A stunning, powerful place is the sanctuary of ancient fire. Behind the walls there is a pentagonal courtyard, inside the walls there are cells, a caravanserai and other rooms for various purposes, and the altar itself, where the eternal flame burns, which is supported by natural gas by human hands)). A very interesting history of the temple and religion, wax figures and ancient life, in one of the halls the mantra Om is heard from the speakers. Hire a tour guide on the spot, it's inexpensive, and tells a fascinating story about this place - you won't regret it! Definitely worth a visit.
It can be seen that the area around the temple and the temple itself have recently been restored. Quite interesting, detailed poster materials in English and Azerbaijani, telling about the history of the place.
The ticket office is located near souvenir shops under an inconspicuous sign, it can be difficult to find it.
The Ateshgah Temple together with Yanardag Mountain (although they are quite far from each other) are part of the same museum complex, so it is possible to buy a comprehensive ticket to visit two attractions, which will be cheaper than visiting places separately
An interesting place, there are Russian-speaking guides. We arrived by taxi, the temple is located between residential buildings, the taxi driver had to twist to find it. There is a restaurant on the territory of the complex, they cook delicious and fast. The prices are standard.
I definitely recommend this place to visit for anyone who is interested in architecture and likes to see something unusual. I really wanted to get to this temple of fire, because where else in my life will you visit a place of Zoroastrianism?) We didn't regret coming! And at the entrance there is a stunning beautiful restaurant!
One of the most popular places in the vicinity of Baku!!! It's worth it to set aside a couple of hours and come by the same taxi for 5-10 manats and 20 minutes from the center of Baku and see this place. The entrance ticket is 9 manats per person. But keep in mind that a ticket is valid for the price of 15 manats, which allows you to visit two attractions at once: the temple of fire worshippers Ateshgah and Mount Yanardag. Ask at the ticket offices of one or another place. The temple of Asam is not big, but it is interesting. In principle, 1- 1.5 is enough time, but we were without a guide, but we managed to eavesdrop on other groups))). I think it's worth paying extra for a guide and listening carefully about this place! Inside the temple there are many rooms in which the life of that time is arranged. It is very pleasant and interesting. There is a souvenir shop and all sorts of small shops and cafes on the territory outside the temple.
A popular tourist destination. For general development, you can go. It will be interesting for fans of fire and from the point of view of the history of the development of oil production in this area and the impact of this on everything around. The entrance price is 19 manats (July 24)
I recommend you to visit.
An amazing place that is worth visiting when you arrive in Baku. It takes about half an hour to get from the city center by taxi. The ticket cost 9 manats, and another 10 - a guide per group. The guide, Natavan, had a very interesting tour, thank you very much. The temple is very ancient, representatives of three religions lived on its territory - Zoroastrians, Hindus, Siddhis. The territory has been restored, but the guide's fascinating story imbues you with history.
It was built in the local architectural traditions, modestly modest, but majestic. The main thing is the fire, which has been worshipped since ancient times by Persians and Hindus, followers of Zoroaster.
We were on a sightseeing tour. The place is, of course, a fire!!! With the guide's story, it is as if you are transported to distant times ... the furnishings of the rooms contribute to this. Impressed!!!
I recommend you to visit, always with a guide. It is very interesting how many changes this object of cultural heritage has undergone. This is all a common Turkic story
It's a wonderful museum, I've been there with a child only 1 time. Well, pleasant impressions, atmosphere and memories remained for a lifetime. It is very interesting in this museum. If I come back to Baku, I will definitely visit this museum again. I recommend it to everyone.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It's not much of a place. The fire in the temple is no longer natural, but artificial. There are many rooms that tell about the self-torture of Hindus for the sake of purification. You can watch it once
I recommend coming with a good guide. If I had visited myself, I would have run in half an hour. And so - an hour and a half of fascinating conversations. An interesting place
The temple of fire worshippers. An ancient unique beautiful place. We took an excursion (about an hour), very useful, everything looks different. Be sure to visit.
The impressions exceeded expectations. We took a guide, this is the key to success! I learned a lot about Zoroastrians. There were many Hindus. A new model, of course... It's better to go early, while there are fewer people.
Well, honestly, there is nothing to catch here compared to the historical part of Baku, for fans of interesting stories and architecture. A meager exposition, even a tour was taken, but the impression of wasted time.
We went to the temple of fire worshippers on our own from Baku, it's very easy to get there, the approximate travel time from the center of Baku by bus is 30 minutes. When buying an entrance ticket, we took an excursion, the cost of 5 manats per person, which lasted about 45 minutes, very informative and interesting. I recommend definitely taking an excursion, since I think it would be boring to go and look at the exhibits in the cells on my own. On the territory there is a cafe, souvenir stalls, a clean free toilet. If you are vacationing in Baku and have free time, I recommend visiting on your own, I do not advise you to take an organized tour in agencies.

A relatively small attraction. I advise you to visit with an excursion or with a route to other attractions. It's not worth spending a whole day on this.
In this place , the presence of the spirit of the times , ancient rituals are directly felt and it especially charges with the energy of fire . I recommend a guide . Souvenirs here are worthless and very expensive .
A modest museum, but the temple is strong and you can feel the atmosphere with your skin. It is especially felt when there are no people and you can sit, think, imagine how it was. I definitely recommend you to visit. There is a bus stop nearby. Nice souvenir shops. Authors and artists create in the same place. Whole families.
The temple is located 29-30 minutes by car from the center of Baku. The ticket price is 10 manat

A fascinating, mystical place of worship of the fire of the Zoroastrians. Everything here is saturated with ancient secrets, and competently recreated artifacts create a unique and mysterious atmosphere.

An interesting place. A lot of restored stuff. Thus, the fire, once sacred to the Zoroastrians, is already being fed from the chimney.
Ancient buildings attributed partly to Zoroastrians, partly to Hindus (don't be surprised, everything is written there and looks plausible), but nothing really is known about them. It makes a strong impression, but I would like more reliable historical information (unfortunately, as far as I understand, it simply does not exist, because the place was in desolation for a long time, then nomads lived here ...)
Unfortunately, we were there for the first time in the evening at the beginning of November this year and therefore noticed that the lighting was lame inside.
So the place is unusual and representatives of several religions of the world got along there in an amazing way. Let all the buildings be restored, but interesting and remnants of paintings, as well as finds of household items.
Was in 2019.
A very interesting decorated place.
You understand the history of oil discovery in a simple and accessible way.
It may not be 100% reliable, but it is enough to interest a person to learn the history of this place and Azerbaijan.

A one-time attraction. It is better to come with a guide, as the whole of Tsimus is in history
