A pretty good Korean restaurant, especially considering the supply chain challenges of Tashkent - they manage to source authentic ingredients. Service was fine. You pay a price for this though - food is expensive compared to other local places. Will visit again.
Han Kang Restaurant has moved to a new location. Yet again it is semi basement, however with a bright interior. The food is average, some of the items are above average, like mandu chongol or kimchi chongol. They do have korean soju, very expensive.
Service is okay. Waiters cant speak well english or russian, but i could see that they had no trouble with korean.
I was addicted to this cuisine by a friend who lived in Yu.Korea is 8 years old. It all started with a cafe in the parking lot of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The cook there was grandma, who cooked an amazing "Korean borscht" - kimchige. Then the cafe moved across the street between Zhemchug and the 9th floor building. That's where the name came from. Finally, now the owners seem to have bought (as they stated) this basement, where they moved for the last time about 3 years ago. How many waiters have changed during this time, how much water has flowed... But Grandma remains unchanged (God grant her a long life) and her kitchen.
I recommend it to all lovers of Korean cuisine!
The only place I go to eat Korean cuisine, there are very few such places in Tashkent!!
The values correspond to the quality of the dishes. The staff is excellent!!
I advise everyone to come here and you will understand what I am talking about)
An authentic establishment with an extensive menu. Dishes prepared with soul level out a rather simple interior. The pleasant aftertaste after a visit makes you come back again.
I've been going to this cafe for 15 years, when they were still at the pearl. I purposefully searched for where they had moved to and was finally able to visit their new location. The menu is the same (the best kimchitige in Tashkent), samgetam (good with a hangover, I ate only like that). Alcohol is available (you know, Korean cuisine, it's impossible to imagine it without it), though without any frills.
Of the disadvantages, there are no old waiters (waitresses, more precisely) and do not work late.
We visited today. It was delicious. We sat in a big company, delicious chokpal, ribs, soups for 4, a lot of snacks, tokpokki not very much. If you like Hanguk cuisine, I recommend it
I love this place. Traditionally, I go here once a month in the evening to eat. We have been walking, in fact, for a very long time. We have been visiting them every month for about 1.5 years. I also advise kitchen lovers 💜
The kitchen didn't come in. Very specific. Probably just not mine. A little expensive.
The decor is mediocre, a white dining room. But perhaps connoisseurs of this cuisine will like it
