We had a rest in Sukhum in August 2024, we were looking for decent restaurants according to reviews, we liked the restaurant "Good Place" very much. Super convenient location by the sea, the views are gorgeous! There are tables outside, there are tables indoors. The food is very tasty, the portions are large, the prices are average. The service is excellent, the waiters are polite and friendly! The only negative, (as everywhere in Abkhazia) there is no separate smoking area, people smoke at the tables.

Everything was very tasty, we waited about half an hour for food, but there was almost a full landing. The sea view is amazing. The service is good, the waiter is polite. The only disadvantage is that the waiter is only 1 for the entire room, both indoors and outdoors. But this is not a minus for the waiter, but for the management. The girl tried, constantly ran back and forth without stopping, it was obvious that she was already tired, but she still served at the level. We will definitely come back again

It's a wonderful place! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner only there, it was very tasty, the staff was pleasant, the view was excellent, I can say with confidence that when we return to Abkhazia we will definitely visit this place again! Even after leaving home, we remember delicious breakfasts in a Good place.

As there was no service in Abkhazia a year ago, two and others, so there is no service. Last year, everything was better in this place, in particular the work of the waiters, which is paid, I'm sure. Don't set foot here, only if you want to pay for sitting for more than 10 minutes without a menu, then go get it yourself. I came, took the salad with eggplant and pasta with shrimp, got the salad after 20-30 minutes, and the pasta could not be found, but after another 60 minutes we decided to take out the pasta, which had already lain for 30 minutes. Which I didn't even want to eat anymore. A good place has become a bad place. The eggplant salad was delicious, but the pasta, you know, was cold and not tasty.

And I'm not talking about a great cafe with excellent service. I'm talking about the recreation center itself, which is not on the map!!!
Yes, beautiful houses, but the advantages end there.
1. Audibility. We heard neighbors, a nearby cafe, noise on the street, the sounds of motorcycle cars driving over our heads
2. Somehow, in my opinion, the authorities do not know how to count. We had 3 days (i.e. 15,000). It was considered strange to us. They do not count by the day, but by the day. We have 4 days, and check-in and check-out are incomplete days. As a result, it turned out to be 5,000 more expensive. Not much, of course, but it's still kind of unpleasant.
3. Gypsies!!! They came to our empty houses… Oh my God, it was hell! We stopped by late in the evening (naturally with a bunch of ill-mannered children), and in the morning we found their goods unloading for sale right in the houses! Not only were the children behaving terribly, and the adults were yelling "like in the village", but also all the verandas were filled with packages of goods. Well, what kind of vacation is this, friends…
4. There are ventilation problems in the house, in the restroom. She was starting to squeak… It was necessary to hit the floor with all the dope in the bathroom and then the squeaking stopped.
5. A refrigerator is not a refrigerator. The freezer has no door. As a result, all our products are what? That's right, they froze!!! Both drinks and food… Frozen cucumbers and tomatoes shocked us
6. There are no windows. No, of course there are windows, but they cannot be opened. Well, they're just not meant to be opened. There is only air conditioning, or an open door.
7. By the way, about the houses inside. Everything was fine with the bedding and towels. But the floor seemed to be filled with centuries-old dust-dirt and so on. The closet is generally a charm. We've never seen anything like this. To open the wardrobe, you need to pull the door towards you and only then slide it sideways. Because the door to this "compartment" is fixed only from above

A good place… It's delicious, the portions are large. The service is excellent, but I can say one thing - as you treat people, so do they treat you! Clean, the sound of the sea. Light music. If you are vacationing in Sukhum, you must visit this place. Yes, the serving of dishes is a little long (no longer than in Moscow), but it's worth it. Well, the price will seem different for everyone.... No wonder they say "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", it was delicious and good for us, and this is the main thing!

We had dinner at full boarding: fast, tasty, affordable. The meat in Abkhazian is very tender, khinkali with a lot of cilantro, but very harmonious and delicious!
We had breakfast at 9.30, although it is written from 10.00. The coffee is delicious, the milk for the coffee is whipped and served hot, coffee with liqueur is very tasty. Shakshuka and a "good breakfast" are excellent!

The name does not correspond to reality, yesterday we visited from the road on the recommendation, we are very disappointed. The menu was waited for 10 minutes, the food was brought to us, but we asked to bring the appliances ourselves, we probably had to eat with our hands, the waitress said that she was going to bring the appliances, but she was distracted. We eventually went to get napkins ourselves, since two men she knew very well were sitting next to us and always left good tips, so she spent most of her time near them, although in the end their check was three times less than ours, they paid at the same time. The main claim is that the price per dish is more expensive than in a restaurant in Samara, and the quality of service is worse than in a cafe on the highway. Three only for delicious food and that you can pay with a card. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

The sea is beautiful, of course, but we could also make a beautiful veranda with a beautiful view of the sea, and not just a veranda and a pile of garbage below near the sea. The service is 0, the waitresses are not polite, we did not like the food at all, the set of forks and spoons is dirty, as are the glasses. At the neighbor's table, a woman found hair in a salad, her appetite was already gone from this sight. But when the ordered dishes were brought to us, there was nothing at all, and the prices were too high. We do not recommend it.

The food is not bad, I especially liked khinkali, there were no lamb dishes, I think they overdid it with trout on the grill, it's delicious without extra powder, the staff is polite, the cafe is full in the evening, it's good to have dinner at sunset on the seashore. The location at the very end of the embankment, far from the center of Sukhum, is secluded, for someone plus for someone minutes, breakfast with coffee on the beach by the sea, this is a great start to the day.

The first time we came, we ordered a salad with crispy eggplant, the salad was very tasty, like the rest of the food. The second time we ordered the same salad , the salad was disgusting 🤮 overcooked eggplant , almost black , 2 small pieces of cheese. We took a burger with the salad, I do not recommend it, the cutlet was black👎🏻

A very nice place! Large and generous portions!!! The waitresses are pretty, Abkhazian with character, but still nice and friendly.
I don 't understand the bad reviews here about the service ... this is not Moscow or St. Petersburg where everyone competes on the service, who will lick the heel better🙃 this is a local flavor ! These are local girls. The food is delicious!
If you don 't find fault , then everything is fine here )
We eat all the rest in a "good place", we have never had a stomach ache, we have never been poisoned.

As a result, one dish was completely forgotten to serve. We ordered an elementary carbonara. It seems that local visitors were served with pleasure, and tourists were served sideways. The landing was small, so it is not clear how the kitchen works. I liked only pita bread from everything. I do not recommend it.

This is amazing! The taste of all the dishes is so balanced! The waiters suggest all combinations (I recommend local dishes) and not to the thinness of your wallet :).
