Admission is 300 rubles. there are minibuses from Sukhum that will take you to the entrance. Even if you don't have a towel with you, you can rent one. There are 4 cascading pools and a waterfall of water from 5 meters high from pipes. Each pool has its own temperature, as you like it here. From 25 to 45 degrees. In itself, the creation of nature is gorgeous. According to human improvement, make no mistake, this is not a luxury resort, but it is already clear at the entrance price. There are changing booths, sometimes without workers' locks, dirt on the floor and wet. It is almost impossible to put on trousers without wetting the legs, I found a plastic chair and brought it into the locker room, standing on a chair, you can only change cleanly). My husband was guarding the door, as the latch did not work. Winter holidays in hot springs are especially pleasant, and even healthier. But there is no beauty there, everything is like in Soviet times, practical, but not beautiful.

There is a "symbolic" parking, which is typical for all the sights of Abkhazia. There are cafes on the territory of the complex. You can kill a day with the kids.

We drove for several days in a row. The territory is ennobled. There are cafes, you can eat, the prices really bite. The source itself is cool. Four hot pools on site. One of them is hot, the others are cooler.
There is almost no dirt as such. But we had enough.
The only drawback is that the pools are practically not cleaned. The walls were slimy and with algae.

First, I will describe the advantages: location, parking, the fact that there are small cafes on the territory where you can drink tea and taste delicious pies. Also, of course, the very source where you can get a good massage with adjusted water. We also smeared ourselves with clay. However, then they washed it off for a long time. There are a lot of changing rooms and even smoking areas. Of the disadvantages, it takes a very long time to wash your swimming trunks. It is better not to get into the pool in light-colored swimsuits or bathing suits, otherwise you will not take off your clothes later.

This is a separate story, this source is completely different from the others. Everything here has been carefully equipped so as to minimally offend nature. Pools with warm water are not familiar to us, there are stones under our feet at the bottom of them, the frame of the pool is made of wood. This year, there are more convenient locker rooms and places to store personal items. Not lockers, but just spacious gazebos with hangers. There is a cafe at the entrance and more than one with delicious food.

This magical place gave us a real summer in early spring! Since February 25, we have been going to Kyndyg for 10 days in a row to the hot springs. Swimming pools, hydro massage, eucalyptus trees are an excellent wellness effect. Attentive staff, comfortable changing rooms. You can also buy food, drinks, swimsuits, towels here. Clear. Entrance is paid 300r. per person, car Parking or luggage storage 50r.I wanted to leave the docks in the storage room, but when I saw simple boxes in the store, I changed my mind, drove the rented car to the paid one, closed the docks in the trunk. Four pools with thermal water, in the first 43 ° C you go in for the first time (the heart beats) hot, the next ones are gradually cooler because they drain from the first one. The pools are concrete, the bottom is pebbles, aluminum stairs are sharp from below (I got hurt in the hot). There are few changing rooms, dirty, wet, it's kapets, then you leave your things in a bag on hooks, anyone can come up with everything on trust, your money and phone, one plus two uniformed policemen are on duty, walking around the territory, watching. The toilet is paid 10p. There are cafes at the entrance. It is better to visit before 16h because then people go by bus. We were driving from Gagra (about 100km), we rented a car, I think it's cheaper and without fuss, no one is drowning, he is his own master
In parallel, we visited the temple in the village of Illora, drove through remote villages (confused 2Gissuka) with abandoned military equipment and graves in the courtyards of residential buildings (perhaps a tradition).

The source is located right in the village of Kyndyg. The spring is just around the corner from almost any guest house. There is a parking lot at the entrance to the territory of the spring. Parking is paid. Today it is 50 rubles. Nearby, and practically in the parking lot, you can buy fruits.
The entrance to the source is also paid. 300 rubles per person. I didn't pay attention to whether there is a discount for children. But most likely there is. There is a luggage storage on the territory of the spring, there are small shops where you can buy drinks, sweets and souvenirs. It is possible, if you forgot, to rent a towel. There is a cafe. But it only works in summer and autumn.
There are four swimming pools on the territory. Rubber mats are laid between the pools. There is a hydro massage. Through 20 troughs, warm water falls from a height. It's a pretty pleasant procedure. Those who wish can smear themselves with mud. There is such a pleasure here!

But the service surrounding it is all, frankly speaking, of monstrous quality in Abkhazian. Parking in mud puddles. The food is completely low-grade, completely unsanitary. There are few changing rooms, one toilet and a paid one. It is highly recommended to put valuables and documents in the cells at the entrance, because you will have to leave your clothes and bags on some hook without any control and protection, it will be easier to steal them than a light, petty thief in Abkhazia - every second. So swim for your pleasure, but be vigilant. Oh, and by the way! It's especially fun in Kyndyg in winter, in the cold. We highly recommend it.
