I write everything honestly. We had a rest in early September. The guest house is quite decent, without bells and whistles, but everything is clean and tidy enough, the owners are trying, they cleaned 3 times in 10 days, it suited us, because we really understood that there was no safe, but our personal belongings were there. There is Internet, TV is also available via the Internet, it's a pity that we figured out how to use it in full, it turned out closer to departure. The guest house is next to the sea, at night with the windows open you can hear the sound of the surf (the air conditioner was turned off at night). There is a road along the hotel, this is the only exit to the sea by car, it was annoying, because the locals go down to the cafe in cars with music, but it happened with us 2 times. According to nutrition, I will say that it is PP (healthy food), 3 times a day, specifically on time and specifically at its dedicated table. As they wrote earlier on the choice, this is not true, clearly: breakfast is tea, porridge (different every day and always with milk) and the second, not heavy, it can be cottage cheese, omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, necessarily a portion piece of butter, meat and cheese slicing, but do not build illusions like in the restor, everything is portioned, there may be a light salad. Lunch: compote or juice (different every day), the first is often mashed soups, quite tasty, do not look for large pieces of meat, everything is turned into mashed potatoes, there was chicken soup, borscht, the second is buckwheat or rice or mashed potatoes with a la goulash of chicken, pork (lean, without fat), sometimes beef, there were chicken thighs, cutlets, meatballs, stuffed peppers and of course on Thursday (Soviet fish day) baked trout whole with vegetables, vegetable salad (different every day), or olivier, or crab and of course fresh wheat bread. Dinner: this is a salad (already different, not the one that was for lunch), or a bun or a pie, or a puff pastry (all its own after lunch baking), the second is different, and not what was for lunch and tea is hot. They cook everything themselves and every day. During the stay, they did not suffer from heartburn or anything else. All nutrition is based on what is good for the digestive tract, which is very pleasing. It's stingy, but delicious. Thanks to the cook. You can order any meal when booking, or only breakfast, or 2 meals a day, but we had 3 and we did not regret it, we saved a lot of money on food, and even useful. In the hotel, the main contingent is not young people, there are even those who visit there every year because there are almost few people on the beach. But remember - the beach is pebbly, there are no sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, if you want shade, you will have to either go to the left or to the right, there are paid ones. There is only one cafe next to the hotel, but we did not eat there, the neighbors got sick there and we already concluded that we did not need it, then we found out on the beach that they were not alone. There is a Veranda cafe -restaurant 1.5 km away, it is delicious, but not cheap, and there is a Balcony next to the cafe, which is also good.(I think the owner is there alone). There are only three shops near the hotel and all these shops are like stalls from the 90s, there is a very poor choice. The price of local beer ranges from 85 rubles to 150 rubles on the beach. If a very quiet holiday without noise, without fuss and without people and without civilization is important for you, then Gudauta is waiting for you. There is only a sedate rest and the purest sea with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If you love movement, then this is not for you. There are very few young people. Rather, it is a vacation for people with the principle that those who understand life, take their time. There is nowhere to walk around the city, only the city bazaar. Next to the bazaar, a little uphill in a straight line there is a minibus to New Athos or Sukhum, 200 rubles from the nose and you are in the hustle and civilization. In short, the conclusion is: will we go on vacation to Gudauta - YES, We liked the KHAN Guest House - YES, we will come and stay there - definitely YES. Many thanks to Inesa, Irma, the guard Ibrahim, the hostess Zita and of course the Cook for our successful vacation. Good luck to you and your city. Abkhazia prosper.(Minus 1 star for the lack of its own beach, well, at least umbrellas on the beach, even if they are paid).
