We had a vacation with my husband together in this average lousy hotel in October 2014. Everything would be fine, but I was once asked at the reception for a card to pay for a one-night reservation for one room, as there were problems with our armor for some reason. After the payment, we sorted it out and everything became normal. Our room was vacated and we were moved in. But there were problems with my card. They started charging me about 20 euros in rubles every day. I went to the reception desk, where I was authorized, to find out what the problem was. I was authorized at the reception. After the approval, I was allegedly cancelled, But in fact the transactions began to take place twice for 20 euros. Due to technical reasons, Sberbank could not block the card. After departure and arrival in Russia, the same amounts were debited from my card, and the SMS did not arrive. I found out about the write-offs after the operation in Russia, as there was no money on the card at all. As a result of an investigation into card transactions at Sberbank, I was recommended to sue King Evelton for fraud with my finances. While in Russia, I was unable to sue or influence the Hotel administration in any way. I repeat, after I was evicted from the Hotel, they continued to charge me further. I had to reissue the card. The funds that were previously debited from me were never returned. I wrote a claim to the King Evelton Hotel, they returned a small amount, and from the date of departure to Russia. I do not know who used the services. My husband arrived a couple of hours later than me at the hotel then. We ate half board. We went to a restaurant on the embankment in the city for dinner. The room was booked from Russia as part of the tour. 13 years have passed, and there is still a negative residue.
The hotel is in poor condition, the room is peeling. From a five, the maximum is cheap slippers. The room cleaning is disgusting. The bed linen was changed on the 6th day after the scandal. They can clean up and leave a dirty glass in the room, do not put towels. The room smells damp and musty. The food is mediocre. It's the same thing every day. It's not very tasty. Cypriot doesn't smell authentic. There were rolled-up umbrellas, broken through one. There is no staff on the beach (well, except for the waiters). There are problems with the electrics in the hotel itself, or they save money like that. It's dark in the corridor to the room, we walk by touch. The stuffiness is terrible, and the reception is not much cooler. The air conditioners are probably not coping. The rose on the cake is a big Cypriot cockroach in the hallway... and there are some on the territory. In general, the hotel is not 5 stars in any way. I hoped that they would replace the lack of access to the sea with good service, but I was mistaken.
The hotel is a solid three! I pinched my fingers on the door, it boiled over and decided to roll out a review!
Dirty carpets in the corridors! Someone's trimmed toenail from his big toe has been lying under our door for 3 days, until his husband threw it aside ..
Going into the room is a whole ordeal! First you need to wait for 2 beeps, then 2 red light signals, then the blue light turns on and you can enter. The door is very light, as if made of pressed cardboard, the door closer is clearly for an iron door! That is, a child alone will never open the door without the help of adults! And adults are simply thrown out of the room by this door! And if you need to leave the door ajar (for example, you bring suitcases or return to the hotel with bags), then you need to press down the front door with the door from the sliding closet in the corridor, which you can also move the horseradish without straining. That's where I pinched my fingers!!!!
We rest out of season, so I can't say anything about the beach, the territory and entertainment, we don't visit. The food is also on the top three. Yes, there is a lot of it and it seems to be diverse, but everything is extremely tasteless:(((
Water is brought to the room only if you call the reception
Only 1 pair of slippers is attached to the 2nd dressing gowns, there were no slippers in the second room at all! On one robe, the pocket is half torn off.. I'm not fussy at all, but it's already boiling over
The staff is responsive and good, there are no complaints at all!
Not a bad hotel, an average 4 rooms by Cypriot standards. But honestly , it 's worn out , worn out . Unsanitary conditions . But the price tag is normal. Of the minuses , the contingent . Unfortunately, we were robbed, the whole hotel was set on our ears, but to no avail.
So, be vigilant. There are no cameras in the hotel.
People who write there is no beach, apparently did not understand the area so much that they decided to misinform everyone. Wild beach is 5 minutes from the hotel. as in a fairy tale- you will go to the right, you will swim in Kamennaya bay, you will go to the left of the hotel, you will come to the sandy beach. A very cool hotel. It was all too amazing that I wanted to move to Cyprus.
King Evelton has the best tennis court in Paphos, its covering prevents injuries! Very decent food for every taste, any diet and restrictions. Good sound insulation, service. The gym and spa area are for four. The whole hotel is excellent. I would like this five-star hotel to have its own beach for swimming in the sea or nearby. Since it's a long way to go to the beach of the Venus Beach hotel.
This is not the first time we have rested in this hotel. He wears his 5 stars deservedly. The staff does not change from goal to year, too, I think, an indicator.
