I will tell you the real story of how the "training" takes place in this "driving school". On November 24, 2023, he called to arrange for his wife and daughter to study for category B, from which they give category A as a gift. We chose a standard course for both, 15 driving lessons - 5 on the machine, 10 on mechanics. He warned that his wife was a Russian citizen, there was only a RVP, to which he received the answer that there would be no problems, hundreds of people had already passed it and received everything. They promised to recruit the group right from next week from Wednesday, the main thing is to pay. We chose a branch at 7/2 Axeleu Seydimbek, paid in 5 minutes, dropped the check - well, I think the job went! I dropped the contact numbers to add to the group in WhatsApp, secured the manager Zarina – and the waiting began, because immediately after payment, the group recruitment period magically became not "you will start on Wednesday", but "within a week and a half we will quickly dial the group". On November 29, I was informed that the group was "gradually gaining strength." On December 5, I asked again when classes would start, to which they told me, "Well, we gave you cards for online access - study there for now." Next, we were assigned classes on a different schedule and in a different branch, to which I replied with bewilderment that it did not suit us in any way.
On December 11, I stopped by the branch where we were supposed to study, and – oh, a miracle! - it turned out that no one there knew that such a group was being recruited at all! Gulnaz's manager also distinguished herself with her attitude to clients – "I'll clarify everything today and call you back!", and 2 days later, when I stopped by, she started "Oh, well, I didn't promise to call, I had nothing to tell you, and I'm not responsible for your group at all!" With calls here is generally interesting the situation is that no one picks up the phone after payment, they are no longer interested in you.
I will continue. Meanwhile, Zarina's manager went to the hospital (and after that she was fired altogether), manager Fariz was appointed to replace her. It doesn't matter to me, the main thing is that the issues would be resolved, but even here a bummer was waiting: for any inconvenient question, she just disappeared and that's it. That is, there was a man – and there is no man. The next day or the next day you write – and she no longer remembers what questions you asked, the story is apparently deleted immediately so that there is no compromise.
December 19 – the study did not begin.
December 27 – the study began solemnly (at that time I did not know that it would be a "study"). But on December 29, classes were canceled because of the corporate party (as well as because of March 7, they will be canceled later). And that's right – why waste it on a giant group of 4 cadets? They couldn't recruit 4 people for more than a month!
The learning process itself is magical. The handout is according to the rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 2018. The teacher reads what he has written with you, practically without explaining it in any way, that is, there is not much use from such teaching. I gave the girls much more – I have 25 years of experience, I gave them examples from the real road for every sign and rule, thanks to this they more or less remembered. And then we started to decide on tickets ... Something seemed painfully familiar to me in them, I looked – and they are according to the rules of the Russian Federation as of 2011!!! Let me remind you: in Kazakhstan in 2023-2024, we must study according to the rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2018 and prepare for the tickets of the Russian Federation in 2011, since the teacher has comments on the answers to them, and there are no other such tickets! I looked at this mess, and began answering tickets in class for the sake of interest, just according to the rules of the Russian Federation in 2011, and bought my girls a SafetyDriving program – they prepared for it.
Somehow, our "training" reached the end of March 11, 2024, and we smoothly approached the exams. There were at least 40 people on the exam, out of our magnificent four, only I passed on the first attempt (I forgot to say – they gave me a gift for category A to study, so I went to classes), the rest did not pass either on the first or second attempt (a month passed between attempts, we tried to prepare better) Of the others, it also seems that one of them passed. Why? It's simple: when the tickets were thrown off for preparation, half of the answers were marked incorrectly. You tell managers about it – they smile and wave, they say it's okay, we're all human, it's common to make mistakes. And then for 20 thousand you get an exam automatically. Well, or until you get old, you'll pay 20 thousand each and go to retake, if you don't want to do it automatically. I really liked the results of the "training": the first time (when only I passed), another girl passed, the rest all failed; when there was a second attempt, everyone failed there too, but a very remarkable girl was who works as a paramedic in an ambulance – and she was constantly falling on medical issues, and she I almost cried when I talked about it, because she almost showed us excerpts from textbooks and notes that she was right, and there was a mistake in the school ticket! My wife also showed me the correct answer in Safety Driving tickets and in the book – the driving school scored a bolt on it, there is no 20K – get out of here, you beggar!
So they passed the exams. Exhaled – well, we think driving is left – and you can go to the PSC to take your license. There were 2 surprises waiting for us, and both unpleasant ones. Surprise 1 – it turns out that they will not give you the right without a residence permit, and everyone knows about it except the managers. Surprise 2 – to sign up for driving, you need to be incredibly lucky, because the registration is open on Monday from 9 to 10, while at first Fariza (our manager) does not answer the phone, then she is busy, and then all the seats are occupied, call next week. In total, they were able to enroll for the first time as early as May 14 (that is, a month after the internal exam), and to this day they have completed 3 driving classes, they could not enroll anymore. We couldn't get the certificates, poor Fariza can't specify in any way where they are and how to pick them up for us.
The driving instructors are great, they work honestly. The teacher according to the rules seems to be trying, but there is little point in trying if you just read and do not explain anything. Managers are all finishers, they don't know how to work and don't want to, their task is only to sell training and then sell the exam, they are not interested in you anymore.
Today is September 18th, 2024. They still can't sign up for driving, because now they've come up with mythical schedules that give us a day, and they can't sign us up anywhere. 10 months, 270 thousand – down the drain. My advice to the doubters is not to apply here under any condition! Believe me: all the laudatory reviews are complete bullshit, written by the employees themselves! There is no worse driving school in Astana, 146% sure!
Well, so that there is no "We did not have such a client!" - I attach both photos of contracts and receipts from the Caspian Sea for payment. I can still attach a lot of things – both photos of errors in the handouts, and photos of the handouts themselves from 2018, but I think it will be enough.
