Nice hotel, classic "pyateoka" in the colonial style. Large beautiful territory, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food. The beach is clean, if algae washes up on the shore, they are immediately removed. The water is clear, transparent, and emerald in color. There is a living reef. The food is delicious and varied, the service is good. The only downside is that the rooms are humid, but there is a dehumidifier that does a good job of its function. Overall, the price-quality ratio is decent.
The Kempinski Hotel in the Seychelles is located on Mahe is about 40 minutes from the airport. We had a rest in it in December 2024. Stunningly beautiful and well-maintained territory, the first coastline, delicious food. The hotel even has its own three large (up to 1 m) turtles. There is a Russian-speaking staff at the reception. Minus one is the overgrown corals along the entire coastline, which makes it difficult to swim in the ocean) it's not for nothing that everyone who goes to the Seychelles is advised to choose several different islands with different beaches)
I rarely write reviews. I had a rest from 11.01. to 22.01.25. 1. Customs control was passed very quickly, the luggage was received quickly too, the transfer is normal. Check-in to the room ahead of the "X" time. I had accommodation first in a room with a view of the garden, and then moving to a room with a view of the lagoon. We checked into a room with a view of the lagoon. Very attentive and responsive Russian-speaking staff at the reception. 2. The room is large and has a comfortable layout. What is very important is that the room has an air conditioner with dehumidification function, which saved it from high humidity in the room. Upon check-in, the hotel's compliment is that everything in the refrigerator is free, banana and pineapple chips, and of course water in the glass. In the process of relaxing, I came to visit a room with an ocean view. I was very surprised that it was smaller and the layout was really not very convenient, I read somewhere in one of the reviews and the tourist was very indignant - I don't understand why. 3. Nutrition. I had breakfast and dinner. Personally, I had enough food, but they don't know how to cook meat and fish. For breakfast, there were many types of yogurt, cheeses, fruits, which were very tasty, oatmeal, vegetables, eggs of various preparations, food for vegans, pastries, and freshly squeezed juices. For dinner, delicious soups - seafood and mashed potatoes of various types, meat, fish, rice, pastries and sweets. For dinner, all drinks are paid, even water. Be prepared that there are no gastronomic delights. 4. Entertainment. There was always live music in the lobby bar in the evening. There is no other entertainment. The gym is open 24/7 and it's decent, there are several tennis courts. I was very pleased with the large and well-maintained territory. 5. The ocean. The ocean is beautiful - warm and beautiful. Get ready for algae floating in places. The coastline is clean, it is cleaned in the morning, the recreation area is always cleaned and it is shaded by palm trees. Towels for relaxation can be obtained at a specific location. Near the pool there is a place opposite the beach restaurant, and where the rooms with sea views are located there is the same brown gazebo. When you receive a towel, you need to tell the employee to bring you water (it is cold with ice and lemon - free of charge in any quantity). It is best to swim early in the morning - the tide is good and you can enjoy swimming. By one o'clock in the afternoon, the water is gone and paradise for kids - it gets very shallow, but this will not stop the Russians :))) - you can find the pros in everything if you don't look for the cons. 6. The weather. It wasn't hot at that time, and sometimes it rained, but it didn't bother me personally. 7. Guided tours. I took an excursion to the islands of La Digue and Praslin. To Mahe by bus and then by a large catamaran to the islands. I was very seasick, but the helpful attendants helped me cope with it. The nature of the Seychelles is a delight!
