I had to be a guest of the Kyzyl-Zhar hotel for several days. The impression is mostly positive, but there are disadvantages. The room was booked two weeks in advance, but problems arose, it turned out that the reservation was not valid, but the issue was resolved quickly, they offered the 5th floor, with Windows on the city garden. The room is standard 2-bed, in the evenings and part of the night due to the presence of several cafes, loud music on the street, windows cannot be closed, it is hot. Cleaning once a day in the afternoon, linen change every 3 days. Breakfast coupons are issued at the cafe on the 3rd floor, but the freshness of the dishes is questionable, there is no refrigerator, and dishes from the restaurant are not clean dishes. There is a taxi service at the reception desk.

I stayed in Kyzyl-Zhar for three days, during the New Year holidays. An ordinary Soviet hotel. The decoration on the ground floor is super, but on the floors there is a complete USSR.
But the rooms are cleaned daily! The linen is clean. The room (single) has a TV, a small refrigerator, a bed, a chair, a table, a bedside table, a built-in locker like in dorms. A brush and a shoe cloth are in the locker. There is a carpet on the floor. The bathroom in the room is full. However, the water flows by a thread (they probably save so much). There are also three towels in the room: for hands, feet and a large bath towel. Disposable slippers.
The windows are plastic, but of the first or second generation. There is no smell of any seven-chamber profile. If it's -28 outside and the wind is cold, then it blows from the window. But the blanket in the room is very warm!
Until 2 a.m., you can hear a little music from the restaurant on the ground floor. But it does not affect the nerves and does not affect sleep.
WiFi in the rooms. The staff is friendly. There is a 24-hour buffet on the fifth floor.
The hotel is located in the very center of Petropavlovsk.
I liked the hotel.
