Thanks to history - people used to be able to choose beautiful places for locations....
Now there is a crowd of people....
You can watch it once, but not in a group.., only by yourself and by car.
The beautiful ancient ancient temple of Garni, which was restored from the ruins in the seventies of the last century. When visiting this temple, you get the feeling that you have come to Greece or Italy. There is also a magnificent panoramic view of the gorge of the mountain river Azat.
One of the most beautiful places in Armenia. There is a parking lot, it costs about 50 rubles (200 drams). Entrance is paid. The territory is well maintained.
A very beautiful place, just think about it - it was built around 77 BC! If you were in Armenia and did not visit the temple of Garni, you went in vain!
I recommend it!
The place is beautiful. The temple has been restored and, alas, does not convey all the former greatness of the culture of our ancestors destroyed by Christians.
I was in the temple and monastery on 02/25/2024
The temple can be reached by bus 266 from the monument to Guy.
The fare is 500 AMD
From the drop-off point to the temple to the monastery, the bus costs 200 AMD.
It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the monastery
Entrance to the temple 1500 drams
To the monastery for free
The visit to the temple did not cause vivid impressions

We came with a tour group, the place is very popular. Therefore, there were a lot of people around the temple, everyone wants to take photos
The mountain scenery around the temple itself is no less interesting. There is also a descent to the toilet at the entrance to the gate
A wonderful place from a historical point of view. The natural environment will not leave anyone indifferent.
+
Clean air
There is a place where you can drink coffee,
a free and clean toilet
The temple itself, the bathhouse and the ruins are not super interested, but there is just a wonderful view of the gorge with the river. Standing up to sleep is the best thing.
One of the most beautiful places in Armenia. And somehow I was lucky, there are guys standing there and offering interesting footage from a quadcopter, now I have a cool video from Garni
A very interesting temple with beautiful architecture. A park around the temple and stunning views of the surrounding area, mountains, gorges and rocks. Duduk often plays in the park.
A very beautiful and atmospheric place! I highly recommend taking cat food with you, there are so many stray skinny cats that my heart bleeds. If someone goes there, then please take food for them!
The views are beautiful, there are a lot of people. There is no temple inside. Near the old Roman baths with mosaics, dull and no, but ancient. If seven miles for a rabid dog is not a hook, you can take the country paths down from the temple, having lost your way, go out for free into the Symphony of stones from the back side. But it's really beautiful there.
One Delight is only the fence around the temple, as I understand it, protecting from the garden, an inappropriate lattice, a disappointing fence, like a fly in the ointment...
Be sure to visit during your trip to Armenia! The temple of the Pre-Christian era! Magnificent mountains, clean air, the feeling of "traveling into the past"!
The history of Armenia is multifaceted and multidisciplinary. Although Armenia is the first country to adopt Christianity as a state religion, there were also pagans, fire/sun worshippers... This is the place where you can feel the power of that energy.
It's just ruins, there's not a pleasant smell in the interior. There are a lot of people, and you also need to pay 1,500 drams for admission. The only thing is a beautiful view of the canyon.
Yeah... We paid 1500 drams from the nose, went to a small clearing, in the middle there is a temple of Garni. The whole inspection took at most 10 minutes. Climb the tall steps, look at one room, admire the columns and look at the gorgeous view down the gorge and mountains. Then we walked for 20 minutes to another "attraction" - singing stones. The road to them is a very steep descent (keep in mind that you will have to climb back up). The singing stones themselves are naturally (wind and rain) treated rocks, similar to an organ. And the echo of the river running below. And all the fun is 200 drams.))) In my opinion, most of the Armenian attractions are very overrated))
It's an amazing place.
The ancient temple built by the Armenian king Trdat the first, it is striking that it was built in the first century AD.
Must-visit
It is a very beautiful, atmospheric place, if you are in Armenia, then I advise you to definitely visit! There are also very beautiful mountains nearby!
