It is very beautiful with a long history, the parishioners will be happy to tell the story of the sights and it is pleasant to find in this place, only good impressions remain
It's just a masterpiece! It should be borne in mind that the condition is emergency and at any moment something may fall off, as it was with us)) which, in other respects, did not prevent climbing all the stairs to the very top) very grandiose, cool and unappreciated! I recommend it!
For those who are interested in the topic of ancient buildings and their history. Come to Lyskovo Pruzhansky district. Frescoes have been preserved inside the church.
The frescoes have been preserved, but it is a pity that there is no one to protect them from the merciless time. A thunderstorm broke out during the visit. They were forced to leave the church, because dying from a brick falling on their head was a so-so idea. I advise you to visit, there is a place to climb, the spiral staircase has been preserved. It is very interesting to assess the volume of the church from the inside. It inspires.
I specially organized a trip to this place, yes, it is destroyed, but it cannot be restored, but there were attempts. Even what's left shows what a beauty it was. The remains of the wall paintings are striking in their colors. But inside you have to be careful, you can earn a nail in your foot, or a brick....
A very beautiful, atmospheric Church. It is a pity that they spend money on the construction of shopping malls, but nothing is allocated for the restoration of such architectural creations. It's nice to walk around such places, to touch the history...
A gorgeous place, a very beautiful Church, inside there is a part of the painting on the walls. It is a pity that money is invested in business centers and shopping malls, and such ingenious architectural creations are being destroyed
They started to restore it, but everything stopped. Next to the Church, on the opposite side of the road, there was a German hospital. This is the second photo, a two-storey building. On the same side where the church is, across the street, there was a German cemetery. The Germans took out the remains in the 90s, it seems. The church is located near the T-shaped intersection!!
16th century. It's interesting to see. The approaches are fenced with tape. You can't get inside. Just the photo from the outside. I hope for reconstruction. The history of the monastery church is similar to those times.
It is a beautiful temple, it is a pity that it is in a deplorable state. Be careful when walking nearby, bricks may fall. Someone would have restored it.
The church is 300 years old and the plaster does not crumble, but now it is plastered in the summer and it falls in the spring. There used to be technologies.
Ruins of this church remain. The roof and floor have collapsed, windows and doors are boarded up. Inside, small fragments of frescoes remain on the walls.
I really wish it to be restored.
