is not clear at all. The balcony is on the sunny side, it is unrealistic to go out there, the air melts. And in the evening, the view from the balcony to the neighboring abandoned plot with grass taller than a person is not impressive at all.

I really don't know what people who write negative reviews need, but we were quite satisfied, for families with children it's the best thing. When the child got sick, the staff themselves offered to cook rice for us personally. Dinner has never been repeated in 10 days, delicious, homemade. 1. Put a mat in the shower, the tile is slippery when you soap up.
2. It is a pity that the bars on the windows are not installed. The window cannot be opened at night. The air conditioner is positioned so that you can catch a cold.
3. The numbers themselves have already been killed in three years. Of course, the visitors themselves are to blame for this. But also a tip to the cleaners, there is dust in the corners of the doors. Carpets need to be vacuumed. You can clean up a little better.
Next, mostly just the pros. Remoteness from the beach, a quiet, peaceful place, there is everything you need nearby. And most importantly, the cook Narine, who cooked us magical breakfasts and dinners. Just for the sake of her homemade dishes, I want to come back. The Lavender Hotel (new Gagra) looks quite good: well-groomed enclosed area with flowers, tiles, nice buildings. The rooms as a whole can also accommodate vacationers without any special complaints. There is a shower, a clean toilet, regular cleaning (I can only judge by my own). However, most of the staff did not leave the most pleasant impressions. Upon check-in, we had an error: the Ostrovok company did not transfer money to the hotel on time, without notifying us about it. Thus, having overcome the flight and the move, we found ourselves in front of a closed door. Svetlana, the hotel attendant, did not inform us about this in the most friendly way, as if it were our fault. She was in no hurry to take any action, she was just waiting for a call from the Island and offered to pay us directly, and for some reason an inflated price. The explanations why the cost was higher were illogical, from the category of "it's written in my computer." She communicated sharply, as if she had a complaint against us. As a result, after a few hours we got a money transfer from the intermediary and settled in. The other attendant in charge of nutrition also communicated sharply, not even always saying hello. She cooked, for my taste, very mediocre. The food for breakfast is simple: eggs, cheese, bread, sausages, pasta, scrambled eggs, packaged tea, we saw compote once. However, everything is "off the hook." The menu did not fully correspond to reality, it was served cold and was necessarily flavored with some kind of reproach. We came early, then late, then something we didn't tell her right away. They asked for coffee (it was on the breakfast menu), it turned out to be paid. She complained about something all the time. In general, all this, of course, is not critical, but I did not want to contact you once again, I still want more friendliness and smiles on vacation. By the way, I didn't like the tour from this hotel either, but that's a completely different story))

The hotel is new, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the furniture is new, the plumbing is new, still with stickers, the bathroom has a heated floor (!), There are several clothes dryers on each floor. There is a washing machine, and a kitchen for self-cooking and eating. In the future, they plan to make a dining room. Wi-Fi is available, it really works better in the corridor than in the room, but this is not a problem, there are tables for relaxing and eating in the corridor. From the hotel you can walk to novaya Gagra on foot, 7 minutes to the sea slowly, cafes nearby. We were at Mikhalych's (poisoned) and in Apatsk.
