Inside the temple, I was greeted by a solemn and at the same time cozy atmosphere. High vaults and massive columns create a sense of spaciousness, and numerous icons and frescoes tell about the life path and exploits of St. John the Baptist. The central place in the temple is occupied by the icon of the holy prophet, which attracts attention with its beauty and expressiveness.
