The most gorgeous place! Like the inn from my dreams))
I don't know if it's the owner, I didn't specify, but the man who's there serves and cooks himself! Sometimes he has assistants, but mostly he does everything himself. We came here completely by accident - it was just very close to the hotel, and in the end we liked it so much that we ate at this place several times, and each time it pleased us.
Firstly, just huge portions, even for my husband and me (and we are still lovers of eating a double portion)), so keep in mind if you also like to order two dishes at once - you will overeat to the brim, and everything is very, very tasty! And coffee, and tea, and salads, and main dishes.
Secondly, the peasant communicates very pleasantly, always politely, from his "Bon appétit!" there is such an incredible warmth. But he speaks only English and Turkish, keep in mind. The menu, for whom it is important, is also only in Turkish-English, there is no Russian, but there are small pictures - the dishes correspond to them. Well, you can clarify if you are interested in something) In general, it is understandable.
Thirdly, the prices are much cheaper compared to any place in the district, and the portions and quality are not that inferior, they are much steeper))) Plus, there are no annoying touts!
And also a very pleasant location - at the intersection of rather quiet streets, panoramic Windows. It is very pleasant to be there. Among other things, free WiFi, the password to which is on a piece of paper right on the table, you do not need to ask again, it works well.
I would describe the atmosphere in general as a visit to a Turkish grandmother))
The wait can be long, but this is because the peasant cooks everything himself, goes to the kitchen and, if lucky, you can stay in general exclusively with your company in the hall.
Of the nuances: the kitchen and bathroom are behind the wall, the entrance is through the next door across the street.
It's very tasty, the best food of all the places we've been to (restaurants are 3 times more expensive - worse, believe me)! If you live nearby or come for a walk, be sure to stop by to eat.
No touts, prices are much lower than those of the neighbors (as of October 2024, the kebab mix is 500 lira, when others have 900-1200), the owner is a very pleasant person, works late
Very tasty and homemade. The owner and his wife are cooking. We had dinner twice and were very satisfied. Prices are lower than in other restaurants. The owner is quite unobtrusive. After dinner, he treated me to coffee and dessert, it was nice.
