We went to the restaurant because we read a lot of positive reviews, BUT
When we went to the administrator (02/17/2023), we immediately received a dissatisfied face at the entrance and a clear recommendation either sit down with us for 1 hour or not.
Well, for myself, I argued this with high attendance on Friday.
Then the waiter came up and the level of pathos did not decrease.
We ordered 2 kharchos (it was very tasty) and a portion of pork kebab and a portion of lamb (everything was very over-dried, I do not recommend it)
We took the usual local dry red wine, generally not bad.
If you wanted to experience all the delights of Yerevan cuisine, I recommend the Tavern restaurant, we got there after visiting this place and the contrast was on our face!
The best of everything we tried in Yerevan.
Amazing cocktails – I especially recommend the one with passion fruit. A magnificent barbecue is a divine pork loin.
Very spectacular dishes for the company, but in order to master them, you need to come with at least four people.
The place is generally pleasant. Very tasty fried eggs with tomatoes and basil for breakfast. Portions and the type of barbecue, alas, do not match the photos on the menu. The service is good, but the feed is slow. You can even wait a long time for pita bread. If you want national cuisine, we recommend choosing a simpler place. There you are more likely to feel the flavor and really traditional taste. And this is just a nice restaurant. Peace and kindness to all, friends!
Most likely, a good place for company. One didn't like it. Prices are high by local standards. The pasta with mushrooms and thal was heavily salted, but a delicious signature salad. The service is included, although the service is not very good. The waitress didn't leave the bill when she was paying, and it seems she included an extra tip. Maybe that's the way it is, but I didn't like it.
A must-visit place in Yerevan! A very cozy place. Excellent menu and excellent quality of dishes. Take homemade wine safely - you will not regret it. The staff is efficient and helpful. The place is popular, so book tables.
Not a very friendly hostess, they met very reluctantly, as if with disdain... It spoiled the impression... The rest is the kitchen, the service is excellent.
The best restaurant in Yerevan. There have been several times. Everything is very tasty. The staff is friendly, speaks English well, some speak excellent Russian. A place where you always want to return and which you will definitely miss
The portions are small, the assortment is strange, the prices are not the cheapest as written below, the interior is nice. I wished that I fell for the reviews "where to go to eat local cuisine"
It's a very beautiful place!
Everything is very tasty!! Very!
The service is at the highest level. I want to come here. We've been there a couple of times already.
I really liked the restaurant. He was advised by the staff of the Stay Inn agency. The portions are very large. I took a salad - they brought a huge plate with a spoon - if the two of them didn't finish it. It was very tasty. We tried Yerevan dolma with bulgar - an interesting taste.
Dissatisfied staff, literally asking to take an order from you, running after them to bring the bill, the food is already cold, but no one will ask you how the dish is, because the waiters don't care, the hostess at the entrance also offers the places that are there. The food is delicious. The price is above average
Amazing cooking!!! With the help of fire!!! It's not cheap, although there's something to compare it with, but it's worth it!!! I advise you definitely, be sure to visit. Meat in salt, divine!
There is no tastier meat on the grill in all of Yerevan, we have been diligently checking. Even in the famous Lavash, everything is delicious, except for shish kebab. The brazier is a real wizard, even the beef tenderloin is incredibly juicy and melts in your mouth. We also recommend their Ktur wine, red, white - everything is delicious! The receptionists are all like a selection, very beautiful, but I would like a slightly warmer attitude towards the guests.
Undoubtedly delicious , large portions, but the staff spoils the whole impression. There are many tables available , but they do not offer a choice . To invite the waiter, we looked into his eyes for a long time. And all the waiters seem to be the owners of this place (emotionless) sighing. The waiter exhaled on my food , apparently tired . I won't come back here a second time . And I don 't advise others to spoil their mood . There are plenty of other wonderful places in Yerevan.!
Very beautiful interior, but an absolute hack among the staff. When we arrived, the receptionist was on the phone and didn't bother to break away from him to put us down. They put us in the farthest corner, although the restaurant was almost empty and after 15 minutes they did not approach us.
The feedback about the administrators was 100% confirmed. I have never met more arrogant and arrogant characters anywhere. They absolutely do not correspond to friendly Armenia.
I literally had to beg to be accommodated.
The portions are very small compared to other Armenian restaurants. The lamb square looked more like a probe)))
The wine was tasted by KARAS on recommendation. He's not very good at all. That's right strongly for an amateur.
Dolma. The leaves are hard and sour. The sauce was brought to dolma only after the third request. And so, they ignored it in every possible way.
The waiters have a lot to do. We sat for more than 20 minutes. So no one came to take the order. They strut by. Don't go, don't distract them. Moreover, only 2-3 tables were occupied.
A great restaurant. Excellent service. Reasonable prices and very large portions. Be sure to ask how many people are hotter. As a rule, for two people. A good wine list. A magic pear in wine. It's worth going. And go several times to try different things. The cuisine is local, but in the author's reading, and therefore not boring.
The restaurant of "Yerevan cuisine" on that part of the boulevard ring, which was never destined to become the northern half of the ring, and it remained just Saryan Street.
Spas soup is served with butter and herbs separately. Record-breaking "empty" saved in terms of the matsun/grain ratio, but the broth is pleasant and smooth.
Lakhmajo is one and a half times the size that in ordinary taverns / cafes, very neat, smooth with a meat layer, the dough is thin, but not over-dried anywhere, the edges do not break, do not crumble, roll any origami out of it for convenience of eating.
Pork shish kebab was slightly overexposed to my taste, by no means dry, but I have seen pork shish kebab and juicier. A very small quibble, five points does not cancel it.
Dolma is very "meaty" and served in broth. Matsun was sprinkled with sumac, even if it doesn't really taste good, #first of all, it's beautiful
Arishta with mushrooms and thal. Unlike arishta with cavourma from previous reviews, the meat here is thin petals, not large pieces, yes, it's too early to talk about the interpenetration of flavors, but still, at least on one fork, and then all three titular ingredients can be in the mouth at the same time.
A dirty plate is not cleaned for a long time
And when they clean up, the dirty appliances are shifted to a clean one - I still have to eat the next dish with them.
It was a whole story to wait for the bill.
I asked for the bill from the hostess - I clarified whether it was on the card and ... disappeared. The next time I saw her, I reminded her, then she went to the counter, from behind which they give out caskets with bills. Then the question is, where did she go last time?..
While I was waiting for the bill, they brought another dolma) no, thank you
Good cuisine and poor service. In total, I still recommend it.

A great place to have dinner in Yerevan, I've been here many times and liked everything.
I'm writing about all the cafes and restaurants I've visited in three days!
They greet you joyfully, as if they were waiting for you at the door!
The interiors are different, but there are beautiful friendly faces everywhere.... Delicious! Very! And yet, they serve you quickly, neatly, beautifully! Thank you all!
A large restaurant, a large terrace, open and semi-open, so that even on cold days you can stay outside.
The cuisine has an Armenian bias, a very diverse menu.
Large portions. The price tag is humane, a huge selection of local wine (not all good). The dishes are amazing. Fast service.
A stylish, well-made place that you want to return to.
Recommend.
It's a great place. I would say more expensive than average, but everything is very tasty, hookahs are good.
I recommend trying khorovac. Great serving, lots of different meat inside.
In summer, it is very pleasant to sit on the terrace, there is cooling due to the water spray system. Just remove the glasses so that the water does not get on them.
Unfortunately, a place where you want to return every day! Great atmosphere, very tasty food, excellent serving, large portions! The service is at the highest level, I would like to mention Grant's waiter separately! Thanks! Let's go back again!
The service is very fast! Unobtrusive and the fastest service of all the restaurants that we visited in two weeks in Yerevan. I don't understand why they write about slow service here! We've been here 4 times these days, just because we liked it. The wine has its own class ! The sterlet is good, the kebabs there are all sorts of good loins, but there is still room to grow.
In short, I haven't been so high on food for a long time. Dolma, lahmajo, shish kebab - everything is just incredibly delicious. And they brought everything in just a few nanoseconds, there was no limit to the surprise. I highly recommend you to visit!
10 percent- in payment, for the waiters? Know-how in Armenian? It's unclear, fussy, and expensive ..
but delicious, something... And for all establishments of this type, the reviews are mostly tourists... Local, units will go... Where to go, all cars on gas.....
