I bought an HP450 laptop. We spent a week figuring out that we need to replace the cable to the screen. The cable costs 40p, I was charged 180p with a cable for a replacement. They also tried to sell reinstalling Windows for 90p, although the average market price is 30p. I refused to repair it - they returned the laptop in a terribly assembled state, the keyboard sticks out, the power button just falls through.
