Good afternoon, friends!
We lived in Sukhum, by car to the thermal spring 30 km away, close. We went with the children, it's better in the late afternoon, fewer people and not so hot, August. We were already at around 7 pm there, first the "mud" procedure, for us adults recovery, for children joy! They laughed until they cried, then they washed themselves off under the shower)))
Next, hot thermal pools and a barrel of cold water were waiting for us)
We bought up, had a shower massage, got healthier, and went home - in the evening a skate was waiting for us. There is one thing true, but the children were poisoned, since we were apparently disinfected by adults, and the kids swallowed water, they had a fever and vomiting for a couple of days.
Everything ended well, there were a lot of impressions after visiting the Kyndyg thermal spring, I'll give you a five!

It's not really bad, but ...
two policemen approached the vacationing girls and charged them for drinking alcoholic beverages. Everything seems to be legal and yet there are nuances.
1) When making out the protocol, the brand and strength of alcohol indicated on the label are indicated (It was not observed).
The girls opened a one and a half liter bottle with a dark colored liquid. Without stickers or any signs that it's alcohol. There was no examination, no violation of movement coordination, no unstable poses, and even more so no incoherent speech.
Instead, there was a policeman's statement: "Am I a moron?! I don't know what the wine looks like. I put it myself every year ..."
That is, there was no fact of alcoholic intoxication ...
2) Information about a fine of 1000 rubles for drinking alcoholic beverages is not in full view of vacationers. It's there, of course, but on the changing booth by the last pool. A police officer showed it to me (who refused to give me his name), after asking about the information. So would I (as well as any vacationer) I would hardly have seen this information myself.
Usually, the rules of the visit are posted in a prominent place at the entrance to the territory.
3) The money was put in the pocket of "businessmen in uniform", although this is prohibited by law. Employees could write out a receipt, but they had no right to take money as a bribe.
In short, engage in extortion!
In general, I think that we could limit ourselves to an oral remark, given the situation. It is a pity that the thirst for profit for some employees of internal organs is higher, hospitality and honor of the uniform!

We visited this source in December. I really liked it. There are not many people, everything is at our disposal. There is a place to change clothes. 4 pools, though they didn't go on mud. Because there was no sun, it would not have dried up. We went swimming, got drunk on tea🤓beauty

There is absolutely no infrastructure, half-dead palm trees on the territory, swimming pools with rusty railings with fittings and floating moss, come, take a dip for half an hour and go on, there are no normal changing rooms, Wi-Fi is only at the checkpoint (this is for tourists)

We had a rest in May 2023.
We came to the hot springs from Gagra.
The journey takes 2 hours in one direction.
I liked the sources very much. Three pools of different temperatures, we swam in the pool, then anointed ourselves with mud. The weather was amazing.
There was no one at the springs except us. It was bliss.
After that, we ate ice cream at the bar and went home rested.
I advise everyone to visit this place.

There are several sources, but there are two with hydro massage. One by the road (considered newer) and the second in the area of the eucalyptus grove.
Each has four pools with different water temperatures. Natural hydro massage, also with different temperatures and the force of the falling jet. A great massage.
In the thermal springs by the road in the pools of mud, it is very unpleasant to swim.
The second one with a eucalyptus grove is saddened by the presence of dogs.
But the result of hydro massage and warm pools, especially in bad weather, are a delight.

There are many changing rooms, there is a toilet, you can buy khachapuri with cheese, homemade potatoes, and have a drink. Towels and slippers are also sold. The pass is not expensive. Before entering the territory, the man was selling tangerines, kumquat, wine, chacha. Gentrification is taking place on the territory, the service will be ready for the season

Thermal springs with radon water with a temperature of 40-55 degrees. There are 3 swimming pools on the territory, a hydro massage in the form of water falling from a height and a place for spreading mud. The place is not gentrified: a storage room like in ordinary supermarkets (it's scary to leave valuables, no one is watching, you can open it with a screwdriver), the place of descent to the mud is not convenient, you can wash off the dirt only under cold water. In general, there is no civilization! You can go once to check out the flavor. But I won't go a second time for sure!

The paths are dirty, there is nothing to clean.
Therapeutic mud is just a pit with mud of questionable content.
Cats and dogs walk around the territory, the sanitation is complete.
I paid for the entrance, changed my clothes in a wooden box with a dirty floor from the Soviet Union, went to the toilet on the territory, and it's paid! Where should I carry the money??
As the USSR left a legacy, so they use it just to earn money…
