The staff is very polite, the national atmosphere with rich colors. Waiting time is a bit long in rush hours. For tourists I would recommend being vigilant for the price of orders because I met different prices for the same order in the recipe. My overall mark is 9/10
Very cozy atmosphere, good European cuisine, convenient location in the center, but:
the order of tea with lemon and sugar - brought the usual ... okay, maybe the language barrier
order lagman (which is not fried) brought pasta ... then another waiter came up and tried to explain that it was by mistake because the waiter is new ... I did not want to spoil the evening therefore, I thought not to pay attention, but the lagman costs 40’000 soums (with a tail), and already the pasta is 80’000, a very convenient mistake, they apologized and added my account …
I tried to pay the uzcard bill, and today the terminal does not work, but visa, master card, union pay is serviced ... in one of the major tourist cities, the possibility of paying with a card of the national payment system does not work ... but I was offered to make a transfer via click ... and an ATM nearby
It seems to be a decent place, a good atmosphere, beautiful dishes, and service at the dining room level
The crown of the evening: the administrator, having received confirmation that the staff had somehow miraculously confused lagman pancake pasta, argued "well, these are the waiters"... as if I brought my waiters and a map of a fictional system
So the wonderful and beautiful Samarkand has greatly tarnished its reputation
Briefly about the main thing purely for yourself (the smoking room is still alive ...) - the hookah is wonderful!
The main thing is a short correspondence:
"Delicious, but very expensive.
A typical place for tourists to divorce, pecking at all sorts of tinsel.
All the same things can be obtained 10 times cheaper, and this is not a joke" (madace Taster level 4 on April 29).
The official response on June 8:
"Dear madace, thank you for your feedback on visiting our Labi G'or company.
We appreciate your assessment and will pay attention to your comments about the price.
Our goal is to provide our customers with high-quality service and products.
We hope that you will visit us again and see improvements.
Thank you for sharing your visit experience."
And I will also thank you for the experience of visiting
["Delicious, but very expensive"]...
The restaurant is located near Registan, and of course in the evening, after walking, attracts tourists with lights and interior. Fusion cuisine: everything that can be mixed to please tourists is mixed. It would be better, of course, to have national cuisine or European cuisine in its purest form. But you can eat. Everything is fresh and hot. Some dishes are small portions, and some are too large.
The traffic in the evening is unrealistically high and the waiters run around, not always having time to respond to requests. Although, for such an emergency, they cope.
In Moscow, I would not choose such an institution for food, but in Samarkand – quite. A solid three plus!
A wonderful cozy place! Amazing wooden veranda on the second floor! Very tasty pilaf, samsa is just a bomb! A good hookah, but the musician Shavkat deserves separate words, he has an amazing repertoire, he gets goosebumps with words from songs! I highly recommend everyone to go there; it's right in the heart of Samarkand!!opposite Registan Square! My favorite!!!
A restaurant with an "above average" price segment.
Delicious cuisine.
A wonderful "male" service.
Good location.
I take off 1 star for the following situation:
I'm sitting, eating, there's glass between the veranda and the hall. And then. A cleaner just hovers over me on the other side of the glass, and intensively begins to wash this glass - literally in my plate. 😂
Thank you. I laughed heartily. I thought it would be the best rest in Uzbekistan. But no. 😂
For a plate of pilaf (0.7) and lemonade (jug) I gave away 800,000 soums
Good time of day. We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel. And they didn't regret it.
A large menu. Everything is very tasty. Especially kebabs and lagman. My daughter liked the lentil soup. Nice interior. Excellent staff.
The prices are not small, but they are not off the scale.
The only negative is the service fee of 15%.
By the way, it is a very convenient location. Near Registan Square.
I definitely recommend it.
If you want to have a snack near Rigistan Square, then here you are. The place is colorful. The food is delicious. You can sit on the trestle beds with a dastorkhan and fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this place. We rested in Samarkand for several days and visited many different establishments and I wanted to celebrate it. Barbecue for every taste. The beer is delicious. The wine list is decent. Live music in the evenings. Service for 5. Attentive waiters.
Delicious and close to the main square.
The food was brought quickly. The service is good, the wishes were taken into account. The only thing is that the soup was too salty and the price seems to be too high. But the menu is large, there is not only local cuisine - it pleases/ One of the most expensive dinners turned out for the entire trip to Uzbekistan - the mark-up for the location is obvious, but still not expensive compared to Moscow 😅👌
Great place! Nice interior, good service, friendly staff! The food is very tasty, a wide variety of national dishes and more! I really liked the kebab and manti! I recommend it to everyone
This is the first restaurant we visited in Samarkand. It is a very beautiful, atmospheric place.
The interior is gorgeous. Beautiful table setting.
A varied menu, delicious dishes.
Not cheap, but price/quality👌
A wonderful place! The dishes are delicious, the portions are large. It is located in the very center next to Registan Square. A lot of people. We were in the evening and in the afternoon. We sat outside in the evening, and on the second visit - on sofas on the second floor, where there is a large veranda. The service is a bit long, but everything is fresh and the cuisine is decent.
During three days in Samarkand, we visited Labi Gor twice and everyone was satisfied: a pleasant pilaf with soft meat and yellow carrots (though without quail eggs), delicious meat dishes, warm salads and vegetable cuts.
The prices are slightly higher than the average in the city, but the quality of the dishes is worth it. If you don't tin and don't take the 170k medallions, you can be quite satisfied with the receipt too)))
An important tip is to give up the tortillas, otherwise there is a risk of not being able to cope with the portion.
When visiting Registan, it is impossible not to notice this wonderful institution, which stands out for its oriental design and an open veranda with wonderful views. The food is wonderful, you can just lick your fingers, special thanks to the chefs. For me personally, the menu in three languages was a pleasant plus, it would seem a trifle, but it is such a trifle that shows the friendliness and hospitality of the institution. I would like to mention the staff separately, the young waiters work quickly, clean and prepare the tables well, talk competently and are very polite. The hall is being closely watched, there is no need for anyone to wave their hands, shout or get up and look for them. In general, this place can be safely recommended for a pleasant stay and a delicious meal after a walk around the Registan.
A beautiful presentation of delicious dishes. It is a very atmospheric place, the menu is varied, the service is fast despite the number of guests in the hall. There is a terrace with a beautiful view
It's a wonderful place. I visited it for the first time 18 years ago. Then everything was delicious and hospitable. And here I am again. Excellent service, delicious cuisine, everything remains as before) the only drawback is one toilet for a fairly large institution (
The first place we visited when we arrived in Samarkand from Russia was this cafe! We ordered Lagman with flatbread and tea. It is very tasty and satisfying! And most importantly, it is not expensive! It's a great place and it's located opposite Registan Square! It is a picturesque and very beautiful place!
I give a fair comparative assessment with other places. There is no service in general, a lot of waiters go, but where and for what is not clear. For food. We ordered mantas with beef, but turned out to be with beef but with the taste of mutton, we took 2 types of meat and brought pure sheep because someone stole it.
The price of food is higher than in the other that were, alcohol is many times more expensive. In general, we had a snack and ran away from there, although the atmosphere is good. I definitely wouldn't have gone next time. Samarkand is famous for its food, but this place is definitely not for food connoisseurs. We didn't like it.
A star for the location, for the setting, and another one for the food, since the other dishes were not bad.
There was a
large company of 10 people on 4.01.25.
It was warm and beautiful, and the check was divided among the families.
Meal.
The pilaf is terrible.
Lagman +-
Salad with crispy eggplant fire.
The Maso is good.
Staff relations are terrible.
The overall impression:
It's beautiful and delicious, but not all the positions.
Expensive - does not match the quality.
The staff does not work well and pays a 15% fee at the same time.
You can go in, but be prepared and attentive!
We were visiting the city and decided to take a look at this place, I really liked the interior. The second floor is especially beautiful. We haven't tried it much, but it's generally delicious. We liked it. You can sit not only at the tables, but also in Turkish. Prices are reasonable. I'm surprised every time there's a separate service fee, even though it's a pretty penny. A normal cafe.
We do not recommend it, there is no kitchen, we ordered pilaf, the rice was dry and a very small portion. the atmosphere is very colorful, but the food is terrible. (21.03.2023)
Just the other day (02/20/2025) we were back at this establishment on the first and second floors. There was a European kitchen on the second floor, everything was basically delicious, the portion was average. But what surprised us was that they took the money for the music.(10,000 soums) P.S. this is not live music, it was just playing in the background.
There is more national cuisine on the ground floor. We wanted to try pilaf, as all the pilaf centers were already closed. they brought the menu and scored. We just sat and waited for 10-12 minutes. They decided to leave without waiting. In the hall, the man invited me back. We informed him that we had already been there and had been forgotten about. A minute later, he literally started yelling at the staff (obscenities) for not serving people.
the food itself was not bad, the meat in the pilaf was tender and soft.
The design is oriental. A kitchen with a focus on European cuisine. Plateaus with kebabs and some snacks look like from an ordinary pub in Moscow. As such, there is very little self-catering on the menu. The staff is not interested in you at all. They can come and pick up the menu from your table (when you are still reading it, for another table).
They didn't even stay there and left. If you have come for the delicious local cuisine and the hospitality of the locals, then you definitely are not here.
A great place with polite and attentive staff, a very interesting interior, you feel comfortable and comfortable. Delicious and varied cuisine, you don't have to wait long
The restaurant is located in the center of Registan Street. Two different floors plus a veranda on the street. The menu is varied, and most importantly with local dishes. They were coming here for pilaf. He is divine. It was cooked in front of us for 50 minutes, and not burnt, as they do in Moscow. Not to mention the barbecue. It melts in your mouth. I think the tortilla is the best in the city. The soups are very tasty. The portions are huge. Service for 5 days. Still, there were not enough recommendations. They just brought it and that's it. Prices are the same as in other restaurants of the Registan level and so on. The three of them ate 1,2 kebabs with wine for 4,500 rubles. What is important is that they accept Union Pay. I recommend.
A very cool and delicious place in Samarkand❤️ It's cool inside in summer))) The food is super tasty, especially pilaf👌🏻 The portions are very large and the prices are very good!
For tourists, the prices are very high by local standards, but the cuisine is quite good, plus it is beautiful and close to the Registan, so I am satisfied. There is alcohol) I liked the Dali wine.
They work on the stream. There are a lot of people, because the place is tourist. If you like quieter places, then not here. Clear. The cuisine is delicious, but not super "wow". The service is fast. The dishes have not been waiting for a long time .
It is a very cozy and picturesque place . The food is also top notch, there is both local and European cuisine
We highly recommend going up to the second floor, as there will be an opportunity not only to have a delicious meal on the couch, but also to enjoy live music and a wonderful view of the city
I would also like to note the very professional work of the staff, the dishes were brought quickly!!!
I liked the hotel, clean, good service, buffet breakfast (great). Registan, cafes, shops are within walking distance. I advise you to choose this hotel.
As soon as we entered (it was New Year's Eve), we were told that there were no empty seats on the ground floor. We were sent to the second one, where they gave us a menu, BUT we had to order at least one set or dish from the New Year's menu, the cost was 300,000 soums, we immediately refused. After that, we were taken to the first floor, where there are a lot of empty seats.
Now for the dishes, everything is bad here too
1. I didn't like borscht, instead of chicken, they added cartilage and fat
2. Noodles with chicken, I also didn't like it. Judging by the taste, a "cube" or another flavor enhancer was added, as well as a lot of salt.
3. Prices: quite expensive, in general, I do NOT recommend it, thank you!
Everything is great, the food is great, the staff is on top! Everything except expensive hookahs, there is a place where it is 3 times cheaper and much more pleasant to sit and relax.
As bad as it gets. Here you will find neither local flavor / national cuisine, nor delicious and fresh food. It seems that this place is needed only to bring tourists here by "arrangement". Soup made from obviously stale meat. Tea with dried lemon and tap water. There is smoking in the establishment, so you will probably also enjoy the smell of tobacco. And don't forget about the traditional 15% service fee!
A spacious modern restaurant in the historical center. The menu is large, traditional dishes. The food is delicious. The service is at a high level. The prices are acceptable.
I really liked the price, the service, the variety and the scale of goodies 😃 everything is delicious and fresh. It is very cozy and beautiful in all areas of the restaurant. The staff is very polite. The dishes are very beautiful national. Pilaf and manta rays are a delight!
I recommend it to lovers of oriental style. The kitchen is good, but the prices bite. There are places for large companies as well. Pigeons walk in the restaurant, cupcakes sing. East.
A beautiful place near the Registon attracted our attention, we decided to look in, the waiter did not immediately like that we did not want to sit at the table with crumbs from previous visitors, so he just pulled off the tablecloth in front of our noses
We chose a dish from the chef, in our understanding - they are proud of this dish, the best they can offer
Pomegranate, eggs, vegetables, meat in cream cheese actually turned out to be piggy. It became clear why there were so few guests and a lot of half-eaten dishes
A hookah for 300,000? They did not check the quality, because the price tag of the best is around 200,000 in the very center of Tashkent.
And in the end, we paid a check with music, and there was no live music!
We do not recommend going up to the 2nd floor
It is better to go downstairs and heartily eat real Samarkand pilaf on the 1st floor
