The beautiful St. Sophia Cathedral. Organ music concerts are held on Sunday at 15.00. It is better to buy tickets in advance, there are many people who want to get there. There were practically no seats by 15.00! I really enjoyed the music.
Before visiting, you need to read the history of this beautiful defensive church. The interior is very atmospheric.

The monumental stone church was built more than 400 years ago and it is said that it has never been closed. The ascetic facade is decorated with only four arched niches - a kind of monument of defensive architecture (walls are 2 meters thick) During the Northern War, it was shelled by the Swedes: cannonballs of those times were embedded in the walls of the church. The interior retains an altar from the beginning of the XVIII century, an organ from the end of the XVIII century, an icon of the Mother of God, considered miraculous in the XVIII century. In the church there is a painting by Alfred Romer "Jesus Christ and the orphan". The church was open during our visit and it was possible to climb the bell tower and go down to the basement.
