The water is very dirty, there are no sanitary days. The water does not drain and the bottom is not cleaned. Ankle-deep mud. There are few hooks in the booths. We were forbidden to come in with backgammon, and friends with a thermos of tea. The administrator's attitude is boorish. If possible, it is better to go to Kyndyk-2. The price is the same, but there are fewer people, the water in the pools is transparent!!!

We visited this particular source last year, in 2022. My impressions were mixed. I'll start with parking: there is a clearing in front of the entrance to the spring, you drive in, park and ... suddenly there is a man who declares himself a parking guard and offers to pay for it. There is, of course, a choice: start pumping rights, demand documents, on the basis of which parking is paid... But then you have to leave the car here and go to the source. Well, it's not expensive, 200 rubles in 2022.
The entrance to the territory of the source was 300 rubles per person. At the same time, it is worth noting that this is perhaps the most well-groomed and developed source in terms of infrastructure: there is a cafe, you can buy water, ice cream, you can eat. If, of course, there are places. Because at the same time, it is also the most visited source. There were three others: they were smaller, there was less entertainment, but there were also many times fewer people.
So, about everyday life: you will have to leave your things right on the benches around the pools, on hooks. Therefore, grab a bag or a bag. There is a luggage room, but we did not use it. There are changing rooms.
There are juices that beat from a decent height, benches under them, you can put any part of the body under the stream. There are several pools with water of different temperatures.
Excursions are actively carried to this source, so there are a lot of people, well, a lot. It might scare someone away.
The water is greenish in color. In general, everything is somewhat "Soviet-style", if you understand. Therefore, you need to be prepared for the fact that this is not Karlovy Vary or Budapest with its baths. Everything is a little different. Be prepared for simplicity and minimalism.

I didn't understand why they write good reviews here.... It's a nightmare, really. It was March 5th, 2024. The smell of concrete is everywhere. The absolute unkemptness of the place. There are a lot of algae floating in the water like poop - if you catch them with a net at least once a week, it would be great. The railings on the slopes to the pools are all in cement, unfinished. The sides in the pools are also just piles of cement, well, you can make it neater and more convenient for people, but no, they are too lazy. There is no shower either, then wash off the algae. The water is warm, in different pools of different temperatures. But it is extremely unpleasant to enter the pools. I compare it with thermal baths in the Caucasus - even the free shameless baths are made more carefully.
I do not recommend visiting until they bring you to a decent appearance.

The place itself is great, you can spend time for your health, one day we arrived, we found out how long they work, they said that until 20 o'clock, the next day we arrived at 18:30, we thought an hour and a half would be enough for us, but at 19:30 they started shouting into a megaphone that we were closing, turned off the hydro shower, started blinking because it was impossible to change clothes, and this one still goes to the mouthpiece, they say everything is on the way out, I'm talking at the checkout, you said yesterday that you work until 20 o'clock, and she answered me- I have to sit here until ten!!!

On the second day, we learned about Kyndyg2. Let's go there. There are significantly fewer people, the pools are better equipped, and in general everything is cleaner and more pleasant!!
The administration's advice is to organize the rental of towels and the sale of towels (quality standards at cost standards).
And make the shop with drinks and snacks a wider assortment!!

I will not say about the medicinal properties of the source, it is better to consult a doctor. But as a relaxation, it's worth a try. It is better to get there not by sightseeing transport, but on your own, because in this case no one is in a hurry and you can choose a convenient time to visit. We preferred the evening time, there are fewer people and the sun is not so scorching.

Changing clothes outside in winter is still a pleasure, making a warm place with changing rooms and hair dryers for women. The place is nice, crowded. There are many parents with children. We ordered an excursion from Sukhum. We were there for 1.30hours. We managed to visit all the pools and natural showers. There was enough time, but we decided for ourselves that the next time we come to Abkhazia, we will go on our own. The bus runs from the market.The guys who lived next to us rented a car and had fun.
There are storage rooms for things. Cafes, souvenir shops. Drive safely, you will like it.
