Be sure to visit if you are nearby. An interesting location with modern facilities and a magnificent view of the sea from the observation deck. There is a mini museum with the history of the settlement. Green terraces with vineyards and paths. The territory of the fortress is not large in area, well-groomed and beautiful. Admission is GEL 8 per adult. Near the fortress in the village of Tsikhisdziri there is a Petro Beach with a waterfall and a wooden beach with a banana grove. Everything is within walking distance.
A beautiful and atmospheric place.Who is vacationing in Kobuleti and going to Batumi. The place was put in order (we were here before), although the entrance became paid. There are places for beautiful photos, the remains of an ancient fortress, you can walk with a guide, a garden gallery, there is a lift for people with disabilities. There is a beach and a cafe downstairs.I recommend you to visit.
The territory is pleasant, well-groomed and although small, there is a place to walk. It is easy to get from Batumi, from Chakvi by taxi. There is an observation deck and benches for recreation. I am very happy with the trip there.
An interesting historical site. It is better to take a guide for a more interesting visit. Wonderful viewpoints. There is a wonderful beach nearby, where locals like to relax!
A small fortress on the seashore with a great view. By itself, it is not very large and heavily destroyed, but there is something to look at, although there is not enough information.
Plus, a greenhouse for lemons was built along the fortress in Soviet times, now also dilapidated, but at the same time a small exhibition about the history of this place is organized there
An interesting object. There are many ruins, there is a description. You can take a walk in the cool of the trees. Stunning views of Kobuleti, the sea. There is a beach nearby.
A picturesque location, it's a pity a small museum, the views from there are awesome. Be sure to take a walk through banana and bamboo groves nearby with a visit to Petra Beach.
There's not much to do here. The entire location can be viewed in 20 minutes. A pile of stones with a history. Even the taxi driver on the way there said: Well, a fortress is like a fortress, there are many of them here.
Nevertheless, my husband liked this place.
I conclude: for an amateur. If you like ancient stones and places "with history", you may like it. It didn't go well for me.
Of the inconveniences: it is difficult to go back- taxi drivers go far (they come only if they pay by card, which is irrelevant in our case) and you either have to wait until a car or a bus turns up. In our case, we had to look for a return car for 40 minutes.
My husband and I really liked the fortress. We were right after a light rain, you can see it in the photo. Because of the humidity, the greenery is very beautiful. Stunning views, beautiful place.
You can definitely recommend it to those who have not been there yet. Firstly, the fortress itself deserves attention, it is interesting to explore and marvel at the greatness of what was here before. Secondly, very beautiful views open up at some points of view. Very attentive and friendly staff!
Super! It's breathtaking! The views are just a bomb! Everything is great. The entrance is very inexpensive, in my opinion, 8 GEL.

Beautiful panorama. The fortress has been well restored. There are shady paths around the fortress. You can get from Batumi by minibus or by transfer. There is a nice beach below
We arrived by car to where the navigator took us, but it turned out that we still had to walk to it for quite a long time, read the reviews that there was nothing to see and did not go.
A very cool place! It is paid, but the ticket is inexpensive, in the area of 250 rubles for local money, it is very beautiful there, the fortress is located on a hill, an unreal view of the turquoise sea and the nearby cities of Batumi and Kobuleti opens from the observation deck, there is a very beautiful rocky beach below
A cool attraction near Batumi. True, some ruins, but the story is far, interesting. The overview is excellent, many photos can be taken from different angles.
Small, but cozy. An interesting guided tour. There are places to relax, benches, urns. Everything is clean and well maintained. Entrance is paid, but the service is of high quality.
There is no way to get there, the road through the mountains is valleys, and then a descent through a dirt road with pits that you will be afraid to drive on an all-terrain vehicle
It's a very cool location. Beautiful views. An interesting, erudite guide, David, tells the story, which the stones begin to "come to life". The processing of stones by the Byzantines, 1,500 years ago, is very impressive. Now the builders are laying much worse. We recommend it.
Couldn't get in. Either the schedule is incorrect or some kind of game and no one is allowed in. The administration simply does not command any respect. They sit together with the guards, smoke on the bench and shrug their shoulders. If you plan to visit 10 times, please check back and so on. It is far and often useless to travel from Batumi
It was cold in winter, of course, and the rain washed out some of the tracks. But it's just the weather, what's wrong with it. But the feeling of antiquity, the beauty, the atmosphere are just wonderful. I advise everyone 100%.
It's a very atmospheric place. I advise everyone to visit. There is a very nice beach nearby. The entrance to the fortress is paid, but it's worth going to a very interesting place
Before "cultivation" and paid entry, it was better here.
More authentic.
And now, too, it's generally good, the cost of visiting is low, there is something like a museum at the entrance.
The ruins of the fortress themselves are certainly an amateur, but the view from the observation deck is simply magnificent. Plus there is a nice beach nearby.
