The hotel is the largest in operation in Pyongyang today. Although it looks quite modern on the outside, it was actually built about 40 years ago. Thus, already in that distant time, Korean builders demonstrated outstanding success. The interior decoration is also impressive and very comfortable. On the upper floors there is a rotating restaurant, like on the Ostankino Tower

The Koryo hotel is a full-fledged "city within a city", without leaving which there are available: a swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna, a massage, a whole bunch of all kinds of restaurants (including a revolving restaurant at the very top), several bars, a couple of shops (with an assortment from souvenirs to products and clothes).
Everything is at the highest level!

The hotel is excellent , very polite staff , socialism at its best !!! And what delicious breakfasts, it's just beyond words!!!
