An old hotel, for those who want to save money. 90% of visitors are Hindus and Filipinos. Breakfast is for three, and lunch is very much for an amateur. Cleanliness in the rooms is also a C-grade. The hotel costs four stars, but there are actually two.
I was in 2016 . With my mom and brother . We really liked it. Service staff and food .
Especially in the hotel we did not sit, we just came to sleep))) For this reason , there was no time to look for cons . Some advantages .
Only if you really want to save money. Decent clean rooms. But the water supply and sewerage in the rooms are in very poor condition. Two numbers were changed. In the first there was no pressure in the soul; they could not do it. Moved to another one. And there the water in the shower did not go away.
But there is an excellent Filipino restaurant in the building. Very tasty. They took both breakfast and dinner.
The hotel is located in the cheapest area of Dubai called Deira. There is only shawarma and fast food around, and most of the residents are visiting Pakistanis, Indians, Asians. In principle, this does not particularly interfere with living and going wherever you want, because a big plus is the location of two metro stations Union and Alrigga. You can get to almost anywhere in Dubai by metro. The food in the hotel itself is not even bad, personally I would even say that it is quite tasty. The dining room is really small, but that's okay. They feed breakfast and dinner (for a fee, of course), namely, dinner for one person costs 35 dirhams, which is about 700 rubles in rubles. Buffet, delicious food, there is meat, fish and chicken. In short, for this money, even in an area like Deira, it's normal not to eat in any cafe, so I think that such a price for an unlimited dinner is very acceptable. Of the pros, there is a hefty Algultar shopping center right next to the Hotel (but this is not the exact name, it sounds like this), but it was not interesting to me as a shopping center, for me the interest was the Carrefour supermarket, there are normal prices and a whole carcass of smoked chicken is sold there for 10 dirhams, which is about 200r. So when I really wanted to eat (it was closer to night) I went there and took this chicken).
Also among the advantages is a gym, in fact it is very small, but it is enough for rest to keep fit.
The pool is present, on the roof, so clean to dive and lie on the sun beds, a regular pool. But let's take it to the pros, it's good that it exists at all.
Now from the minuses, a very expensive hotel, claims to be 4 stars, but if someone has vacationed in Turkey or in Asian countries in hotels from 4 stars, then this hotel is a maximum of 3 stars. But this is Dubai, one of the most expensive cities in the world, because such a cost, you need to understand it. But the biggest disadvantage in my opinion is the lack of balconies in the hotel, there are no balconies in any hotel room, this is complete bullshit. And the view from the hotel is shitty, to put it mildly, there are dirty buildings around, and a shawarma.
There are not too many places nearby where you can go and light up. All engines are mainly in the center of Dubai, near the Dubai Mall.
Conclusion.
Positive:
Two metro stations nearby,
the location is 10 minutes from the airport,
Swimming pool,
Gym,
Friendly staff,
Good food at the hotel for reasonable money.
Minuses :
The cost is expensive (for such money it is better to take 3 stars but in the center of Dubai, and even better to rent an apartment on the airnbnb website). For 12 days, the standard room came out 65 thousand rubles with breakfast, including taxes and fees,
The area is the poorest,
There are no balconies.
Well, that's how it is. I hope my review will help someone.
