A beautiful temple made entirely of wood, which has practically no voids, everything is filled with carved sculptures and figures. The structure is stunning in its beauty and I want to explore every cutout, but this is not possible due to their huge number outside and inside. Definitely worth a visit while in Pattaya. The entrance costs 450-500 baht, and you can enter in closed clothes, covering your knees and shoulders, just like in any other temple.
If you are going to visit, it is better to arrive an hour and a half before sunset, you can walk around the temple and inside, and then climb to the observation deck and admire the beautiful sunset overlooking the temple. In the evening, it transforms into an even more fabulous look with the help of natural and artificial lights.
A great place to explore Thailand.
You can get there very easily on your own. From the terminal on Naklua Street by tuk tuk, then on foot (about 15 minutes) to the temple. Or by taxi.
It is better to leave by 16:00, it is no longer hot and there is an excursion.
There is a guided tour in Russian at 16:30. The entrance ticket is 500 baht. For 200 baht, you will be given special shorts or a skirt to cover your knees, then the money will be refunded when everything is returned.
Staff members meet at the entrance, speak Russian, and help you buy tickets. Everything is very comfortable and fast.
There is a cafe, a souvenir shop, and additional services on site.
The tour lasts about an hour, then there is time to walk on your own, take photos.
I recommend.
