The hotel has a lot of disadvantages : 1. Unfriendly and lazy reception staff.You will never be checked into a room earlier, only later than 2. The hotel does not have a beach and you need to walk further away either along the street (if the tide is high) or along the rocky shore (if the tide is low) 3. Dirty pool, which is scary to swim in, especially with children 4. Very expensive prices for the restaurant and bar in the hotel itself 5. Poor or non-working Wi-Fi at the reception 6. The hotel does not respond to messages in WhatsApp, e-mail, although all contact details are listed on the website and on business cards. We rested here before the pandemic, forgot our things after leaving and decided to call the hotel to pick them up the next day, but no one answered our messages and calls, and upon arrival the next day, no one helped.This year, we booked this hotel at an attractive, inexpensive price with full payment for 2 months in advance, but someone canceled the reservation right before check-in.And when we arrived at the hotel, after an overnight flight and a 7-hour transfer with the children, we found out that the hotel had already sold our rooms to other tourists. It is logical that it is much more profitable for the hotel to sell the room more expensively at high-season prices, and the fate of tourists does not matter at all.Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel to visit.

We've been to Koh Chang 8 times, walked past Grand View - I didn't like the beach, retired this year and decided to choose an economy option for hotels. We took 7 days in Grand View in a bungalow. We were pleasantly surprised: excellent and varied breakfasts, there is no Macro nearby, there is no beach (or rather, it is upstairs on the hotel grounds), but a sandy beach and a seabed where there is not a single stone, you can walk along the shore, you can swim, I swam to KS grand. I recommend it! We want to book for three weeks next year.

In my experience, there are not many hotels by the sea.(slightly more than 10 pieces) But this one is definitely the top 3 of the best. Convenient location from the ferry. The developed infrastructure of the hotel. The chic territory of the hotel (breakfast with a view of the sea and a glass of sparkling wine at sunset) I can't help but mention the kitchen, it's gorgeous for children, vegans and omnivores! There are many convenient services (one of them is the rental of new bikes) Attentive reception staff. Thank you for our stay.
