The castle is one with the Istanbul door of İznik, so nothing special. The importance is in the door being the door to Europe from Asia.

Instead of the popular ruins clogged with tourists, it's better to go here for a walk, take a look and not leave a fortune. In 2024, admission cost 3 euros.
