It's a great place! The only thing that is needed for some kind of result is a sanatorium in this place and a course of treatment. I hope that someday this place will be developed and will really benefit people, as originally planned
Admission is 300 rubles. there are minibuses from Sukhum that will take you to the entrance. Even if you don't have a towel with you, you can rent one. There are 4 cascading pools and a waterfall of water from 5 meters high from pipes. Each pool has its own temperature, as you like it here. From 25 to 45 degrees. In itself, the creation of nature is gorgeous. According to human improvement, make no mistake, this is not a luxury resort, but it is already clear at the entrance price. There are changing booths, sometimes without workers' locks, dirt on the floor and wet. It is almost impossible to put on trousers without wetting the legs, I found a plastic chair and brought it into the locker room, standing on a chair, you can only change cleanly). My husband was guarding the door, as the latch did not work. Winter holidays in hot springs are especially pleasant, and even healthier. But there is no beauty there, everything is like in Soviet times, practical, but not beautiful.
We liked everything.
Of course, this is not for those who are waiting for 5 stars, everything is much simpler.
The only thing I would like to fix is to make a more convenient place where dirt is smeared, otherwise you have to scoop with a bucket.. Well, in the pools, algae strain a little... But on the whole, everything is fine. If there is an opportunity, we will definitely come to undergo a course of procedures. Now they lived far away, they couldn't get around....
In recent years, the place has been beautifully equipped and has become more beautiful and convenient. I often visit Sukhumi for work, I visit hot springs every time I come.
We traveled with our family in sunny Abkhazia and decided to visit the hot springs. In general, it's not bad, several pools with water of different temperatures, hydro massage, therapeutic mud.
There is a "symbolic" parking, which is typical for all the sights of Abkhazia. There are cafes on the territory of the complex. You can kill a day with the kids.
We drove for several days in a row. The territory is ennobled. There are cafes, you can eat, the prices really bite. The source itself is cool. Four hot pools on site. One of them is hot, the others are cooler.
There is almost no dirt as such. But we had enough.
The only drawback is that the pools are practically not cleaned. The walls were slimy and with algae.
Heat. 300 rubles. for the whole day. It takes 3 hours by car from Adler. It is better to visit from autumn to spring, so that there is a contrast. I recommend.
Good afternoon, dear reader of this review. I managed to visit this place in Abkhazia in the spring of 2024. First, I will describe the advantages: location, parking, the fact that there are small cafes on the territory where you can drink tea and taste delicious pies. Also, of course, the very source where you can get a good massage with adjusted water. We also smeared ourselves with clay. However, then they washed it off for a long time. There are a lot of changing rooms and even smoking areas. Of the disadvantages, it takes a very long time to wash your swimming trunks. It is better not to get into the pool in light-colored swimsuits or bathing suits, otherwise you will not take off your clothes later.
This is a separate story, this source is completely different from the others. Everything here has been carefully equipped so as to minimally offend nature. Pools with warm water are not familiar to us, there are stones under our feet at the bottom of them, the frame of the pool is made of wood. This year, there are more convenient locker rooms and places to store personal items. Not lockers, but just spacious gazebos with hangers. There is a cafe at the entrance and more than one with delicious food.
This magical place gave us a real summer in early spring! Since February 25, we have been going to Kyndyg for 10 days in a row to the hot springs. Swimming pools, hydro massage, eucalyptus trees are an excellent wellness effect. Attentive staff, comfortable changing rooms. You can also buy food, drinks, swimsuits, towels here. Clear. Atmospheric. Great!
I really liked it at the source. Pools to choose from, wherever your heart desires. And we had a very good lunch at the cafe. The prices are reasonable. It was very well thought out that you can spend and relax all day in this place
The spring is a forty-minute drive from Sukhum, entrance is paid - 300 rubles per person, several pools with hot and warm water, beds on which warm water falls from a height for massage, there are a lot of people, but it does not bother. On the territory of a cafe with adequate prices.
Hello everyone. Visited in October 2023 , normal entertainment for cloudy weather, this is really a natural geyser bursting from the ground, everything is visible at the entrance. Entrance is paid 300r. per person, car Parking or luggage storage 50r.I wanted to leave the docks in the storage room, but when I saw simple boxes in the store, I changed my mind, drove the rented car to the paid one, closed the docks in the trunk. Four pools with thermal water, in the first 43 ° C you go in for the first time (the heart beats) hot, the next ones are gradually cooler because they drain from the first one. The pools are concrete, the bottom is pebbles, aluminum stairs are sharp from below (I got hurt in the hot). There are few changing rooms, dirty, wet, it's kapets, then you leave your things in a bag on hooks, anyone can come up with everything on trust, your money and phone, one plus two uniformed policemen are on duty, walking around the territory, watching. The toilet is paid 10p. There are cafes at the entrance. It is better to visit before 16h because then people go by bus. We were driving from Gagra (about 100km), we rented a car, I think it's cheaper and without fuss, no one is drowning, he is his own master
In parallel, we visited the temple in the village of Illora, drove through remote villages (confused 2Gissuka) with abandoned military equipment and graves in the courtyards of residential buildings (perhaps a tradition).
Would you go again? I think not, for the first time yes, it's interesting especially in bad weather.
I would really like the mud springs to be improved and convenient to use. That wild swamp with sedge is not something that can be presented to tourists.
It's a great place! A geyser with boiling water beats straight out of the ground and, distributed according to complaints, spreads into various pools with different temperatures. I was in the off-season, the cool air and the hot spring complement each other perfectly, in summer I think it will be very hot there.
I don't even know what to say, for those who have skin and joint problems, it will probably come in, but only if a lot of people come early in the morning, for lunch, it turns out a lot of people in a warm bath, so-so feeling
A source of hydrogen sulfide water, good for health. Just do not go into boiling water and under hot hydromassage - it has a bad effect on facial wrinkles.
The pools with an average temperature are just fine, there is a positive effect.
I visited this place for the first time, although this is not the first time in Abkhazia. It's beautiful, the springs are healing, of course you need to spend more than one day on them and swim.
The source is excellent. Admission last year was 300 rubles per person, even for 1 hour, even for the whole day. Apparently, it is difficult for them to track the time of the visit without electronic bracelets. There are no benefits. The water is very hot, the pools are colder. The mud puddle is big, there is enough dirt for everyone. There is a safe for personal belongings. There is a cafe, the prices are normal, the food is delicious. However, there are a lot of flies flying over the food, it is not easy to eat and drive away flies at the same time.
We peed here in bad weather. The water is divinely hot ) baths vary in water temperatures, there is a bathtub with very cold water, a hydro massage "shower". We didn't get any therapeutic mud, apparently they dug it all out during the season)
I was impressed by the source, it's really natural and the water has useful properties... I ADVISE people with cardiovascular problems and people with hypertension to ABSTAIN...
It is hot in summer, and it is best to visit in autumn and winter. There are a lot of eucalyptus trees around, the most valuable thing here is nature and water, you do not need to expect comfort from Abkhazia, clean air and wellness will be 100%.
Of the minuses, small cabins for changing clothes, a locker where you can put a bag or valuables costs 50 rubles, of the pluses an unusual place, several pools from thermal baths, the water in one is even hot, there are barrels of ice water, there is also a mud spring, parking is paid 50 or 100 rubles per car, entrance 300, on the territory you can have a snack or drink warming drinks, but for your money
I am pleasantly surprised by the infrastructure and the number of pools. The whole family liked it. Of course, it is better to come for half a day to not only try it, but also enjoy it.
I really liked this source. The water in the pools is almost the same temperature - warm. It's almost hot in one pool. There is not enough pool with more flowing water than in the others. But for lovers of cooler water, there are barrels of fresh cold water where you can plunge.
The depth of the pools is not great - an adult can stand still.
I especially liked the hydro massage shower.
There is not enough free toilet and hair dryers.
There are shops on site with delicious mulled wine, pastries, etc. Sellers can "distribute " Wi-Fi and accept payment by transfer to Russian bank cards. And also to rent a hair dryer.
I think we need to open 3 more pools, because they carry sightseeing buses, preferably on a weekday, there are not enough locker rooms, and so the mulled wine is cool. It would be nice to open hotels nearby so that it is fashionable to stay the night and get high, there was only one, we stayed in it, there were no more places.
The source is located right in the village of Kyndyg. The spring is just around the corner from almost any guest house. There is a parking lot at the entrance to the territory of the spring. Parking is paid. Today it is 50 rubles. Nearby, and practically in the parking lot, you can buy fruits.
The entrance to the source is also paid. 300 rubles per person. I didn't pay attention to whether there is a discount for children. But most likely there is. There is a luggage storage on the territory of the spring, there are small shops where you can buy drinks, sweets and souvenirs. It is possible, if you forgot, to rent a towel. There is a cafe. But it only works in summer and autumn.
There are four swimming pools on the territory. Rubber mats are laid between the pools. There is a hydro massage. Through 20 troughs, warm water falls from a height. It's a pretty pleasant procedure. Those who wish can smear themselves with mud. There is such a pleasure here!
On the negative side, this is something that is very crowded.
The body will thank you very much for diving into these mineral hot springs. Massage jets! Pools with different temperatures! Healing mud! Yes, it is paid, but inexpensive. But the service surrounding it is all, frankly speaking, of monstrous quality in Abkhazian. Parking in mud puddles. The food is completely low-grade, completely unsanitary. There are few changing rooms, one toilet and a paid one. It is highly recommended to put valuables and documents in the cells at the entrance, because you will have to leave your clothes and bags on some hook without any control and protection, it will be easier to steal them than a light, petty thief in Abkhazia - every second. So swim for your pleasure, but be vigilant. Oh, and by the way! It's especially fun in Kyndyg in winter, in the cold. We highly recommend it.
A wonderful place for rest, relaxation and wellness! A natural thermal spring, the water is rich in minerals. Pools with different water temperatures, hydro massage effect under the jets of water that flows from the hill. The bottom of the pools is covered with pebbles, which creates an additional massage effect for the feet. An inexpensive price, it seems, 300 rubles per person. And although this is the most geographically remote place in Abkhazia, if you count from the border, it is definitely worth going there, especially in the off-season.
We visited the thermal springs in June, went for several days in a row, the price is acceptable 300 rubles. for admission and you need to get by taxi , the price back and forth is 500 rubles. or your own transport and we really liked everything, well-groomed territory, there is a cafe for relaxation, hangers for things around, many changing cabins, water in the springs of different temperatures, who is hotter and who is cooler, super hydro massage and mud, complete relaxation, I advise everyone to visit! You won't regret it.
Entrance 300 rubles per person + Parking 50 rubles. The terms are quite normal for Abkhazia. Clean. The water in the pools is flowing, of different temperatures. Hydro massage. Dirt . There is a place where to leave things, there are cafes, toilets, souvenirs, etc. Worth the money. The only thing is that there are a lot of people in the pool. queues to the toilet, changing room...
Parking is paid. Entrance is paid. After hot ponds, I want to have a snack. There are cafes and fast food tents on site. You can buy a souvenir as a keepsake
A wonderful atmospheric place! We listened to a wonderful tour and walked around the territory. Thanks to all the museum staff for preserving our history.
At first, it may seem that the heating in the province has broken somewhere and the accident is not being fixed in a hurry. Going down to the improved pools, the impression will not change much.
Parking is paid - 50p.
The on-site toilet is chargeable - 10 rubles.
A great wellness place, especially after all the hot baths, you can plunge into a cold wooden barrel.
Better than the new source, which is a little further away.
Well, one thing is extortionate. Maybe it seemed so. Pay for parking, pay to see, pay to go in, pay for the photo))) .outwardly, of course, it is arranged, advertised, the people are crowding. But we didn't go, I wanted to compare it with another source, but...
We visited thermal springs for the first time. 3 pools with different temperatures, hydro massage. The cost per person is 300 rubles. A great place for more than reasonable money. I recommend
In principle, it's not bad, but the disadvantage is that they charge money for admission, but they don't really want to equip it. Especially the approach to mud, it is very difficult to pass, slippery and the stones underfoot are sharp
