We stayed at this hotel in early February 2025.
A very nice hotel with an amazing view of the sea! A huge plus of this hotel is that EVERY room has a sea view! The hotel has a swimming pool and a summer area with tables, as well as a descent to the sea (although you need to go down the cliff using the old stairs, but the view is great). An employee of Lara Otel warned us that the administration does not bear any responsibility for the incidents on this beach, because it does not belong to the hotel. That is, this is not a public beach, there are a lot of huge rocks on the shore.
Please note that there is no hammam or sauna in the hotel, although we thought there was from the photos.
The breakfasts here are not very diverse, but there are all the most popular ones - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or omelets, vegetables, herbs, bread, beans, one type of sausage or sausages, as well as fruits. It's a pity that there are no sweets, except for various jams, but there are several of them.
There are a lot of kitties living on the territory, which we actively petted and fed))
But the number: we lived on the 5th floor (if you look from the sea, it's the seventh in a row), the view was great! Please note that there is a construction site to the left of the hotel, but it did not interfere with our sounds in any way. The rooms, as they say, need updating, the rooms and furniture are a little shabby. But we didn't come to sit in the room, but to travel and walk, so we left after breakfast and returned after 10 p.m., so it was super cool for us!!!
The room was cool, there are no heating systems (but we were ready for this when coming to Turkey in winter), and on the second day from It started raining on four, and the rest of the time there was a deluge on our balcony. There was only the roof above us, and apparently, water was accumulating on it, which flowed down to us through numerous cracks in the balcony ceiling. Thank God it was just on the balcony, not in the room, but we opened the balcony, it turns out, only on the first day. It's not very pleasant. But I repeat, we didn't stay in the room around the clock, so our impression didn't spoil much.
When we left the room, we hung a "do not disturb" sign, hoping that we would not be cleaned. We didn't have any cleaning as such, but they changed the trash can on the first day anyway. I don't even know if this is a plus or a minus, make your own conclusion))))
We are happy with our stay at Lara Otel and recommend it to those who want to wake up in the morning with breathtaking views and pet a lot of cats)
If you want to spoil your vacation, welcome.
It's a very old hotel. The entire hotel needs to be renovated. Terrible beds. Leaky bed linen. The lack of sockets, only 2 pieces per room.
Someone came up with the idea to put the main light switch under the pillow! Yes, it sounds strange, but it's true. During the night, the lights were turned on 5 times while stirring)
There is no ventilation in the sanitary units. If the door is closed, a terrible smell appears in 3-4 hours. Sl-but there are no air fresheners either. In general, it's a complete horror)
The hotel has a restaurant. The prices look like Gordon Ramsay himself cooks there. Even Michelin-starred restaurants in Istanbul are nervously inferior to them in terms of pricing.
It is forbidden to bring anything into the hotel. "We have everything, buy from us"
The hotel participates in dental programs. Because of this, 80% of the guests are British who have come to fix their teeth.
Oh, yeah. You can smoke anywhere in the hotel.…
The hotel has an abandoned sandy beach. The beach is covered in garbage. The descent to it is not serviced, and is littered with huge boulders (apparently there was some kind of landslide). When going down to him, take care of your feet)
In general, I will not recommend this hotel in any case.
In fact, we only spent the night in it, but those nights were terrible) tobacco smoke is always blowing from the open window, and the bed wants the best.
I'll give you one star for the view. The view is beautiful. But alas, this is not the merit of the hotel)
And, also, be careful with the mini-bar) at the check-out, you will be charged money even for feminine hygiene products.
