Laboda (oset. Lemboda) is one of the peaks North Ossetia (4320 m.), located between the Shtula pass (in the west) and the Karaugom glacier (in the east). One of the peaks of the main ridge of the Greater Caucasus, near the source of the Rioni River. The mountain is composed of crystalline rocks, its slopes are pitted with caries, dissected by deep cracks and avalanche troughs. There is a glacier on Mount Laboda Masota, where the Urukh River originates.
