Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Next to the botanical garden . On maps before 1850, the prayer house of the Old Believers was marked on this place. Archbishop Vasily (Luzhinsky) consecrated the altar and bell tower as an Orthodox church in 1852. About 5,000 people converted from the Old Believers to Orthodoxy. Now the temple is active and open daily.
A small but very cozy church. There is a botanical garden nearby, which only benefits her. The atmosphere of something calm, closer to nature than to the hustle and bustle of the city.
