A small, neat Catholic church located on a hill between the lakes Novyaty and Drivyaty. Because of the stone-lined walls, it resembles a fortress. A very serious temple, by the way. In 2024, the Pope awarded him the title of basiliaca minoris (minor basilica), which underlines the special connection of this church with the Holy See.
Pros: 1] The skill of the builders of that time in conditions of high humidity is amazing 2]It is amazing how the builders were able to combine hewn boulders with red bricks during the construction of walls 3] The view from both land and water is beautiful, riding a catamaran rented at the Folvarok hotel (for their guests free of charge) There is, of course, such a disadvantage as the staircase, which is in disrepair when descending from the castle hill of Braslav
The building itself is very fascinating. The building is built entirely of stone and the interior is very beautiful and has a very interesting history.
