I really liked the hotel. We stopped by on July 23rd, there weren't many people, but today (30th) the hotel is full and full. It's not a big area, but the feature of this hotel is the island, it's like a bomb. Swimming between the beach and the island is a pleasure, and there is such a sense of security, not very deep, and there can't be sharks here) the water is crystal clear, transparent, the beach is cleaned 24/7, there are lifeguards everywhere. The all inclusive includes a lot of cocktails and they are delicious, drinks like pepsi, everness are all in cans of 0.33, which is also very pleasing. All drinks are brought by the staff, you don't have to go anywhere yourself. Most of the staff speaks Russian, there is animation too, energetically) in the evening there is music and discos on the island. The hotel is of a very good standard, the rooms were cleaned every day conscientiously, we were very satisfied with everything. Well done animators!!!! I especially want to mention Yasha and Jimmy, they speak Russian well, they turned off Russian music for us)))

We stayed at the hotel in mid-November. The hotel itself is old, but it was renovated in 2014. As I understand it, this is the norm in Hurghada. The room had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, mini-bar (for a fee), kettle, coffee and tea set, iron, hairdryer and toiletries. Overall, the room is good. I was confused by the lack of a removable shower, plastic furniture on the balcony, partially a view of the construction site.
The food at the hotel is 4 out of 5. There are few fruits and seafood, always boiled pasta, low alcohol, lipton tea. A good selection of vegetables, meat: chicken, beef, lamb in different variations, lots of sweets. The staff is friendly and courteous, but there is a general hysteria about tips in Egypt. The hotel has a swimming pool and its own small beach, there is a bulk island also with sun loungers and a bar. During the day there is yoga, aqua aerobics, belly dancing, tanura, saxophone, etc. in the evening. There were no small children during the holiday, the hotel is aimed at adults. The hotel has souvenir shops, there are water activities, it is very convenient that everything is at hand, you can not leave the hotel.

Yachts are parked all around the hotel. The motors work day and night. The hum, the smell of diesel fuel around the clock. We took an expensive room with the best sea view and listened to the yacht engines all night. Second. An abandoned construction site is adjacent to the hotel, either workers or guards live there, these turn on the quarantine for speakers and delight tourists with their chants from 5 am. I do not know if the hotel can influence these factors, but in any case it is no longer five stars.
Otherwise, the hotel is not bad, the advantage for Egypt will be a good (again by Egyptian standards) gym with sauna and Jacuzzi.

Positive:
Private beach, polonium entrance to the water, clear water, responsive staff
Cons; In fact, a 3-star hotel, there is no question of any 5 stars here. It's a disappointment.
1. The creepy room stock, furniture and plumbing condition are simply frightening. There is not even a shower to wash your hair properly. We changed the number 2 times, everything is the same. It feels like you're in a Soviet sanatorium with plastic furniture on the balcony.
2. The lack of normal food, only the vegetable station is good, the rest is not possible. There is no seafood at all, fish every other day, meat is mainly chicken. Side dishes other than rice are not possible. Of the fruits, only the rubber melon. There is a queue at the restaurant for dinner, there are no empty seats, you will not wait for drinks.
3. At night, loud music from yachts is constantly coming from the street, they have a pier here, they can turn on the music at 2.3, at 5 in the morning and the staff can't do anything. The yachts have a parking lot in front of the hotel.
4. A huge number of Mosquitoes, it is not possible to sleep without fumitox, I had 17 bites the first night. And in the afternoon, a swarm of flies overwhelms you on the beach.
5. All-inclusive alcohol includes local wine and 6 cocktails, any strong alcohol or normal wine for an additional fee
6. Of course there is a tennis court, but it is always busy, because people book immediately 10 days in advance for a normal time, when it is not hot and it turns out that the court is free only every day, and it is paid, if everything is included, then an hour is free.
7. The gym is stuffy, the windows do not open, it is not possible to stay in it, let alone practice.
8. Animation for children is the same every day for 20 minutes
9. There is nothing near the hotel, to walk more or less somewhere you need to walk 20-30 minutes through the ruins. There are unfinished hotels and a landfill nearby everywhere.
10. Room cleaning is mediocre and during lunch, mostly when you want to relax in the room.
11. Creepy-looking beach towels, torn with protruding threads
12. Wi-Fi is missing everywhere except the lobby, to the beaches to send SMS to whatsapp wait 5 minutes, it is easier to buy a SIM card at the airport.

Now we are in Hurghada Marriott Beach room 509 and decided to go for a la carte. All over the world, a la carte is provided to all-inclusive guests 1 time for free! Everything is completely wrong here! For some reason, they have a la carte for money! Moreover, 20 grams of Courvoisier cognac costs $ 14.5!!! We have not seen such prices anywhere! Shame on you! They do not even understand that 1/4 of the total volume of the glass should be poured into a cognac glass. We were given exactly 20 grams! I don't know what they were pumping, they probably measured it with a syringe! At the same time, we were charged $ 29!!! Anyway, Marriott has a huge fat minus for this! Don't get fooled by their a la carte!

And I was here in March 2019. It was already possible to swim in the sea. The hotel is decent, only the territory is small, there was a construction site on the right and left. The pool is small, but at night, in the absence of others, you can swim in warm water to your heart's content. Security is round the clock, they were not allowed to swim in the sea at night. I told them not to pay attention to me, and on the third day they got used to it, they just stood on the sidelines while I swam for 30 minutes. The kitchen at the hotel is decent, for me the choice is sufficient. In Egypt, I do not like to go anywhere out of the hotel, there is nothing new and interesting there, and if you have company, then you can have fun in the hotel as well.
