Wonderful place. Very peacfull and quite there. Ruins were restored ofcorse, but still, you can see and then try to imagene how temple was in the old days. There is little musem in the yard, woth visiting it too.
It is a very atmospheric, beautiful, historical place, I really liked it. The museum at the temple is gorgeous, there are a lot of props inside, it's clean. The columns are gorgeous!!
The monument is a restored ruin, but it looks very beautiful. In clear weather, there are magnificent views of Ararat, if you're lucky, you can admire it. There is a free toilet nearby
A very amazing place!
the view around is fascinating)
I am glad that there are sightseeing tours to this place, very beautiful architecture!
You definitely need to go there)
An archaeological complex on the site of the famous ancient Armenian temple destroyed by an earthquake. The small museum tells the history of the temple and the history of its research.
A very beautiful view of Ararat breaks away from the recreated parts of the ancient structure. There is a large orchard around the complex.
What is worth considering - yes, it is better to get around Zvartnots either by car (by taxi) or with a bus tour. It is inconvenient to walk from Vagharshapat or by public transport. And yet - from the entrance gate to the temple is quite a long walk, you should count your strength, especially when it's hot.
It seems to me that the attention to this object is too high. Not the most interesting location. Actually, the columns and ruins are everything. I was attracted to this place by the photos with the huge Mount Ararat in the background. It was a perfectly clear day. There were more advantageous views with Ararat in Yerevan on this day. If there is a choice between visiting some two sites, then choose the second one. You can stop by here on your way. But not specifically to go.
The ruins of the temple. For those who are interested in history and excavations, it will be interesting. There is no shade on the territory of the temple, hats are needed so that the head does not get baked. There is also a small museum on the territory, and of course you can see Ararat
An amazing place for history lovers. The entrance is 400 rubles., but it is worth going 100 m. along the fence and the entrance to the world of history becomes free.
A stunning temple, very impressed with its power and beauty. On the advice of the cashier, we took a guided tour with Larisa ( guide 5000 t. AMD) +1500 for admission per person. The tour was literally 10 minutes long!!!!The guide Larisa managed to take us through the temple + museum in 10 minutes!!! A very fast, uninformative tour! There was not a pleasant aftertaste that we expressed at the checkout, which we received another dose of negativity from the cashier and the guard After the guide found a video on YouTube - it was much more interesting and free!
Here you feel the spirit and aura of the past, the history and antiquity of Armenia. I recommend everyone to go if possible.

A wonderful place steeped in history.
It is very beautiful and informative. We were in early October, there were few people. It is definitely worth visiting and visiting the museum on site.
It looks very interesting. It seems that in this form it is even more interesting than it was when it was built. It's interesting to wander, take a walk, take beautiful photos. There is a small museum hall nearby, where you can learn more about the history.
I really liked it - you need to see it in person!
How to get from Yerevan:
1. with a guided tour
2. by car or taxi
3. by minibus 203 from the central bus station for 300 AMD
The cost of an entrance ticket to Zvartnots temple is 1,500 drams
Opening hours: Tue-Sat — 10:00-17:00; Sun — 10:00-15:00; Mon — closed.
A good place. In principle, the ruins of the temple, but the museum saves the situation. It seems that the legends about the temple exaggerate its importance a little. Still, the place is worth a visit. And besides, personally, I've been thinking about what the airport was named after.
There was time on the day of departure, so we took a taxi here. Entrance is paid, there are few people. The pictures are beautiful. Ararat has not fully opened.
A historical place, it can't be bad or good, we liked it! Those who know the history recommend it! In general, it is very atmospheric! I recommend it!!!
Ruins of the temple. Very authentic, however, having previously looked at the Geghard monastery, the church of Saint Gayane and Etchmiadzin, I did not see anything new for myself, we stopped by on the way back from Etchmiadzin (it is advisable to combine Zvartnots in one trip at a distance of 10 minutes by car). The whole inspection took about 20 minutes, including sitting on a bench. The whole history of the temple is written on a tablet next to it.
Zvartnots is one of the ancient temples of Great Armenia.Ancient country, ancient history, ancient culture.Kind, advanced people.
I dream of coming to Armenia again before the end of the year.
It's a pretty interesting place. It has nothing to do with the ancient temple that was once at this place. Just created a new monument.
BUT here you can enjoy a stunning view of Mount Ararat in clear weather!

The place is amazing: a feeling of strength and direct cosmic power! I still don't understand how it was possible to build SUCH a thing. Someone will not come in, but if there is an opportunity to walk in silence, touch these columns, examine the details, sit on the steps or go down into the "bag", then aesthetic pleasure is guaranteed to you) According to legend, if you go down into a stone bag on the territory of the temple itself and make your most cherished wish, then it will definitely come true) And if you consider that we got there to an impromptu concert of opera singers, whom we listened to the day before in "Aida", and against the background of Ararat and magnificent arches, then it's just a delight!)
A beautiful place near the city. It is interesting to visit the museum and explore the old temple by yourself. It is also a great location for photo shoots - beautiful pictures are provided for you.
A wonderful place, very close to Zvartnots Airport. Many pass by, but in vain!!!!! A museum under the sky! Very friendly and helpful staff! If for some reason you haven't been here, it's time to visit 👌
It's much prettier in the photo than in person. But you need to look. Entrance is paid. You can drive directly to the temple by car. Or you can walk along the alley.
A very beautiful temple, but after we paid for the entrance and entered the temple territory, we were met by a wild barking pack of dogs! In the museum. For our money. I had to ask the museum employee (who only smiled as if such a situation was the norm) to accompany us.
The saddest exposition of all the places that I have seen in Armenia, the high cost of admission and the practical lack of something to see, the disappointed state after visiting.
An interesting place. It doesn't look very touristy, but it's worth going there. Especially when the trees are in bloom (we didn't understand who it was, but it was very beautiful)
One of the disadvantages is that it is a little off the beaten path, and it is not very convenient to get to it.
It is a very interesting place, it is better to go there in clear sunny weather to admire the views of Ararat at the same time. I was very amused by the lady's story about the "huge aggressive pack of dogs." Despite the fact that I am generally afraid of dogs myself, I can imagine the behavior of this lady)) From this "huge pack" there are 3 dogs sleeping from the heat and one of them is a puppy))
There is a huge aggressive pack of dogs at the entrance gate, they could not even come close (I have a dog on a leash), the men working there absolutely do not care that they have a natural kennel grazing next to a cultural object, for which you have to PAY MONEY. My dog was bitten, thank God there was no blood. In short, dear employees, solve your problems before you invite tourists.
