For those who are driving their car for the first time, I want to tell you to get car insurance right away. They slow down on the road, because they don't see Abkhaz license plates. And don't exceed the speed limit. Yes, it sounds silly, but I know what I'm writing about. You can drive at the same speed as Abkhazia at 120 (as they usually drive there), but you will be slowed down at the checkpoint, not him, and they will also wave at each other. It's useless to argue with the locals. Yes, you will be signaled, "propped up", but believe me, it's worth it. By the way, the Abkhaz police themselves issue a fine, and they accept it themselves.I just wanted to warn you. Now specifically about Kyndyk.The road is not close. The entrance to the source itself is paid (I think no one is surprised, now everything in Abkhazia costs money). Previously, admission was free for those who would not swim - now you also have to pay. There are no amenities.At the entrance, you can buy something to eat, drink tea. Next, you need to go down and you will see 3 pools (as I will call them) with water of different temperatures. There is also a place on the territory where there are several benches on which water is pouring from above. You can sit or lie down on it.But it is unlikely that you will be able to sit on them for a long time. The water really "hits" from a height. There are time limits for taking such baths (both bathing in springs and "sitting" on a bench).Hydrogen sulfide, after all. There are also health restrictions. Be careful. The changing rooms (those under the canopy) were closed.All that remained was to change clothes on the street.By the way, things will have to be left on a hanger outside! There is no special landscaping. The on-site toilet also leaves much to be desired. You will have to pay for parking near the spring.But if, upon returning from the source, you want to see your car with the license plates of the Russian Federation in the same form, then it's worth it.

Every year there are some positive changes: new paths, places for changing clothes. I really like this place, and my husband considers the springs to be healing. The price is reasonable. There is a cafe on site where you can relax and have a snack, tents with souvenirs and sweets.

When leaving the Kyndyk 1 thermal spring, a sign hangs and broadcasts that I will now "Live for 100 Years", I do not know about the action of the springs, but laughter definitely prolongs life. For 20 years plus, I definitely laughed. Yandex said it was a super source and must-visit, but I had a twofold feeling.

Conclusion:
I do not understand well what people are not satisfied with for 300 rubles. A wonderful scoop. Yes, slippery baths inside, yes, mud with frogs, yes, mud with slime, there are few changing rooms and we did not find a shower, the toilet is far away and costs 10 rubles, there is no information about baths, well, except that visitors will tell you how much time it is worth spending in the water, where you still have 100 once kicked, pushed, sprayed and sent on an erotic journey, but this is nothing compared to emotions and memories. Jump under the hot jets of water, by the way, Moscow longevity calls them hydro massage. Take everything with you - good mood, slippers, towels, hats, change of clothes, shower, screen, umbrella and be ready for any situation! And forward to longevity and laughter therapy.

Drunk tourists spoil everything (I'm from Russia, there were tourists from Russia too) over time, a lot of changes have happened to these beautiful fonts, it has become much more civilized and neater. Incredible atmosphere in the rain. If you are in Abkhazia and it is raining, then do not despair, but follow the springs.

A really natural spring with hot water, which gushes from the ground and then from a small lake already flows into the pools through gutters and pipes. There are several pools with water of different temperatures on the territory. There is also a mud spring. After the procedures, there is really a feeling of lightness and in the future a positive effect from the source is felt, an increase in tone, a surge of strength, and an improvement in well-being. The price is very pleasant, low, there is Parking, cafes and shops nearby.
I visit this place 1-2 times a year.
The only thing I didn't like was that the changing rooms are located on the territory of the source, and the storage rooms for valuables are next to the cash register, but you can not go to the storage rooms in swimming trunks and swimsuits. Here is a man who has changed his clothes and wants to hand over valuables to the storage room, and there, at the exit from the source, in front of the storage rooms there is a sign "a fine for being in beach clothes of 6000 rubles". And what should I do? Do it humanly already, move the sign outside the ticket office to the entrance to the complex or move the storage rooms to the changing rooms!

A great place to take water treatments, given to us by nature itself... Of course, the place is ennobled: a convenient approach / entrance, covered wooden platforms with benches and hooks for clothes, changing rooms / changing rooms, a storage room for the most scrupulous, rubber boots among the pebbles and other amenities. There are several (like three) pools with water of different temperatures: if you want it hotter, you want it colder... There are barrels with cool running water nearby for contrast treatments... And individual streams with sun beds under them are just brilliant! You can lie down under the healing jets and massage :) There is a mud lake / puddle nearby for smearing with healing slime, which can then be washed off. Or you can not wash it off :) In general, a wonderful place for rejuvenation! Just don't overdo it! There are contraindications! If you visit, I recommend it!

Kyndyg is a wonderful place for a healthy and relaxing holiday. The soothing smell of eucalyptus trees, the clear sea, the ancient fortress, and, of course, the calling card of the village of Kyndyg is a thermal spring. I specially came to Kyndyg to undergo a course of hydrogen sulfide procedures. I recommend this place of rest and wellness to everyone!

It's great, a very amazing place, just a miracle of nature. There are waterfalls for massage with sun loungers for convenience. Of course, there are a lot of tourists, a big minus is a paid toilet and slides for children, given that all bags and valuables are in the storage room, it is very inconvenient to go there for money. The bottom of the pools is covered with silt, but I think they are cleaned regularly.The nature is beautiful, as it is everywhere in Abkhazia!

Thermal springs...
It's an amazing place. A lot of pilgrims from all over Russia. 4 baths-pools: from hot, 42° to warm 32°. It smells a little like oil. There are changing rooms at each pool, there are also changing cabins, there are enough for everyone, without queues. And - massage jets of hot (very warm) water with sunbeds under the jets. Separately - healing mud, smeared the body and b/w 15 min. under the warm jets, you wash off the dirt, you feel the tenderness of the skin ...
Entrance to the hospital is 300 rubles / person. for the whole day, Parking 50 rubles. with a car for the whole day. There are kiosks and shops on the territory: to eat and drink.

I didn't like it at all.
The place is highly overrated.
There was a feeling of disgust after the communal pools. There is mud at the bottom, the water is muddy, the sides are slimy (wooden), it is very inconvenient to go out.
I tried it only because of the exhausting sightseeing trip. Hot water, even in the heat, relieved fatigue, so the stars are, but , in general , a very controversial place.
Mixed children, adults, old and young. Either a resort, or baths, or a water park....The people who staged splashing jumps in the pools there were very annoying. They're just not designed for that, it's pretty crowded, and there are a lot of people. In one pool there are children with some circles, active youth and soaking old people.
There are undeveloped thickets of grass and shrubs around, the ditches are overgrown, the space is not decorated except for the entrance part, the changing rooms are very uncomfortable, well, the toilet is full. 🤦♀️
One of the advantages is the non-slip coating by the pools and storage cabinets.

But what exactly could be organized without landscaping is: a subscription for the rental of towels, slippers, because many vacationers from Russia do not correspond. things are coming. In April, there was no place where the family could have a full meal, mulled wines, coffee and chebureks did not count. You can't feed children with this. And bathing bowls could be washed more often, floating mud does not suggest thoughts of recovery. And then you walk around all day with a swamp, there are clearly not enough showers.

The place is a tourist, popular, what is a hot spring, probably, it is not necessary to tell. I didn't like that the entrance is paid, parking is paid separately, a separate luggage storage is paid. It was possible to make a general ticket, and then they walked 10 meters and paid 3 times. The first pool is very hot, the second is cooler, but you can't sit in it for a long time, the third and fourth are approximately the same temperature. The jets are very hot and there is never any room under them. And, the toilet on the territory is also paid! And like the cherry on the cake - it's better not to leave the paths, there are snakes in the grass. An ambiguous place for my taste. Nature is beautiful.

Then the shower is thermal and hot again, water just pours from the mountain, and you wash off- wash off the sacred dirt with thermal water.
Then into the hot pool.
And you can go back to the sunbed under the shower.
The cafes and canteens are excellent. The price is also nice. They even found kvass and corn. We ate borscht, pizza and khachapuri.
I also want to go there. Cellulite doesn't stand a chance there if you live for two weeks.

There are two geothermal springs near the village of Kyndyg (Abkhazia, Sukhum), where people come to take mineral baths. They are called "old" (closer to Sukhumi) and "new". Excellent places for relaxation, hydro massage, hot and cool mineral baths. Check out my photos and videos. Entrance is 300 rubles., minibuses go from Sukhum at 10 and 12 o'clock from the market. Return at 13 and 15 o'clock.
