Khachapur is also very good. Compote in Abkhazia should be taken from feijoa. This is a straight top. It is cozy inside, there are separate cabins and an open veranda on the 2nd floor. In terms of service, the vibe of the Soviet cafe is felt. Everyone seems to be a little busy with their own affairs and not that they were waiting for you))) But I will consider it a feature.
By the way, "Muhus" is super touristic, but the Khinkali there is also very decent.

This is a legendary place in Sukhum. One day, in 18, we stopped in new Athos to drink coffee near the lake and taste a delicious boat with an egg and wanted to order khinkali, but we were recommended to go to this place. And now there are already 5 mandatory places to visit in Abkhazia in our piggy bank.
Khinkali is very juicy and delicious, a portion of 5 pieces is 300 rubles. I recommend trying hashlama and pickles. This is not a tourist place, locals come to eat regularly.

Good khinkali at a very affordable price. For my taste, and I know a lot about Khinkali, for 4. The interior is usual for such an institution. There is a toilet!!! The choice of dishes is sufficient. This is our first time in Abkhazia, maybe this is a great place for Sukhum, but it's strange for us. There are 2 halls in the institution: with and without air conditioning, you can smoke in both, and in the air-conditioned hall the smell is as if they have been smoking there for 10 years. It is especially strange that you can smoke on the outdoor veranda, although it is not difficult to go out and stand on the porch.
Cuisine: solyanka is a rich mashed soup with pieces of meat (with a lot of veins, partitions, about half of the total amount of meat) with half rings of onions. It's too sharp for me. My husband was eating, but it was "hot". The waiter warned that it was spicy
Borscht is not spicy, but also not very saturated, you can say no, beef from borscht has lived a long and happy life
Chicken soup is delicious, not spicy, a large piece of meat.
Khinkali was sharp, the dough was slightly undercooked, minced meat with herbs, and the green onion was cut too large, veins come across. Khinkali was tastier in Sochi, but what can I say: in our city, far from the sea and the Caucasus, there are places where khinkali tastes better.
The compote is cold, from feijoa, pleasant, but sweet, as for me.
They serve quickly, the order is prepared quickly.
There is no desire to visit this cafe anymore.
