A beautiful church with a rich history. We were at the service on Thursday. The organ was playing and the children were singing hymns. It's very cool and unusual. Services are held in Polish, Belarusian and Latin. Depending on the day of the week.
Such power and beauty ! It 's like I 've plunged into the last century ! It's a pity that the church is closed to the public, my daughter really wanted to go there!
The church is hospitable, but unfortunately its "employees" are not.
My wife and I were passing through Minsk, we have long wanted to visit komtel and finally came in on 08/07/12.
We didn't talk, just silently inspected the church, make a donation.
And then an angry "employee" of the church came up to us and just kicked us out! Because we moved along the walls from one part of the church to another. The "employee" didn't like it.
Nowhere, in any country in the world, have we been kicked out of the church.
Only in Minsk
The church was built in the early 20th century, located in the city center, next to the monument to Archangel Michael and the bell. The interior is large, warm, bright, interesting architecture. I recommend a visit.
, cozy, meaningful!!!
I wanted to attend the service at 13:00 in Polish, but it was in Belarusian. It's also good, although I tuned in to Polish.
Thanks

The church was closed during our visit to Kiev.
But it's gorgeous from the outside. The equipped territory is nearby.
Come to Belarus, everything is calm and we are glad to see you. A beautiful church, many interesting places.Delicious cuisine, beautiful castles and good roads)))
We could not visit this facility, because for some reason the entrance doors were sealed! It was March 8, 2024.

My favorite place, a place of inspiration and unity of soul and mind!
I am waiting for the repair to be completed as soon as possible.
I want to go not only on holidays, but also at any time when I need it! 💜🌺🙏
The church is one of the main attractions of Minsk, with a very interesting history. In front of the Church there is a landscaped park with an entrance/exit to an underground shopping center.
On Independence Square, next to the Government House, there is a red brick Catholic church — it is called the Red Church. An example of the neo-Romanesque style, the church of St. Simeon and St. Helena was built in 1905-1910 at the expense of the Belarusian politician, public figure and nobleman Edward Voynilovich.
Interesting story, beautiful church outside. I haven't been inside. It is still closed for repairs after the fire.

🙏Beautiful temple in the city center! It is very easy to get to him and participate in the holy service. The rector of the temple is a competent and polite person. The Adam Mickiewicz Library is located in the basement. The church is not only a temple, but also a center for young people and their parents, exhibitions, musical evenings, guided tours of Belarus, etc. are often organized.
Very beautiful. I always consider religious sites from the point of view of culture and aesthetics. I liked this cathedral. Very organic both outside and inside.
A very beautiful building! You look at her and imagine yourself in the past, and you can take a picture of her a million times and never choose the best photo!
I often walk there. The architecture is amazing, the building is small but cute, the color, the area around, the flowers, the organ, the bell are all attributes of religious culture. Even if you are not a believer, you are still touched. It seems that the weather is always sunny there.
Of course I'm not a Catholic, but curiosity got the better of me. The church is bombed. It's very beautiful inside and out. From the school curriculum, I wrote an essay on this topic, I know the wonderful, interesting history of this church. It should be very interesting for tourists
An architectural monument in the center of Minsk, since there are quite a few attractions in Minsk, you can go and see, but compared to the cities of the Golden Ring, I was not impressed by anything
Externally, the church looks quite modern, but there are many sculptures around it, it is impossible to get inside, it has been closed for more than a year after the fire.
A beautiful European-style building, but for some reason it was sealed, it was impossible to get inside.

I'm not a religious person, but I liked it here. Quiet, calm, beautiful. You can relax, sit in silence, think, take a break if you have a walk around the city. And it doesn 't smell like incense 😈
I was in a Catholic church for the first time. I really liked it. The decoration, the atmosphere. It's like I've been in all the movies from my childhood
Built in 1908-1910, it is the most striking symbol of Minsk. Everyone knows this place. A wonderful church that fits well on the Nezovisimosti Square. The architecture of the church is unusual for the city, but it, like many other places, is the best and most beautiful in the capital.
The beautiful church, built in 1910, is located in the very center of Minsk, on Independence Square. The sculpture "Archangel Michael piercing the serpent" is installed in front of the building. Inside the temple is very bright, with beautiful stained glass windows, it is pleasant to be in it. It is often called the red church. Interesting metal entrance doors with green chair inserts. It's a very photogenic place.
The famous Minsk Red Church (as indicated on the plaque - "Church of St. Simon I of St. Alyona" - soft signs in words do not correspond to spelling in modern Belarusian) was built more than 110 years ago. His building is an architectural masterpiece (BEAUTY)! It is located next to the Government House. I haven't been inside because I'm not a Catholic. The parishioners of this particular branch of the Russian Orthodox Church will tell you more about the work of the clergy.
